Beautiful, cozy retreat

It’s such a lovely home and garden! We were so glad we picked your place to stay. There were 6 of us, all family who came from different directions. It was the perfect place to gather, and host Jody was thoughtful and wonderful. We enjoyed walking around the neighborhood, and it was a short distance to walk trails and the ocean. We even changed plans to spend more time just hanging at the house.

Garden Beauty

We had the most relaxing time! The house was beautiful and we had all the amenities we needed so that we really felt at home. The beds were super comfortable and there were plenty of bathrooms so everyone could have their own space. We loved sitting in the garden with coffee in the morning. One of my favorite things was the placement of fresh flowers throughout the house. The location was close to walking trails and a beach, while still being a short drive to the city. Jody was very accessible to all of our questions and needs. I would definitely recommend staying here!

Perfect in every way

Our party of 7 consisting of 6 adults and 1 child thoroughly enjoyed our 7 days at this wonderful house in Vallemar, Pacifica. Nestled on a quiet street in a safe neighbourhood, Rockaway Beach was only a short (nature) walk away, along with cafes, shops and restaurants. Perfectly placed between the airport and downtown SF. The host was super nice and provided a folder packed with useful information about the house, local area and SF. The house has been well cared for; it’s spacious and tastefully decorated throughout, it has a lovely welcoming feel to it and is beautifully furnished; spotlessly clean, with every modern convenience you could wish for. A home from home, we loved it!

Beautiful home, great location

I rented this beautiful home for my brother who was coming into town with his family (children ages 15 and 12) for a conference at Stanford. I chose it because it is near the beach and San Francisco, and not too far from where I live (Palo Alto). It is a spacious, beautifully appointed home with a full kitchen, coffee station and supplies. It has a backyard for the kids and is only a 1 mile walk to the beach. The whole family was able to walk to a cute railroad car coffee shop and groceries on the corner, and had plenty of restaurants to choose from, including my favorite place for lunch and people watching, Soul Grind. Loved that this rental was an easy place to reach both Google and Apple campuses (about 40 min away), and still have a peaceful respite on the coast after work. We all were able to spend some time in San Francisco, too, as it was an easy 15 minute drive. Next time we will make sure to see Half Moon Bay, as well. It is a lovely house- super clean and had everything we needed.

My children are off to college so I am traveling more, and am so excited to be able to share the home I love with visitors!

I have lived in Pacifica for over 25 years and raised my children here. We love the small town feel of this place, the proximity to nature and the ease of access to San Francisco and surrounding areas.

What makes this property unique

The neighborhood of Vallemar is one of the most sought after places to live in this area because of its tree-lined streets, beautiful creek and proximity to the beach and trails. I love the sanctuary of my garden and hope you do, too- we spend many hours there laughing with friends. The house is light-filled, comfortable and a tad whimsical in its decorations- it is a reflection of the fun and love of the place. Good for families or for business trips. PERMIT 14614726
