About Bob's White Mountain Presidential Range Vacations
Family of six - now 'empty nesters'. Love the outdoors - family of hikers, climbers, x-country and downhill skiers. Had a great time as well at Santas Village, Clarks Trading Post (Bears) and many others including the water amusement park in the summer - 'Whale's Tale'
Bob's White Mountain Presidential Range Vacations purchased this House in 1992
Why Bob's White Mountain Presidential Range Vacations chose Bethlehem
Views are spectacular. We are a family of outdoors people. Love to ski Cannon and Loon, but moved over to Bretton Woods as the first son and later, triplets were born. Began slowly building in 1992. Finished the interior etc. around 2004. Linwood Homes of Vancouver provided the materials. Appliances were put in between 2003 and 2011. Flat screen 43' and 31' TVs are from 2013 and 2014. We had a 54' but it fell to the floor. Couches are from 2010 or newer, Most bedroom furnishings are newer as well. Three are newer double bed frames from IKEA, a large Queen (Not Ikea) with a firm Serta mattress and a bunk bed. All mattresses are newlike and tops in comfort. Very rarely used - moved overseas in 2004. We have a professional cleaning company to take care of the laundry, paper towels, toilet paper and cleaning of the interior of the rental. A local company plows and sands and makes sure there is a bucket with sand. We do not use salt. We can pay a person to meet with you on arrival and provide keys to access the premises. Originally planned on building a cabin heated by a wood stove overlooking the Presidential Range - but as the children arrived, our plans changed and an oil furnace with forced hot water was a wise choice. We recently installed another well (artesian) in the Summer of 2014. A new hot water heater, LG Side loading washer/dryer and filter system was added in 2012 or so. This is the perfect place to relax, enjoy the view and recharge the batteries.
What makes this House unique
Less than a spirited walk to the downtown of quaint Bethlehem. Relax and view the amazing Mt. Washington inside - take a leisurely stroll down the lane, go play golf in one of the many nearby golf courses, hike, ski downhill and cross country, snowmobile, swim in the Town seasonal pool, ice skate, roller blade, play basketball or tennis on very nice Town facilities and a whole lot more. Private - quiet but not secluded location. Ten minute drive to the main shopping areas of Littleton. Outlets 45-50 minutes (North Conway)

The view is spectacular!
Bob's home was a great place for the family vacation we had. There were 8 of us and there was more than enough space and comfort in the home. We spent most of our time in the house on the spacious first floor--sprawled out in the kitchen, dining room and living room. On the Saturday evening we were there, we had the most spectacular sunset view of the Mount Washington range. It was truly purple mountains majesty.
I would recommend Bob's home to any other family and we may visit again next winter for another family ski trip.
Winter ski get away
I truly enjoyed our stay, the views were breathtaking and the house was clean and well maintained. I would definitely rent again! Thank you for sharing your home!
Amazing Mt. Washington view!
Clean, warm and everything you need for a ski weekend at Bretton Woods. Four adults and five kids enjoyed a comfortable MLK weekend. The best part was waking up to the view.
We love those views too - with the huge windows you feel as if you are outside.
Bretton Woods is a great place for the young at heart. Cannon is only ten minutes and is quite a bit more fun with the big tram!
We would like to welcome you back.
Cozy home and beautiful views!
We had a nice stay here. Very warm and cozy and gorgeous views. The house was clean, the kitchen was well equipped, and the linens were all in great shape. It was a very quick and easy ride to the ski resorts and restaurants. Our only complaints are that the beds are very hard - just something to keep in mind if you have back issues or the like. And also, we had to shovel a path to the door when we arrived - however it had recently snowed and we did get in earlier than the stated check-in time, so perhaps it would have been done otherwise. Overall a great place to stay!
Thank you for staying with us Nicole. We love our place and think it is warm and cozy as well.
We paid the shoveler -person shoveled twice that weekend - once before you arrived. I guess it could be new snow but we trust you and the person that shoveled. Mattresses upstairs are new - 12 inches of new foam non heating type technology - I thought they were soft. We do have a firm mattress in the Queen bedrooom downstairs - I hope you tried all the beds first to see what you prefer.
Heard it was -30 C up there that weekend and other placesabove the Notch had frozen pipes. We made sure we had delivered another $500 worth of heating oil on 5 January because of the frigid temperatures - at a higher premium to ensure delivery. Some folks open the sliding door to outsideto air out the place- go figure!
It was very nice to have you and I am sorry you were uncomfortable on whatever bed you chose.
Best from all of us and to yours - a great 2018!
We shared this house over Columbus Day weekend with friends and our kids and the views were amazing. Six adults and three children had plenty of space, and the views from the main living spaces of the house and from the deck were amazing. We had a clear view of an expanse of trees displaying vivid colors, and layers of mountains as far as the eye could see. Staying in Bethlehem was a great home base to hike in different areas, including Franconia Notch and Crawford Notch. Nearby Catalano's Main Street Pizzeria and New York Style Deli was a surprise hit for take-out dinner food, although you could eat-in if you wanted. We also cooked a big breakfast one morning and the kitchen was stocked with everything you need if you choose to prepare all your meals in-house. We also had forgotten nightlights for the kids but found extras in the drawer, so we didn't have to leave a hall light on all night. I also lucked into finding some great trail running paths at the end of the road the house is situated on. Just follow the road until it ends at a trail, and follow the trail to a vast network of maintained snowmobile paths, they were perfect for running.
What a View!!!
We spent a week in the end of September that was unusually warm and enjoyed every minute. This a beautiful place to get some R&R. The view is amazing and the location is close to everything you might want to see and do. Bob was very receptive and a nice guy too. Try it, you'll like it!!
Whale's tale - Santa's Village, Clark's Trading Post, The Flume, Lost River, Mirror Lake at Cannon, and much much more are within reach of a short drive.
