Lovely spot

Was a darling town with lots of activity! Good restaurants. It was an excessive heatwave so the rooms were very warm but three fans helped. Comfy spot otherwise.

Charming, vintage, spacious with lots of homey touches. A lovely surprise of delicious wine and water along with special treats greeted us. It was most welcome after a long journey. The location couldn't have been better with easy free parking. Everything you need is right here!

Beautiful place

This is a picture perfect flat in the heart of the city. It is definitely a very old building, so if you have sensitive allergies you may want to be aware of that.

Charming apartment!

We loved Le Toupine apartment!! Very comfortable and spacious with many thoughtful touches. There was much good information provided by the owner in her letter and in notebook provided in apartment. We want to go back and stay there again!!!

Wonderful apartment in a perfect location

This apartment is light and airy. It has a great floor plan and is very well stocked, including a washer and a dryer (which is nearly unheard of!). The kitchen has everything you need complete with a dishwasher. The Wi-Fi is fast. The host (Alice) was great about answering our questions in a very timely manner. While we had cycled through Lourmarin on past trips, we had never stayed there. It is a wonderful village with a lively center area and the apartment is just a few steps away. We had a wonderful dinner at Gaby’s Cafe though we also enjoyed dinner in the apartment. The only hiccup was we thought the picture of a door she sent us was the door from the street!

Excellent séjour

Appartement coquet, décoré avec goût et très bien situé. Le parking, à proximité, avec toujours des places libres, est un vrai plus! Nous avons beaucoup apprécié notre petit séjour à Lourmarin et recommandons cette location!

Très bel appartement en plein centre ville

Très bien placé, en plein centre ville de Lourmarin, joli appartement, décoré avec goût, très fonctionnel, tout est bien pensé,jusqu’au petit panier d’accueil permettant de prendre l’apéritif avant même de faire quelques courses, ce qui est très agréable ! Merci à la propriétaire, nous reviendrons c’est sûr !

Très bel appartement dans un merveilleux village

L'appartement est charmant et idéalement situé, en plein coeur de Lourmarin, à deux pas du marché et des restaurants. Il est décoré avec goût et très bien équipé. Les indications de notre hôte pour notre arrivée nous ont été utiles, et nous avons apprécié le panier de bienvenue. Nous reviendrons avec plaisir. Merci Alice !

Beautiful apartment in a gorgeous town.

We were very happy with our stay here. The apartment is bright and airy. Has just about anything you need. Lourmarin is a great base for visiting the Luberon towns. Just picture perfect streets and friendly people. I highly recommend!

Magical apartment in a magical village

La Toupine is a charming apartment in a perfect location. Easy walking to everything in the village and Lourmarin is a wonderful location for many day trips (hiking, sightseeing, etc). This was our 4th trip to Lourmarin and our favorite place to stay! The apartment was exactly as it looks on-line and very clean and comfortable with fantastic light from above the rooftops. Gilberte and Alice were helpful and all the directions for finding La Toupine were clear. So nice to be able to check-in on our own and start vacation tout de suite! We loved our week-long stay and were so sad to leave! Looking forward to our next stay at the Toupine already! Merci à Gilberte et Alice!! A la prochaine.

Lovely apartment right in the heart of Lourmarin!

We stayed for a week to enjoy Lourmarin and the surrounding villages of the Luberon region. This apartment is quiet and peaceful and cozy and everything we were looking for in a home base. It's truly in the heart of the village. A great spot to enjoy in its own right. Alice was a lovely host, sent us all the information we needed before we landed, and was understanding when a rental car snag caused us to arrive later than expected. Overall, a great experience. I'd recommend it!

Beautiful apartment in wonderful village!

I loved this apartment from the moment we opened the door. It’s absolutely charming and well appointed. Thoughtful touches all throughout like multiple thick/nice towels, coffee, tea, and even snacks. Lourmarin is a wonderful village and after visiting the many gorgeous ones in the area I was so happy I picked Lourmarin to stay in as my base. It’s small but full of liveliness and a real sense of community.

Absolutely the best!

We just returned from a multi-week trip to France and stayed in a number of HomeAway flats. This apartment in Lourmarin is really an incredible spot and by far our most favorite accommodation. The hosts really go above and beyond to make their guests feel welcome. The small touches were really appreciated. You can feel the pride of ownership. The apartment is well equipped, clean, cozy and super beautiful. The town is charming and fun to explore. We went to the Friday market which was one of the highlights. It was hard to leave such a beautiful place. Thanks for making our stay so wonderful! If I could give 10 stars I would - great job.

Very charming, thoughtfully presented apartment.

A delightful stay in Lourmarin. Great location for visiting other small villages and local walks. Large interesting market twice a week. Apartment warm and comfortable despite the Mistral which blew for about 3 days in April. Nice views of rooftops nearby. Plenty of light. Lots of thoughtful extras such as welcoming wine and spreads. Local calissons. Locally made china and pottery in the cupboards. The two flights of stairs may be a challenge for some. Gilberte was very helpful and a pleasure to meet.

Perfect place in Lourmarin

This is a perfect apartment for a couple staying in Lourmarin. It is in a wonderful old building, but has been updated to be fully modern. It is very spacious, with 2 large bedrooms, a super-large bathroom, and living area and full kitchen. All appliances are new and of the best quality. WiFi and flat screen TV. It is very light and airy. It is also within yards of the main plaza with all the restaurants and cafes. It has free parking just steps from the apartment and there are always spaces. The owner, Gilberte, is so friendly and welcoming, and we felt she became a friend during our stay. I recommend this apartment very highly, and we hope to return in years to come!

Lovely, clean, typically old French building with abundant natural light.

It was a pleasure to stay in Gilberte's charming apartment in Lourmarin. Very comfortable with more space than we imagined, we are certain that we will return soon! This apartment is in the center of a beautiful Provençale town with excellent restaurants, interesting shops and easy parking. I enjoyed a rosé with Gilberte at Café Gaby, très agréable! We are already looking forward to the next visit.

Gilberte and Alice are a mother daughter couple, thrilled to offer this charming village apartment for the first time to everyone seeking the true and authentic Provençal experience.

Gilberte has been living in Lourmarin for over 30 years. Born in Lyon, she was drown by the beauty and peacefulness of Provence. She first owned a small boutique in the village's heart where she was one of the first vendor to introduce the beloved l'Occitane products. She is now the proud owner of one of the oldest real estate agency in the village, and has been working in the real estate business for more than 20 years in the beautiful Luberon region.

Gilberte loves to entertain, and take care of her clients. Every person that comes through her agency enters as a customer and leaves as a friend.

Alice has been living in the San Francisco Bay Area for 4 years. She grew up in Lourmarin, where she went to the tiny village's pre-school, and Aix en Provence, where she attended all of her junior high and high school. After graduating with the bac, she moved to San Francisco to pursue a Bachelor degree.

Alice loves Provence, and is always so thrilled to talk about her beautiful place of origin to everyone she meets. Alice true love though is her cute little dog Harry.
