This 'Home Away From Home' style house has been updated throughout and offers a cozy, family and pet friendly space to settle in for the Oregon Coast getaway you've been waiting for. Stocked with linens, kitchenware, furniture, and entertainment- all you need is your overnight bag!

Located near the new Pelican Brewery that will be complete in 2022, at the South end of Lincoln City, this vacation home provides easy access to both the central beaches of town and those of the Siletz Bay. A short 5-10 minutes further South on 101 will have you in the heart of Depot Bay. A drive to the Northern end of town takes an easy 15 minutes where you can try your luck at the casino or schedule a round of golf. Don't forget- Lincoln City is also home to many great restaurants, food carts, shopping, theaters, bars/taverns, hotels, and more!

Great for a private couple's getaway or a large family gathering, there are a variety of sleeping areas to rest at the day's end. Downstairs there are queen beds in the bedrooms. Sandwiching the large gourmet kitchen are two separate family/living room spaces with TVs and plenty of room to spread out. The remodeled main bathroom has double sinks, toilet, soaking tub and shower on the main floor. Upstairs there are 2 bedrooms, both with queen beds. The 2nd bathroom is also upstairs with a sink, toilet and shower.

Did we mention the kitchen?! This kitchen is often reported as the highlight of the home. It is large, central, and updated. Family and friends have cooked, played games, and even danced in this kitchen over the years. Stainless steel throughout, hardwoods, 2 sinks, bar seating-- it's a cook's dream!

Nicknamed 'The Landing', this Pacific Coast charmer boasts an incredible bay view and access from a raised 'Landing' area in the backyard. Sitting up here with a group of friends or alone with a book provides the perfect Oregon Coast ambiance. A few steps down the other side will have your toes in the sands of Siletz Bay. Great for quiet walks, bonfires, and a place to let the dogs run!

Speaking of dogs- Yes! We're pet friendly. There's plenty of room for the pets to cozy up next to one of the 2 fireplaces, or follow you around in the large kitchen as you make the family dinner. The backyard is fully fenced, allowing your furry friends to enjoy the covered back patio, the gas grill, and the stone fire-pit along with the rest of the guests. Please inquire about pet fees when making your reservation.

This was a great home base for our trip. Plenty of room for private spaces as well as spaces for hanging out together. The fenced yard was great for the dogs and the bay view deck area and hot tub were inviting amenities. It also had a well stocked kitchen with eat at kitchen counter that came in handy. Walking distance to the bay and short drives to eateries made this ideal.

Great vacation house

We love this place, good for the adults in our party, wirh the nice bar with a view, good for the kids, close to beach. Great for me because there was a well stalked kitchen. I do all the cooking for the family on our vacations. The host was quick to get back to us when we asked a question. All around great vacation was had by all. We would rent again.

Perfect vacation rental for a family

We truly enjoyed our stay at The Landing. The house was in a quiet location with access to the bay and the beach nearby. The house had plenty of room for our family of 6 and 2 dogs to spread out and relax. The location is close to almost anything one would like to do. We would definitely recommend this place to other families.

Sue was a great host! She was always available to answer any questions I had. The property is wonderful. Everything you might need for your stay is there. The beds were comfortable and there is plenty of room to spread out. Lots of outdoor seating in a private backyard. The kitchen has great appliances and loads of space. The location is on a very quiet street and has easy access to a children's playground and the beach. I highly recommend "The Landing"!

We enjoyed our stay at this lovingly updated home very much. We were 6 adults with a 5 mo baby and two small dogs celebrating the 30th birthday of our daughter. Separate bedrooms with comfortable beds. Spacious and well-equipped kitchen. The fenced yard was great for our dogs. Enjoyed the outside upper deck eating area with bay views during the day, and the fire pit at night. Morning walks with the dogs to the beach and low tide mud flats were a nice way to start the day. Saw an osprey and bald eagle. As recommended by Sue, we had a great time at Fogarty Beach State Park -- 11 minutes by car. Would be glad to stay another time.

This property was perfect for our needs as a three generation family group. This is an older house with a well done renovation and addition that provided ample space for together time and private spaces for quiet alone time. The kitchen is centered between the original house and the addition. It is a well designed for group cooking and equipped with just about every thing a chef would need, there was even the makings for S’mores! There was a fenced yard and nice defined spaces for outside time. While a view of the water was limited it was an easy walk to the beach on the bay and a quick drive to an ocean beach. The owner provided good information about places to go and favorite places. Our family enjoyed our time there and would recommend this property without hesitation.

Loved the house, it was a great amount of space for our family nicely decorated.. Super cute raised area out side with table and chairs with neat little serving bar and view of the bay. The owner has coffee pods and a smores package with roasting stick for the fire pit. Lots of kithchen wares. Towels and slippers for the hottub. Plenty of towles for the bathrooms, and lots of hot water. Our only complaint would be the beds and upstairs floor were very squeaky, and the neighbors dog was a little barky. We would Definitely stay again.

