If you are looking for a unique and memorable experience, you will love staying in Rembrandt’s room, set in a XVII century mansion.

Your room has one embedded bed and 2 individual beds in one frame.

The house has been carefully restored to preserve its original charm and elegance, while offering modern amenities and comfort. You will enjoy the spacious and cozy atmosphere, the lovely furniture and paintings, the hardwood floors and the fireplace.

Please note: This is a shared experience, meaning that you will share some amenities with other guests as the bathroom and common areas.

You have access to the fridge, a TV and Wi-Fi. You will enjoy the beautiful garden, the living rooms, and the dining room, where you will occasionally also taste delicious dishes prepared with local ingredients in our popup restaurant.

Great atmosphere in an historic mansion

If you are looking for a memorable stay in a quiet town near Amsterdam this place if for you. Lovely staff and beautiful surroundings at this bed and breakfast. My husband and I stayed with our son and daughter in the four person room.

Schöne Unterkunft mit einigen versteckten Überraschungen

Die Unterkunft ist wie auf den Bilder wirklich schön eingerichtet. Leider gab es einige Dinge, die vorher nicht klar waren. Es gibt in dem Haus 5 Schlafräume, davon eine suite. Sie hat ein eigenes Bad. Die restlichen 4 Schlafräume teilen sich ein Gemeinschaftsbad. Die staff benutzt das Gemeinschaftsbad auch. Die Küche und Wohnzimmer müssen sich alle teilen. Dabei ist anzubringen, dass man dort nicht auf dem Herd kochen darf. Außerdem ist es relativ kalt und es gibt keine Heizungen, aber eine Klimaanlage und die Fenster sind ziemlich dünn und somit geräuschdurchlässig. Deshalb ist es selbst im Sommer relativ frisch. Das Frühstück ist okay. Wichtig zu wissen ist, dass man zeitig da sein muss, damit man genug essen kann. Das hat uns die staff selbst so geraten. Unser Check in war erst am Tag nachdem wir angereist sind. Dazu kam, dass die Unterkunft auf vielen Websites buchbar ist, sodass es Buchungsprobleme am ersten Tag gab und wir am nächsten Tag nochmal in ein anderes Zimmer umziehen mussten. Wir haben die geänderten Frühstückzeiten und die Regelung, dass wir den Herd nicht benutzen können von freundlichen Mitbewohnern am Anreisetag erfahren. Ansonsten hätten wir gekocht und hätten Strafe (ca.150€)zahlen müssen. Wichtig ist noch zu wissen, dass die Küche sowie der Flur videoüberwacht ist. Das Rembrandt-Zimmer hatte zwar einen Tisch, aber kein Stuhl. Wir hätten uns noch einen Mülleimer gewünscht und funktionierende Jalousien. Die staff war hilfsbereit & freundlich.

Fuimos un grupo de 4 amigas y tuvimos problemas con la llegada y Jeffrey estuvo pendiente hasta que llegamos. Ana nos preparó delicioso desayuno (incluido). Lo único que sentimos incómodo fué compartir el baño.

Courte visite d'Amsterdam

Nous avons passé un très bon moment dans ce logement. Nous avons pu visiter Amsterdam sereinement. Nous conseillons de prendre la voiture jusqu'au parking à l'entrée d'Amsterdam nord puis prendre le métro M52. Ce dernier en 8min permet d'être au centre de la ville. Le logement était idéal. L'intendant nous a convenablement reçu et aidé. Seul bémol chambre un peu froide (passage fin octobre) mais cela est compréhensible vu l'année de construction du manoir (1695). Nous conseillons ce logement pour un court séjour aux Pays Bas.

We are a group of entrepreneurs that found this amazing XVII century mansion and saw all the potential that has to offer to visitors, both local and international.

What makes this property unique

Built as a country side house by a rich family in 1695, later it was sold and converted in an orphanage around 80 years later.

Starting the XX century the orphanage stopped and the house was abandoned until the 1990's when the current owner bought it, refurbished it and lived for 25 years.

Now we are using the mansion to give a unique experience to specials guests: YOU!
