The host was responsive to my call. However, the property was on a sloping hill and to walk from the parking area to front door without any handrails or steps was treacherous due to the freezing rain / ice on top of the snow pack. I suggest you wear crampons and have walking sticks if you plan renting in the winter months. The home has an amazing view of the Mt. Washington range! Upon arrival we found that coffee was still in the pot and crumbs on the toaster from the previous guests. The bathrooms and bedrooms were clean and neat. Overall, the house was warm and quiet, but could use some standard upgrades.

Welcome to Northern New Hampshire. Sorry about all the snow and ice. That is why I always tell people and provide information to them before they stay. I guess you never had a chance to read this material. I am aware you had some very arctic conditions with later rain and that’s why I keep barrels of sand with a salt mix to help. Unfortunately, some people like to get down the house very quickly and they go straight down. There is no pathway other than the access driveway. I’ll check with the snow removal company to see what went wrong, but I assume it was because of the unusual weather conditions. If you go through your inbox, you’ll see the information I am referring to. Thank you so much for staying with us and I’m sorry that you had a less than positive experience..

Perfect spot for access to hiking in Franconia Notch and relaxing with a beautiful view. The house had more than enough space for 8 adults to hang out. The picture windows were glorious. The kitchen was also stocked with plenty of pots and pans. Bethlehem was a quaint town. We also enjoyed the fishing/swimming hole that was recommended.

Nice spot with easy access too all the North Country has to offer.

We stayed to visit old friends and golf at Maplewood. The view is lovely and the deck makes it easy to relax. Access to all the area offers is simple and within minutes to Echo Lake, Bretton woods, Littleton, and Polly’s Pancake Parlor.The kitchen has all you need if you like to cook and there are multiple grills for use as well.

Thank you for your review. The location is perfect for a Presidential view or for going to get needed shopping done. It is a great place to relax outside on the deck or go hiking skiing or just about anything for outdoors activities. In the summer, the town has an outdoor pool that you can buy a daily pass on days that are too warm. Thank you again for staying here and loving the place as much as we do.

Amazing location!

Nestled on a quiet road, with an amazing view of the Presidential Range yet so close to everything just being a short drive. We loved sitting on the deck, enjoying the views and just listening to the wildlife without the noise pollution of cars going up and down the road.

Amazing Mt. Washington view!

Clean, warm and everything you need for a ski weekend at Bretton Woods. Four adults and five kids enjoyed a comfortable MLK weekend. The best part was waking up to the view.

Loved having you and your family for a 11 night stay. Great to speak with you on the phone and help you with the newer LG side loading washer/dryer. I wish I hadn't purchased something as fancy as an LG. In any event, always nice to hear everything was perfect and that your SIX CHILDREN got to see and experience wildlife in northern NH.

Beautiful Moyntain Stay

It was quiet, peaceful and everything we had wanted. We get up every morning and watched the sunrise which was spectacular!! The location was only minutes from town with quaint shops and a wonderful fine dining restaurant right up the road. I could not have asked for anything better!!

Great view!

Incredible view of the mountains! The house was pretty basic in terms of kitchen materials and one of the bedrooms on the lower level flooded because of melting snow outside but it didn’t bother us! Skiing and hiking close by and we had a nice relaxing weekend.

Great private ski weekend place in the mountains

My family really enjoyed a weekend in Bob's mountain home. The place had an amazing view of Mt Washington. We had plenty of room to spread out. The place is appropriately rustic for some relaxing time away from the city and was a close to Bretton Woods where we enjoyed two days of skiing. Bob responded to our inquiries and was helpful.

STUNNING LOCATION

It was a beautiful house and outstanding location. The view is phenomenal. Check in was very easy. You can sit on the deck and watch the sun come up. The two living rooms make this ideal for families. If you want peace and quiet and a view of Mount Washington this is the place to be. Owner very responsive.

Spectacular views!

A cozy mountain cabin with incredible mountain views! Conveniently located but tucked away from the world. Comfortable for our family of 7- 3 generations! We were in town for a family wedding at The Rocks and it was a good home away from home. The owner was very helpful and responsive! The views are amazing!

Love the outdoors - family of hikers, climbers, x-country and downhill skiers. Had a great time as well at Santas's Village, Clarks Trading Post (Bears) and many others including the water amusement park in the summer - "Whale's Tale"

Views are spectacular. 2" thick cedar home from Vancouver Canada compliment the rental with warmth and an open feeling concept.

Location is the center for all activities - whether skiing - snowboarding - zipping - climbing - cycling - swimming - hiking - view chasing - fly fishing - or going to Santa's Village - Story Land - Clark's Trading Post of live Bears, Whale's Tale swimming aquatic park - and many, many other fun places to go - including the Cog Railroad up Mt. Washington.

New kitchen appliances were put in 2020 - New refrigerator and oven/stove and over the stove microwave 2021
Flat screen 55” (2019) Smart TV, 31'”Flat (2014) and 42” 2014. We had a 54' but it fell to the floor. Couches upstairs are from 2022 and downstairs 2019. Most bedroom furnishings are newer as well, specifically the mattresses.

Three are newer double bed frames, a large Queen with a firm Serta mattress and a bunk bed. All mattresses are new like and tops in comfort.

A local landscaping company plows and sands the driveway if needed. We provide Home Depot buckets with a sand type mixture.