Great family trip

Everything was as advertised. The house was great and the owner was great to work with. The house has lots of room, my party of 7 was never crowded, always comfortable. Good updates to the house, comfortable beds. The owners have done a lot of the little extras to make this house stand out from other houses we have used in the past. Great location right on the bay and only a 5 minute drive to the ocean beach, and walking distance to Pelican Brewing. The back yard has 2 different seating areas and both are great, you can sit with and watch the tide come in or out, or sit around the fire pit. The kitchen is huge and has everything you need and it’s well stocked with extras. It’s obvious that the owners care about their home and want your stay to be great. I appreciated the attention to detail, it’s what makes all the difference. We would love to come back in the future.

7 adults and two dogs stayed at this home in the Cutler City area of Lincoln City. We really enjoyed staying here, the beds were super comfy. Linens were plentiful, even had beach towels for us to use with the brand new hot tub that was nice and hot. Was really nice to have a large fenced yard so we could let the dogs run around a bit and not have to worry about them. The kitchen was huge and stocked with every appliance you could ever need. You can’t see the Siletz Bay from inside the house but there was a new deck in the upper part of the back yard with nice seating and view of the bay. Had our morning coffee out there . We would definitely rent this house again. Thank you to the great host , Sue.

Property was super! AMAZING outdoor spaces -- one with a view of the water and bald eagles! Hot tub was so clean and lovely and the lighting around it was so sweet! Home was clean and very well stocked. Kitchen was large and best selection of household items of any rental we have stayed in! Games and books galore too! Having two separate seating areas with couches and ample dining room table spaces was really great as well. And super friendly neighbor who provided firewood for smores when we realized we didn't have enough. Oh, and great communication from owner prior to trip! Highly recommend this rental!

Beautiful Property

We had a wonderful vacation in Lincoln City. The property was very clean and ready for us when we arrived. The backyard was beautiful and we enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub! The kitchen was just as described. It was big so we could have several people helping with meals, and it was well stocked! I would definitely recommend this property and would stay here again when we come back to the Oregon coast!

Beautiful Home

This was a wonderful home with a great backyard and perfect family kitchen. Lots of room for people to stand around and talk, cook, and laugh. The home owner is so kind and a beautiful soul. Dog friendly home and we so appreciated that. The bay is one house away and it's gorgeous. The only downside was the neighbor lady behind the house. When we arrived she walked over and did tell us if we needed something to tell her but for some reason she gave off a negative feeling and didn't smile and wasn't welcoming. We made a big mistake and we were loud one night as my husband is hard of hearing and was talking loud my son is used to it and it didn't dawn on him it was loud. We did break rules and she did yell at my husband and I do agree with her there. We felt bad. Where we did have an issue is from the moment we arrived every time we went outside she would go outside and watch us. Every single time... It was very off putting. It's a low fence there and we couldn't get away from it. She also reported to the owner we had more people staying there than we did and more dogs... We only had the two. She also told the owners we had hung up one of the sheets in the house outside.. we brought a canvas from home for an outside movie projection for our grandchildren. My husband did leave it up just a little longer though so he could get some privacy while sitting on the back porch. As this was his birthday weekend he was a little sad and disappointed that he couldn't have some outside time where he felt peace and relaxation. This may not be everyone's experience but felt like maybe it was because of his race she had an issue. I don't know but it took away from what an amazing house, owner, and location this house is in.

Nice place to stay!

A group of 6 of us stayed here for a little getaway and for the most part it was great! The location was perfect, the property owner, Sue, was very easy to get ahold of and responded quickly. Unfortunately the prior guests had apparently left the house quite a mess, so there were a few things that were overlooked during the cleaning process before our arrival, but they were minor issues that did not prevent is from enjoying our stay. The house is very cute with a lovely back yard setting and a perfect layout for our little group. I would definitely stay here again!

I am retired after more than 30 years in education and have lived in Lake Oswego for the past 30 years. I purchased this house in Lincoln City over 20 years ago and have enjoyed many times with my own family and friends over the years. The recent decision to convert the home into a vacation rental has proven a success and I just hope all my guests can enjoy the home as much as I have over the years.

Why they chose this property

A native Oregonian, I fell in love with the Oregon Coast at a young age and always imagined having a 2nd home of my own at the coast for my family to enjoy. This dream was realized back in 2000 and Lincoln City was the perfect location for us. A moderate sized coastal town has provided many activities for us over the years... and the south end of town, near the house, is as quiet as any one of the smaller towns on the coast. It's the best of both worlds.

What makes this property unique

The house is in a perfect location with water access, a great yard and a very 'cozy' feel. It is clean, updated and well decorated, and cozy warm. Minutes to grocery stores, Restaurants, Cinemas, the Salishan Resort, the famous 'Mo's'. Also, a new addition to the neighborhood in 2022 will the the Pelican Brewery, in walking distance from the house! You will feel like you're in the heart of the action one minute, and then in your own private retreat when you pull into the driveway. It has been our home-away-from-home over the past 20 years and I hope our guests feel the same way.
