Nice location

We loved the area of this house! Lots of wildlife and a view of the lake from the top deck. Kitchen had plenty of supplies and TVs were nice.

Very nice well kept great views

Beautiful property easy access. Owners were very attentive to our needs. I recommend this place we had 10 people and used an air mattress in addition to bedrooms with no problem

Fantastic place to stay!

Just an all around fantastic place to stay! Located in a gorgeous area, we lucked out with some beautiful fall weather. The property is great and the house is nice and cozy. We made great use of the deck, hot tub, and had a blast playing with the dogs! Patty was extremely responsive to any inquiries and provided me with tons of information about the area and things to do! Would definitely recommend staying here if you get the chance!

Canyon Lake

This house was not only gorgeous but the neighbors were also very friendly as well, which mad the trip that much more enjoyable. Very clean, very well kept, and plenty of space for our family. Very short travel distance from the lake and the lake is GORGEOUS! Also the views from the rooftop balcony was amazing, breath taking.

Loved Our Space!

Nice view

Overall it was nice and east. Great communication from the owner and flexible checkin or out times with permission. It even stopped raining long enough to enjoy the deck yesterday. For future renters, I just wanted to mention that no body wash, bath soap or shampoo is provided. Nor were there condiments, coffee or coffee filters. Of course none of those thing are required and there is a grocery store not far away, but for the sake of packing planning or shopping before your trip just prepare to bring your own. There are plenty of plates, cups, cooking utensils, etc. There was also firewood available.

Loved our Vacation!

We had an incredible weekend at Canyon Lake. The house was great. I loved the view of the ranch from the hot tub. Very romantic! The house is modern, clean, and well kept. The wifi and cable worked without a hitch. Even the a/c was great! It was so hot outside, but was very cool inside! Loved our vacation!

Perfect Getaway

Loved it! Spent 4 nights here and accommodations were perfect for our family of 5 - plenty of room, comfortable beds, and a well equipped kitchen. Quiet area with unbelievable views - spent every night in the hot tub looking at the stars!

Great place to celebrate!

Our group of four couples stayed at Ranch Retreat to celebrate our friends upcoming wedding. The location was great! There is a really nice grocery store just a few minutes away from the house. We saw so many deer each day. We hung out on the deck and grilled burgers one night, and finished our days in the amazing hot tub. It was a great place to celebrate our friends.

Peaceful Weekend

We had such a relxing and peaceful weekend at this home. I highly recommend it! There was plenty of space for everyone in our group of 8. We relaxed in the hot tub, grilled on the deck, and had such a great time laughing while chatting at night looking up at the stars. There was a great little grocery store nearby. This house was just want we all needed!

Charming Home

I would recommend Ranch Retreat to anyone. It is just such a charming home. It has extremely easy access off the main highway. The home is warm, welcoming, and beautiful. Each room is spacious, clean, and beautiful. A very inviting space awaits you and your guests as you enter. Patty and Craig's attention to detail and accommodating nature, assures you that you have everything you need as if it were your own home. They make available to you all the standard amenities like towels, fresh sheets, etc. but they also took great effort to stock even things that many hosts don't provide such as a crock pot, pancake griddle, and so much more in the kitchen. They were always available to answer any questions and were extremely responsive. You'll feel right at home with Patty and Craig. They set an example that should be followed by all hosts. It would be a mistake for you to pass up on this fine location!

Absolutely Stunning

We had an amazing time at Ranch Retreat. This was the perfect destination to celebrate our anniversary. Patty and Craig are amazing hosts, they make you feel like the most welcomed guests. They truly have thought of everything! We enjoyed our days just hanging out at the house. The drive to various excursions wasn't bad at all. Perfect

My 2 small dogs stayed with our family for two nights, and it is a great place to stay. Beautiful and peaceful location with wildlife galore! I had no problems or issues with absolutely anything while staying there and the owner was very nice easily accessible if needed. The House was very clean, spacious and comfortable with a beautiful view. I honestly couldn't have stayed at a better place! We already miss it!

Love This House

I love this house! This was our family's second time to stay at this home in Canyon Lake. Ranch Retreat is very spacious and clean. The master bedroom and bathroom are huge. The kids enjoyed watching the deer in the evenings. We all loved the hot tub. It was a great experience for all, and we plan to return soon! Patty and Craig, thank you for letting us stay in your lovely home.
