Don’t miss the opportunity to rent this newly expanded 5,000 sqft, 7 BR home in Croton, MI, just 40 miles north of Grand Rapids. This fantastic getaway sleeps up to 18 people in a spacious, open floor plan home, which offers beautiful water views, a fire pit, playground, volleyball net, outdoor AND indoor pickle ball, basketball, shuffleboard, ping pong, air hockey, 10 bikes, 5 kayaks, and a private waterfront pavilion. "Croton Pond" is a 1,380-acre body of water where you can enjoy fishing, bird-watching (bald eagles nesting along the river), and swimming. If interested in a boat rental during your stay, we have a 20 ft. Qwest Pontoon available for rent. For those interested in bringing their own watercraft, there is dock space available.
Eagles Landing sits on one acre, directly across from a private waterfront lot with 150 feet of frontage, (on a low bank), making it great for families. Our street is very slow and quiet...perfect for bike rides or family walks. Play yard games on our well-manicured (large) lawn, relax on the 16X20 covered deck (rain or shine), and barbeque with our gas grill for a vacation that's sure to make great memories. Inside, you'll find the resort is equipped with many comforts of home such as WiFi, central air, 5 flat-screen TVs with streaming capability, and a large sectional sofa with 4 recliners. Our fully supplied kitchen features a gas range with double ovens, a large table that seats 10, and a "theater-style" popcorn machine! For the coffee lovers we have a 12 cup drip coffee pot and a Keurig so bring your favorite pods. We also offer a wide variety of books to read and a closet loaded with family games to play. (Additional folding tables and chairs are available if requested).

The primary bedroom has a king-size bed, a walk-in closet, and a private bath with a large jacuzzi tub. Six additional bedrooms have two king-size beds, three twin beds, 4 queen-size beds, and a twin-over-full-size bunk bed. The second and third full baths contain a large shower and vanity. There are also 2 laundry rooms available and a work desk area in case you have any business to attend to during your stay. As a bonus, there's a 2500-square-foot temperature controlled garage, which makes it a perfect place for indoor pickleball, corn hole, or family hangouts. This garage also has its own half bath. You've got to see this property to believe it!

Amazing property, welcoming hosts!

From the indoor pickle ball court to the covered shuffle ball court to the ping pong and air hockey and multiple sitting areas with comfy furniture both inside and out, this was such a great place for our extended family to relax for a week. The beds are comfy and the rooms were perfect for our wide range of ages. And the kitchen was stocked (and labeled for ease of use)!

Great spot for our Memorial Day weekend

We really enjoyed our stay. The house was clean and exactly as pictured. We were traveling with eight children and the bedrooms were spacious enough for all the pack n plays we had to set up. There a ton to do with our older kids who especially enjoyed the shuffleboard court and play structures. The hosts were responsive to questions and very kind. Would definitely stay here again!

So much to do, so little time!

The house was huge and had more amenities than we had time to enjoy! Highly recommend renting the pontoon if you can, the lake is beautiful and very easy to navigate. Our hosts were super responsive and helpful during our stay- would definitely stay again!

We’ve stayed at this property three years in a row, and we are planning to return! The kitchen is well stocked and it’s easy to cook meals in during your stay. The young ones in our group appreciate the outdoor play set, popcorn machine, and the air hockey table. The grill, kayaks, fire pit, and ample space to spread out are also appreciated. It’s evident that the owners consider small details, but they also continue to add impressive touches year after year. Thank you for another great stay!

Wonderful house!!

We had a great time at Eagles Landing Resort. The house was enormous and was a perfect fit for our group of 10. Beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well equipped. Everything was clean and well cared for. The grounds are beautiful, and we loved the firepit. Renting the boat was great and we saw lots of birds including eagles. We also loved the pickle ball court and played many games. Dawn and Todd were friendly and very helpful. They always answered my questions promptly and made sure we were comfortable. We would definitely consider renting this home again!!

Playing games on Croton Pond

Our second time back. Todd was a great host. He lined the Pickleball court inside the garage for us which helped us play all week through the rain. I think we used every game, kayak and pontoon boat. We had two family reunions which came off fabulously on this property. The remodel of the house is fantastic! We had 15-17 people each day with 5-7 kids between 5-10 and it all worked well.

A Unicorn

We could not have been more happier with the Whole Setup! Directions to the property were clear and precise. The listing was exactly what was listed, but somehow exceeded our expectations. Everything was Showroom Beautiful. The owner welcomed us to the property within the first 15 minutes and invited us on their pontoon boat that evening to get the lay of the land. It was an excellent place for our Bachelorette Weekend, since most of us don’t drink. It far from downtown Grand Rapids where we went for a dinner on Saturday. Lakeview, sitting on the lake to relax and even kayaks to take out. We will be back and will recommend to friends!

ideal for groups seeking retreat

Our group included 3 adult leaders and 7 youth on retreat. The space had ideal space for whole group to gather, youth to have some "away time" from adults (with supervision) and spaces where individuals could have alone time. We were impressed that even if it were raining, there would be no shortage of activities for our group. Finally, THE STARS!! The host could not control this aspect but if you're lucky enough to have clear skies during your visit, the view of the stars is beyond measure.

We had 8 adults and 5 children with us during our stay and had plenty of room both inside the house and outside. There are plenty of extra details that were thought of such as a popcorn machine, kayaks, games, a grill, play equipment and a fire pit. The kitchen drawers and cupboards were labeled for easy access. The house was very clean and the hosts were available for any questions we had. We would stay again!

We rented Eagles Landing Resort for our annual family vacation. There are 13 of us....8 adult and 5 children from 4 months to 3 years old. This house was a great choice! The house is beautiful and there was plenty of room inside and out. It has the best stocked kitchen of any house I've ever rented! I also love that there is a large dining room table where we all could sit together. And, last but not least, the hosts are amazing! They are super nice and very helpful with any questions you might have. IMO, you can't go wrong renting this property!!

We are the Zondervans, and it is our pleasure to welcome you to Eagle's Landing Resort! Todd and I (Dawn) both grew up in West Michigan, and met in 1992 at WMU. We got married in 1994, and reside in Caledonia, Michigan, with our children, Connor, Cam, and Carly. Todd works in sales for a packaging company, and I am a speech-language pathologist. We both love our jobs, but have often been told that we have "a gift for hospitality" and have "dreamed" of starting our own vacation rental business. My grandparents had a cottage just up the street, where I spent many summers of my childhood and teenage years. In college, I was a camp counselor for Camp Roger, and took many campers on over-night canoe trips down the Little Muskegon River, and into Croton Pond where we would camp on the island near the Croton causeway. With all of my memories and time spent here, Croton has become quite nostalgic to me, and now my husband and children have grown to love it JUST about it as much I do!

We bought our own cottage on the water in the summer of 2017, and this property came up for sale (across the street) just a few months later. It seemed to be a great opportunity for us to finally make our dream a reality. We named it Eagles Landing Resort and have been renting to families, friends, and ministry groups for 6 years now. We give all credit to God for the incredible blessing this journey has been!
