This is the Original Roamers Inn 1923-- the Inn where the infamous mobster Al Capone was known to spend his summers on the Hess Lake Northshore. Restored and renovated to combine the Gatsby 1920's style with an updated Michigan Lakehouse lifestyle-- it really is one of a kind!
Many activities are offered here in Newaygo. Besides enjoying this Lake front property, rather it be kayaking, paddle boarding, waterskiing, fishing or just taking a refreshing swim. We had a great time! The lake house fit our needs perfectly. It was well supplied. We had perfect weather, so that was the cherry on top! Hess Lake was a wonderful spot for fishing, swimming and boating. We'll be back!

Awesome lake house
This is a perfect spot on the lake with everything you need for a relaxing time! Host was very responsive and accommodating. House was very well updated and very clean. Our kids loved the yard space and kayaks/paddle boards!

First …communication with owners was instant. Amy questions were immediately addressed. House is gorgeous and all amenities you could ask for. The view is stunning ….pure waterfront heaven! Highly recommend!
