Nice Place

Nice, clean rooms. Convenient to nice beach. The lazy river is very small. The price was good but it was inconvenient to have to take my own sheets and towels.

Great stay, great host, great location

We had myself, better half, and 3 teenage boys down staying for a week. The condo was just the right size, and the property was perfect. We loved having private beach access, and having 2 boys who love the fish the location to Cherry Grove pier was perfect. Don was quick to reply to any messages I sent. Check in and check out were easy. Would definitely stay here again.

Very nice stay

We enjoyed our stay at this condo, the location is close to Main St. access to the beach was great. We had a couple of very minor hiccups that the owner addressed very quickly and all went well.

Very satisfied

We enjoyed our 5 day stay and the condo met our needs. The location is close to Main Street where shopping and restaurants are located. Any issue we had the owner was prompt in responding to our needs. We would stay again.

Family Vacation

The property was in a great location. Easy access to the beach. Short walk to local eating places, arcade for the kids, and some beach shops. The only thing that would have made it better was to have linens and towels provided and a place to grill. We will stay again when we visit North Myrtle.

Had a great time.

The condo, property and location were perfect for our family of 4. Pool, hot tub and lazy river right on the beach and close to Main St shops and restaurants. Don was very helpful and checked in a few times to make sure everything was good.

Last minute get-away

Nice condo, but not oceanfront view

The condo was very clean and easy to get to. The area was nice, just didn't realize the Wyndam was directly beside us, which led to more of a crowded beach than we usually enjoy. Also the building IS oceanfront, but this condo was NOT. Overall, we enjoyed our stay, and would recommend the condo if you don't mind the side view and crowded area. The hosts were very nice to deal with.

Stay was nice. Beds need to be updated. They were very hard. Glad I read reviews because no where on amenities does it say that you have to bring your own sheets a towels. Other than that, love the location!

Wonderful Owners

Don was wonderful to work with. We had a few little things go wrong but he stayed on top of it and made sure everything was taken care of. He checked in with us to make sure our vacation was going well after things gotten taken care of. It was one of the best experiences we have had with renting through VRBO. The condo was nice and was great fit for our family. We highly recommend this unit and the wonderful owners!

Great place to stay!

The condo was perfect for our family of four. It’s exactly as described in the listing. You do have to bring your own bed linens and towels, which was fine with me. The bedrooms are big! The cleaning crew could do a little more dusting and the overhead fans need an upgrade. Those are the only 2 negatives. The location is great. The kitchen had everything we needed. There is a nice ocean view from the balcony and it gets the ocean breeze too. The check in was super easy and Mr. Neal is great at communicating. We really enjoyed our stay and would stay here again.

Quick end of summer trip

Condo had everything we needed for a quick, last minute trip to finish out the summer. Convenient location—close to multiple of our favorite restaurants, grocery, beach access is a breeze, and condo is conveniently located outside of the elevator. Mr. Neal was so hospitable. He reached out multiple times to ensure we had everything we needed and that everything was as we expected. He is quick to reply with any questions you may have. Definitely a great host to work with!

Lovely Condo

The only reason I gave 4 stars rather than 5 was because we had to pack our own bed linens. We didn’t really have room with our luggage to pack sheets, blankets, etc. And I had to wash all the linens once we returned home. We also didn’t have sheets at home for a king size bed. The condo was clean, and in a good location right on the beach yet quiet. There are gifts shops, a mini mart, and a few restaurants within walking distance which was handy.

Verandas by the Sea August 2024

We stayed from August 8-August 17 2024. We arrived when Myrtle Beach was experiencing a lot of rain from tropical storm Debbie. Don was very informative up to the day of arrival of any weather updates and recommendations from the Veranda’s home ownership association. All turned out well, though. Day of arrival was very rainy but everyday after we were on the beach!! Condo was spacious and comfortable. Location was nice, easy access to beach. It was nice to be able to walk to Main Street for some restaurants and entertainment. Would stay here again. Don was great in communicating with and took care of any issues immediately. Fortunately, we had very, very minor issue we needed to contact him about. Just needed an extra parking pass, can’t complain about that!!!

spring break getaway

The property is at a great location in NMB. My biggest issue was that sheets, towels, TP, etc. were not supplied. I didn't realize that when I booked, and I just happened to notice someone else commented on that fact. Thankfully I found out before we went or that would have been very upsetting. The excuse was due to COVID restrictions, and the cleaning people not having time to do the laundry. COVID shouldn't be an issue in 2024, and I have stayed in many locations at the beach and elsewhere - all of which supplied sheets, bath towels, and starting supplies such as TP, paper towels, soap, etc. I most likely would not have booked there had I realized that fact. That is just more to have to take on vacation, and a lot more laundry to do when we get back home.

Perfect Family Spot

Booking was smooth and easy! Easy checkin! The owner was very attentive and very responsive to all messages before, during and after our stay. We had one minor issue with the AC and it was taken care of right away. The unit is across from the elevator for easy loading and unloading. The unit was clean and up-to-date. Mattresses are firm, which everyone in our group loved! Bedspreads and pillows are provided, however, you do need to bring your own linens, which is much cheaper than using a linen rental service, which you need to book at least a month in advance. There’s a washer and dryer in the unit and that helped tremendously with the loads of laundry we did during our stay. Full kitchen for cooking and cleanup. You do have a starter set of toilet paper and paper towels. If this is your first trip to the beach, Boulineau’s is about a mile from the location. However, they are pricey, but have a full service deli and hot bar and salad bar. There is a Walmart five minutes away as well as a Kroger. Great ocean view and beautiful sunsets. The location has a saltwater pool which we used almost as much as we did going out on the beach. Great spots to eat including hotdogs, ice cream, seafood, tacos and burger joints all within walking distance, along with a small carnival and arcade for the kids! This was an awesome experience for us and I’ve told the property owner he needs a bigger place so we can bring our ENTIRE family next time :-)
