This one of a kind spot is located on the beautiful Sassafras River. Tranquility mixed with nature at its best on the Eastern Shore of Maryland. This cozy stone cottage offers the perfect place to relax and enjoy time with loved ones, family or friends. It is perfect for a couples get-away. It is situated on one acre and is a stone's throw from the river. From watching a passing boat, to bird watching, fishing or kyacking , there is plenty to admire and enjoy. It offers a full kitchen including quartzite countertops, stove/oven , microwave and refrigerator/freezer. There is one bedroom with a TV and a queen sofa bed in open floor plan. There is a knotty pine board ceiling thru out the cottage. The bathroom features a glass shower with a pebble stone floor. The magnificent view from the large windows is fantastic. A swing from the tree is relaxing along with the andirondack chairs near the fire- pit. A table and chairs for dinner sits beautifully on the porch near the barbecue grill.

What a beautiful property! We loved every second we stayed here. Tami is a wonderful host. The property was so clean, wonderfully maintained, and had everything we needed. Probably one of the best properties my fiance and I have stayed at. It is such a beautiful spot. We loved the swing out back!!

We can't say enough about this lovely cottage. The setting is perfect - calm, quiet and just beautiful. The place was immaculate. You can tell the owners take pride in the property. There is much to do in the area or just simply grab a kayak and enjoy the river or sit on the swing and read - or just watch the river flow by. The hosts were wonderful - communicated with us and made sure we had a great stay.We will be back!!!

A pristine cottage tucked in along the river. All amenities included. Brilliant days spent luxuriating on the dock, that swing! or inside with windows everywhere.Perfect setting to have friends/family join you for the day or keep it all to yourself! We celebrated our wedding anniversary -Alone - and felt spoiled by everything this location had to offer.The hosts were marvelous, welcoming us as if we were family. What a treasure this cottage is! Our only complaint was not being able to stay a full week!

A wonderful rental from wonderful people. I will likely rent this cottage again God willing in the future. Thank you Tami And Bill for being so kind and generous. The a/c worked great and the tea and coffee selection were superb and everything in the cottage worked perfectly. You cannot rent a more peaceful cottage anywhere and the Galena pizzeria nearby was quite good with nice people and fair prices. Not sure the last time I bought a large cheese pizza for 13 and it was good to boot.

Love at first sight! What an adorable stone cottage! Beautiful from the outside, and new and gorgeous inside! The glass windows in the living room bring the beauty of the river view right indoors! Fishing was fun from the dock and you can watch your bobbers from the tree swing! A real treasure, as were the wonderful hosts, who have a real love for their property, and it shows. We will definitely return! Can’t say enough about this gem!

What can I say that hasn’t already been said by everyone who has had the delight of staying at the beautiful place. I stayed at Tami’s place over the Mother’s Day weekend; it was the best gift I could’ve ever given myself. I met Tami the 2nd of my stay and thought she was one of the sweetest people I’ve ever met…she actually brought me a beautiful bouquet of fresh cut flowers from her garden for Mother’s Day. The entire experience of staying at Stone Riverside was life changing for me; I’ll be going back

The cottage is lovely, well outfitted, and spotlessly clean. We greatly enjoyed the view and relaxing on the swing and dock. On sunny days, we took lovely walks at nearby state parks and on rainy days, we enjoyed reading books and doing puzzles. Our host, Tami, was incredibly kind in having a surprise birthday treat waiting for my husband. It’s a wonderful place to relax and enjoy nature. Thank you!
