Clean and comfortable home close to everything!

We had a great weekend visit to ASU as a family of four with The Real Lax Spot as our home base. The home was a perfect fit with everything we needed for our stay. Clean comfortable and convenient to everything in Tempe and Phoenix. We would happily stay again!

Spring Training Visit

Wow!! Such an amazing place to stay. We enjoyed all aspects of this house, especially the game room & pool. It’s close to wonderful restaurants but you may not need them because the kitchen is great here too! So accommodating, clean & just lovely. This is where I’m staying next time!

Perfectly comfortable home close to ASU & Barrett/Vista!

You should have no hesitation to rent this lovely home! Everything is top notch. Very clean and new. Great a/c. Well equipped. Nice open layout. Great game room. Pool is awesome. We had about 10 friends over for pre-game dinner and it was very comfortable. I would def rent here again.

Extended Stay

We stayed two weeks at this property with our infant during a renovation of our home. The property is very clean and very well stocked. We managed to cook and clean without purchasing or bringing items from our own home. We stayed during Halloween so can affirm that the neighborhood and neighbors are friendly and nice. There is a park nearby with a playground. We comfortably used the pool in November, enough said. Overall our stay was great.

Quick stay for soccer tournament

We stayed at the property for two nights for a soccer tournament. The advance communication from the property manager was excellent, and they were responsive to our questions throughout the stay. The shared space of the living room/family room/kitchen is very nice, and we enjoyed the pool. My pre-teen loved the game room and set up shop in there. The listing says "1 double sofa bed" in the game room. The pull-out in the game-room is a small padded chair that extends out flat; it was not really long enough for my avg-sized 12 year old, and was smaller than a single wide mattress. No sheets or pillows were provided for that room. Nice property overall, but make sure you aren't counting on that room for someone to sleep in.

Great Place!

We recently stayed at this house for a girls’ trip, and overall, it was a beautiful home with so many fun attributes! The inside was spotless, and each room was decorated so nicely—it really felt like a cozy yet upscale getaway. The host also provided clear and thorough instructions, which made check-in and navigating the house super easy.That being said, there were quite a few rules and restrictions, which made the stay feel a little more structured than expected. Nothing too crazy, but definitely something to keep in mind if you prefer a more laid-back rental experience. Also, while I understand outdoor spaces can be hard to keep spotless, the seating area could have been a little cleaner.One thing that made us a bit uncomfortable was the Ring camera overlooking the pool and entire backyard. Since it was just us girls, we spent a lot of time tanning and swimming, and it felt a little odd privacy-wise.Aside from that, it really was a lovely stay, and the home itself was well-maintained and enjoyable. If you don’t mind a few extra house rules and the backyard camera, it’s a great place to stay!

Spotless and Cozy

We were visiting for a Cubs spring training game, so we were only there for a few days. The house has older bones, but is extremely clean with lots of updates! It has all of the basic cooking needs to get you through your stay. All of the linens were also of good quality. The game room was a big hit for our children. The house is in walking distance to a little park (Myer Park) and close to many shops/eateries. A few suggestions though; supplied facial tissues would be greatly appreciated, a working ice maker is a MUST in Arizona (or even supplied bagged ice would be nice). We were grateful for the ice cube trays (even if one was broken). The pool cover was our least favorite part of the house...its just not easy to cover the pool...its absolutely a 2 person job. Lastly, natural or unscented cleaning products would also be nice...when we entered the house the chemical smell was overwhelming and gave all of us a headache. Overall, this was a nice property, location, and management was wonderful to work with!

Nightmare host, flying roaches, secret cameras, oh my!

Experience with host Alondra & property was deeply disappointing. Initially rejected by her on for a party booking because she needed to keep it open for overnight bookings for the holiday, we booked through Vrbo for 2 nights. Listing said parties allowed. Signed rental agreement morning of booking & informed about party at that time, that’s my bad not seeing email earlier. During set up for our daughter's grad party (19 people max, ended at 9:30), Alondra accused us of creating a fire hazard with a non-electrical projection screen that tipped into the pool. Was unprofessionally hostile. Pool had string lights AND a city telephone line hanging directly above it. She threatened to cancel our booking to ruin party, interrupting & accusing us repeatedly. Listing now states 2 ring cameras for security only, then why are you watching? The property itself was in poor condition, incorrect clocks, missing items, trash in yard, & structural issues. Significant privacy concerns arose from 2 additional undisclosed cameras detected via WiFi & magnetic frequency scanners, suggesting unauthorized surveillance. There is also a PC connected to the WiFi that I couldn’t locate. Sketchy. Situation worsened Saturday evening with the discovery of a flying roach in the kitchen. Experience was ruined by Alondra’s rudeness, privacy violations, & the property's disrepair. We left the property clean & didn’t use beds. We strongly advise against booking this property. Will be reaching out to Vrbo.

Guest book 3 months ahead of time and then was upset when they tried to cancel a week prior which was non-refundable. Guest made no mention during their stay of any of their concerns. Only to voice these after vacating only trying to get a refund. Guest sent picture after the fact with a bug on a.wall that wasn't even the interior of our home. We have pest control preventative once a month and have never had any concerns or complaints with any of our guests in the past. There are two cameras on our property one in the front and one in the back which are disclosed. Our front door lock and our thermostat are also ran off of the Wi-Fi. Our home was beautifully remodeled inside and out with all brand new furnishings ,linens and appliances prior to listing .Our guests have raved about how clean comfortable and modern out home is. We wish you the best of luck with your endeavors in the future.
