PEI oceanfront cottage within 25 minutes of Charlottetown and golfing

(License # 4001035) Whether you are looking for a place to escape and relax, or you're looking for a family friendly vacation destination, this ocean side cottage is the perfect place for you!

This cottage has been in my family for generations and it has been a host for countless moments of laughter, joy and leisure. Now we would like to share it with you!. Spend your time relaxing on the deck (covered or uncovered) to watch the seals frolic in the water or take in the sun as it sets over the horizon. At night, cozy up around the fire pit and enjoy the cool summer air. If you're looking to spend time at the beach, access is only a short walk way and no need to worry about mess when you return, thanks to our outdoor shower. This is a great beach for children to explore tide pools when the tide is out and you can also walk over to Inman Park. Inside you will find accommodation for seven people, a full bath/shower and a newly redone, fully appointed kitchen with a dishwasher (no need to waste time washing dishes on vacation!)

Great stay at Canoe Cove, the pics do not do it justice. Absolutely gorgeous. Marlene was an excellent host that communicated with us though out our stay and provided us with clear instructions. We are planning on returning one year again and hope this home is still available.

The location of this cottage is stunning. Beautiful view of the water. Low tide is so fun to explore. We found many starfish and crabs. The seals are fun to watch too!Since we had cooler temps, the lack of air conditioning was not an issue for us but something to be aware of. Overall, we had a great time in PEI and this cottage was a perfect place for our family to stay.

Amazing cozy cottage

Wonderful spot. Quiet and beautiful beach - when tide is low you can walk for miles. Lots of seals in the cove . Cottage spotless and well equipped. Will definitely return ❤️

Relaxing stay with picturesque views

Clean cottage with a great sea view of the Northumberland Straight. At low tide we had access to the sea floor/beach, one cottage over. The property is approximately 30 minutes from Charlottetown so transportation is necessary. Great location if you are looking to get away from city commotion.

Charming cottage with a fabulous view. Loved watching the seals bob around in front of us. There was everything we could possibly need. Getting around was easy. Only half hour from Charlottetown. The host Marlene was great! Thanks for sharing your lovely cottage with us!

Wonderful Experience

My friend and I thoroughly enjoyed our 3 night stay. Canoe Cove is absolutely stunning! We spent hours walking on the sand bars in the beautiful warm water (take note of the low tide schedule), taking in the marine life - from the seals and porpoises, to the hermit crabs and herons. The cottage itself was clean, spacious and had everything we needed. We would definitely return!

PEI Picture Perfect Paradise

The location of this cottage is amazing. You are right on the cove. Beautiful views! Low tide allowed us to explore. There was so much marine life! Our favorite, of course, were the seals. Canoe Cove is the perfect location to have some privacy but easily drivable to tourist spots. Check in and communication with the host was easy. Highly recommend!

Golf trip

We stayed at this beautiful cottage for 4 nights for our golf trip, it really was the perfect cottage for us, had everything we needed lots of space the covered porch is a beautiful thing we sat there for hrs watching seals, bald eagles lots of wildlife watch was cool, yard was great for some games during the afternoon, this place has everything you need, also very neat when the tide goes out we must have walked a KM out on the sand. Loved it highly recommended!

Wonderful Stay at Canoe Cove

When we walked into the cottage we knew we had chosen the right place. Beautiful, really well-stocked kitchen with all the accessories, large living room with comfy eclectic furniture with room for the little ones to play. The bedrooms were a good size with comfortable beds. The bathroom was clean and had an amazing water flow in the shower. Speaking of showers, the outdoor shower was amazing for beach rinsing - with hot water! And the view - unbelievable! Easy beach access and when the tide is out, amazing exploration possibilities. The only negatives were; not enough lighting in the bedrooms; closets a bit musty-smelling, and wispy curtains allowed for early morning light. But overall an incredible holiday at this cottage. Definitely recommended!

Thank you for your thoughtful review, Helen. I will install brighter light bulbs in the bedrooms and put new damp rid absorbers in the closets. It has been an unusually humid summer. I will be looking for curtains that will filter the early morning light, but still allow ocean breezes to flow. My plan for the future is to install ceiling lights with fans in the bedrooms when drop ceiling is removed. I am thrilled that my property met your expectations and you were able to spend time with your family. And, there is now a rolling pin! Enjoy the rest of your summer. Marlene

Tres bel emplacement, suberbe vue.

La cuisine est tres bien équipée les aires ouvertes sont bien decorees et confortables. Nous avons observé a tous les jours des loups marins. Quand la maree etait basse nous nous sommea baigné dans la mer. Nous avons visite la ferme lavande et avons ete a pluaieurs endrois touristiques. Le chalet est bien situé. Merci

My family has enjoyed this cottage area for many years. It is a great place to enjoy tide pools with the kids and see starfish and hermit crabs in their natural habitat. I want to share this experience with other families. My children still talk about all the great times that we had when they were growing up. Come and experience it for you and your family!

What makes this property unique

There is a serenity that overcomes you when you are relaxing on the deck or on the beach. When the tide is out, you can walk over to Inman park with your children after exploring the tide pools. The town of Cornwall is just minutes away where there is a grocery store, liquor store, bakery, gas and pharmacies.
