Much needed break!

Although the property was under construction, it wasn’t an imposition as Ocean Reef was very accommodating. Hotel has wonderful indoor and outdoor pool areas and very close to beach!

The view was great and the indoor and outdoor pools and hot tubs were great. The only downside was the lazy river wasn't very lazy (there was no current) and the outdoor water slide was shutdown. The upside was that we were able to use the pool at the resort next door and their lazy river was functional.Elevators were responsive with little wait time, parking was convenient and abundant this time of year. The scent in the lobby was amazing! I wish I could figure out what they used, it was pleasant but not overwhelming.The arcade was a nice bonus too.My only complaint was that there was no easily accessible trash room to dump our trash bags during our stay. Over all experience was great and we enjoyed our Fall family getaway.

The suite was perfect but the resort is under construction. The floor we stayed on was in horrible condition with all the construction going. It affected my allergies badly. I would pick this suite again but only after all the construction is done

We enjoyed our stay in 518 at Oceanreef. The room was clean and the furnishings were great. Our beds were comfortable and pillows as well. Ocean reef has a lot for the kids to do. It is also convenient. I especially liked the fact that there was NO carpet in the room. The room had everything we needed in the kitchen we needed to cook breakfast. We will Definitely will return

Extending summer vacay

The actual condo was great. Exactly what we needed. Spacious, clean, and had everything. As far as the actual property they could use some serious upgrading or at least some new carpets and fresh paint. Everyone who worked there was extremely nice and helpful. Location was Perfect. Everything you could need is just a few steps or a short drive away. This condo was the perfect accommodation for what we needed to get a long weekend away to extend our summer. Would recommend to anyone with small kids looking for an easy get away.

The looking and unlocking of the entrance was challenging. And having to make sure wristband and parking passing were placed back in the container made no since it was given to us at the front container.$25 per wristband is a bit extreme. We had no need for it but for anyone that was not expecting that, it should be in the rental agreement.

The condo was nice and location convenient to a lot of activities away from the beach. The beach access was great. Complaints would be mostly with the kitchen and extreme lack of proper cooking skillets and prep utensils and the air conditioning messed up the day before we checked out and made the condo a bit warm, but the property manager did send a hvac tech to fix it. Check in was confusing concerning the parking passes needed to park in the resort parking areas. Over all I would recommend this condo to anyone with no more than 6 adults and 2 children.

Great for Families!

Booked as a last minute vacation, we had an absolutely wonderful time in Myrtle Beach at the Ocean Reef resort - rented by Unwind Vacations. Poor planning on our part, we arrived early, prior to check in time and the crew was fabulous to allow us to enter the property and get our vacation started early. As a first time user of VRBO, I had a million questions and the host was amazing to respond sometimes within minutes and always within an hour to every single one of my questions. They were beyond accommodated. The property itself was fantastic for our family. We had close and easy beach access, a beautiful balcony view of the ocean, multiple pool/water options that were ALL loved by our 3 year old. We spent our days at the beach and our nights at the pool and water park. There are a ton of restaurants and activities close by within a quick car or uber drive. I highly recommend this location whether or not you have kids, but especially if you are traveling with children. This would also be a great location for large groups as there are multiple things to do where everyone will be happy. We will definitely stay here again!
