Dog Friendly, 3 Bedroom Home in Kettle Cove on Sebago Lake Maine, Boat Access

Built in 2004, Lakeshore Landing is a beautiful 1800 sq ft lake house offering water views, knotty pine interior, cathedral ceilings.

Setup to entertain and sleep up to 10 with 3 bedrooms, 2 which feature bunk beds and a pull-out couch in the TV room.

Located on Sebago Lake on as small inlet in Kettle Cove, next to Sebago State Park. Our association is adjacent to the Point Sebago Resort and Golf Course. Enjoy water views out the back of the house or walk a few houses down our private road to the shared beach. A shallow, narrow water channel behind the house provides beautiful views and kayak access. The channel was just dredged in the fall of 2025 and the 2026 summer season will be the first time utilizing this newly dredged waterway. We are expecting guests to be able to utilize the dock behind the house in June, July and hopefully some or most of August as lake levels drop throughout the season. Please inquire if you plan to bring a boat and require dockage later in the season.

Launch your boat down the street from the house and enjoy 45 sq mile of the cleanest water you'll find. Shoot over to Frye's Island, park at the sand bar, or take a trip up the locks to Brandy Pond and Long Lake. Snowmobilers can utilize Casco's extensive trail network to get access to thousands of miles of snowmobile trails.

Enjoy High-Def Television, High-Speed Internet, Free WiFi and personal TV's in every bedroom at Lakeshore Landing. Watch the loons and ducks out back as you sit by the fire pit or stay inside and play a variety of games we have. Our hope is that we've thought of everything you would need and want! We have a golf cart and neighborhood dock (optional). Linens, towels, soaps and shampoo provided.

*New for 2026 Bookings*
The shallow waterway behind the house has recently been dredged to once again allow boat access and docking directly behind the house. We expect this channel to be navigable for either the full season or until mid to late August.

The house was beautiful! Everything was supplied. Ken said that he wanted to make it easier on everyone that stay there so we would only have to bring our clothes and our food. And he was 100% right! I highly recommend this place for a great vacation spot.

We just got back from a week here and it was exactly what we were hoping for. The place was spotless and even more beautiful in person than in the photos. The dock made the trip for us since we had a boat rented, and having a spot to tie up right there was a huge plus.Ken was an outstanding host. Quick to respond to anything we asked and he even brought us extra firewood, which we put to good use. We had a campfire every single night and the stargazing was incredible. If you're looking for a comfortable, low-key place to unplug in Maine, this is it. We'd stay here again in a heartbeat. Thanks, Ken

The property was great and Ken was an excellent host! Check in and out process was seemless and the host was more than communicative and helpful. Ken made sure that any questions were answered and items were available if needed (wood, trash help, k-cups, etc...). The property was clean and was able to handle 10 of us comfortably while the back dock was great for the kids to fish and kayak from. There is a small beach in the community which was also a hit with the kids. This was our first time to Sebago Lake and Ken made it all the more memorable. Would definitely reach out to Ken in the future if we were to be heading back to Sebago!

Well appointed property both inside and out. Great back yard for hours of cornhole and to finish the night by the fire making s’mores. Dock for our boat was a must and although it was not on the property the golf cart provided made it super convenient. Kettle cove is an excellent location for access to the lake as well as convenience to coves that shelter you from the wind. Kevin was on point. Very helpful and immediate response to any needs. Great place to stay. Great hosts. Will do again!

Good Times in Casco

Well appointed, updated home near Kettle Cove. The home itself is very clean and in great shape. It is well stocked with everything needed for a fun vacation. A Dock was a short walk or golf cart ride from this lovely home and I was able to dock my 22 ft pontoon boat. There was a beach there as well. The back yard is large and there is a fantastic Solo fire pit that was a huge hit with the family! The s’mores provided by the owner didn’t hurt either. The home accommodated at one point 6 adults and an infant with ease. Highly recommend and very likely to return!!

Great home for vacationing in the area.

