Loved our stay! The home is honestly much larger than I thought it was going to be. We had more than enough space for our party of 4 adults and 2 kids. The back patio was lovely to sit outside and have dinner. We would absolutely stay here again if in the area.

We rented this a house for wedding guests , the downstairs layout is lovely. The stairs are a little steep for a really elderly crowd, which our guest managed to handle - this being an older house. Thank you

Our stay in Claryville was fantastic. The house was clean, spacious and charming. It was only a 15 minutes drive from the Frost Valley Children’s Camp and conveniently located between several hiking trails. We look forward to staying here in the future!

Nestled in the heart of the Catskills, the historic farmhouse exudes charm and beauty. Surrounded by majestic mountains and breathtaking scenery, each room is a perfect blend of comfort and character. From the cozy ambiance of the living spaces to the thoughtfully designed bedrooms, the farmhouse offers a delightful retreat that captures the essence of its historic charm amidst the stunning natural backdrop. A perfect gathering place for a weekend getaway or holiday, this Thanksgiving was extra special for my family. We all cooked in the open kitchen, laughed, and shared stories by the wood-burning fireplace. We can't wait to go back!

Jennifer, it was my true pleasure to have you and your family back this Thanksgiving holiday.
Ι truly appreciate your expressed thoughts and wonderful comments.
I am thrilled when my guests see the beauty of the house and build their own special moments.
It would be great to have you back anytime.
Irene,
The Tannery House hostess & owner
The house is unique- very old but with a really nice kitchen that would be a pleasure to cook in.
The stairs are "pre-existing, non-conforming" in that they are steep and narrow which was a little difficult for one member of our group.
The bedrooms had very comfortable beds- a little sparsely furnished with closets and beside tables but no dressers or mirrors.
Overall, we did like the house and found it warm and comfortable.
When the internet went down I was able to contact the owner but has to drive down the road as there is no cell service in the house- fairly common in the Catskills I was told. She was able to get it repaired very quickly