The house manager was very responsive to our needs. The home was very clean and looked brand new. The grounds were well maintained and had ample parking and the dock behind the property provided solitude. It was a very peaceful area. Incredibly we experienced very few mosquitos. The only drawback was the beach area; boats were coming and going next to the swimming area which poised a safety concern because it was not entirely roped off. This could be resolved by extending the swim area to include the right side of the dock. Adding a second picnic table would also help. We used the home primarily for visiting/enjoying the events in the area and going to sebago lake park.

met expectations

pleased with the house and accomodations. # of beds good for 6 people with some adjustments based on ages and gender. Kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans, dishes, glassware and utensils. Ample trash and recycle bins although it did require up and down stairs. central area turned out to be the kitchen but that worked our fine with table and chairs for 6. Beach area was not great but was as pictured. Some of us were older or not flexible enough to use the kayak, but some of that was due to the weather. Loved the # of tv's in the house. Also was close to route 302 which is convenient

Nice house but NOT on the lake

This house is located on a dirt road looking at a small (you could throw a stone across it) finger of the lake. When we stayed in early August the narrow span of water was filled solid with cattails. Yes, I should have done better research but the impression I got from the posting was "house on the lake." I did not enjoy the set up of walking down the road to sit in a cramped area of docks. The house is very new and in excellent condition with a terrific open floor-plan kitchen. Bedroom are very cramped and none have adequate drawer space for a couple sharing a room.

I'm sorry if the house or property didn't meet this guest's expectations. We've had nothing but positive feedback and we were very disappointed in learning that she was not satisfied with our property. It was the first such feedback we had received. We are committed to ensuring a positive experience for our guests. I had tried to reach this guest via both phone and email several times between the online booking and visit and had never received a response. I'm sure if we had the chance to discuss this guest's wants and expectations for a particular vacation home, we may have found they should have rented a waterfront property with swimming in the rear of the house in your particular case. Of course those properties come at a higher rental rate. Upon arrival we were notified by this guest of another property they had access to stay at in the area that week free of charge and we were threatened a negative review if we did not issue a full refund. We did offer a partial refund which was refused. We encourage all potential guests to ask us any questions you may have prior to your booking. If our property is not suitable for you an your family we will gladly A) Try to accommodate your needs to the best of our efforts or B) Suggest other properties that may be a better fit.

Sebago Lake House Review 18JUL2025

Rating: (4/5)Our group of 10 had a good stay overall at this property and appreciated many of the thoughtful touches — especially the baby gear (highchair, gates, pack 'n play), the location, outdoor seating area, firepit, grill, golf cart, and dock. The host was also very responsive, which we truly appreciated. That said, a few things kept it from being a full 5-star experience for us. We had some difficulty checking in due to the door code being sent through the VRBO app (which we couldn’t access easily until inside to get the WiFi access.) This area has challenging Verizon coverage. Some of the beds, especially the futon-style lower bunks, were uncomfortable for adults, which affected our stay. The AC was very cold on the lower level but struggled upstairs on hot days. During our stay the beach area was not well maintained, so we ended up not using it. We also ran low on basic supplies like toilet paper and paper towels midweek with our group of 10.Overall, the home has great potential and many positives — with a few improvements, it could be a top-tier rental.

We had a great stay at the Casco property! Host even left gift cards so we could try local establishments. Clean and well kept home. Yard equipped with chairs, games, and a fire-pit that kids and adults equally enjoyed. Fun kayaking through the tall grasses with lovely wildlife! Peaceful. Would highly recommend! (We slept ten people (6 adults & 4 kids), and we just fit!)

Nice property

It was a charming house and fairly new, everything was clean and well maintained. The golf cart was a hit with the children, but the lake was only a few hundred yards from the house so it was a short walk. It was nice having the cold Air conditioning during the muggy parts of the day.

The property was very well maintained inside and out. Very clean and well kept. Totally quiet and comfortable and then your minutes away from the water and the fun of the boats and the sandbar. Great place and would definitly stay again!

Amazing Sebago Lake Rental with all the ammenities

My husband and I have an amazing time with friends staying here. Rare to stay at such a nice (and clean) rental property with so many amenities (AC & WIFI!!!) and still convenient whether you want to hang at the beach or go out! We made good use out of the deck, backyard and fire pit. Loved it and can't wait to go back!

Ken and Candice live in Boston's North Shore. We work in the real estate and property management industry and enjoy spending our free time on Sebago Lake. We love spending time on the lake, boating and visiting Sebago's restaurants.

この宿泊施設のオーナーになった理由

After exploring numerous properties along various bodies of water throughout Maine and New Hampshire, we honed our search to the amazing Sebago Lake. This decision was influenced by its pristine condition, expansive size, convenient proximity to our Massachusetts home, and the vibrant, year-round entertainment opportunities the Sebago area offers.

この宿泊施設の特徴

The house features large windows on the main floor, providing a peaceful view of the Sbeago waterway surrounding nature. It's a quiet corner of the world where the simple joys of nature, like the sight of ducks and loons, can be appreciated in peace. Here, the hustle of daily life seems to fade away, offering a tranquil retreat for reflection and relaxation.
