Clean and totally charming little one bedroom unit. They thought of everything to make our stay comfortable and pleasant. The grounds are gorgeous. Also, super quiet and the blackout curtains made for such restful sleep. Loved it, loved it!!! Can't wait to go back.
We really enjoyed our stay over, both going to and arriving back from our destination. The tiny cabin is not so tiny, as it has a living room and kitchen as well as the bedroom. The property is all developed by rhe owner himself, who we met and he's very friendly and kind. The place is so restful and it smells like the forest. You can hear birds singing. It was a lovely stay and I recommend it highly!
We loved our stay at the Tiny House! The property is beautiful and tranquil, and you can feel the love that Colby & Carrie have put into creating such an idyllic setting. The tiny homes are spotless and comfortable, and we went to sleep each night listening to the sounds of the frogs in the ponds. There is no light pollution, so you can enjoy stargazing at night. We’ve stayed in hotel rooms and other rentals in past visits to the area, but have found our “home away from home” now, and will stay here from now on!
This place was absolutely AMAZING!!! we would love to stay here again! Colby was super easy to get a hold of and communicate with. It was very clean and so cozy and inviting!! We loved how calm and quiet it was too! Thank you so much!
The cabin was clean and had everything we needed. It had plenty of space. It is situated on 6 acres and is quiet and peaceful. The smell of the forest wraps around you and you can hear the birds singing. The bed was comfortable and we slept well. We talked to the host and he was friendly and obliging. If we come this way again, we will definitely stay here. Highly recommend! P.S. You park right in front of the cabin. Easy!
My wife Carrie and I were both born and raised in Whatcom County. We love the mountains, water and farmlands that this area has to offer. Our spare time is spent camping, hiking, and exploring the local small towns. Our favorite hikes include Skyline Divide, Pine and Cedar, Oyster Dome and Fragrance Lake. For an easier adventure we like walking around Lake Padden or driving up to Silver Lake to enjoy the beautiful area. We have had guests come to the area for hiking, a peaceful getaway, a honeymoon, weddings, family reunions, class reunions, a place to sleep on their way back to Canada and a night away after selling goods at the Bellingham Famer's Market. It has been fun to hear what brings travelers to the area that we love so much!
Why they chose this property
Our property is on a quiet road with only a handful of houses. The location of our Tiny House is perfectly secluded from neighbors and our primary residence. Our property is a great central location between Everson, Deming and Bellingham. The quick one hour drive to Mt Baker is beautiful year round. There are delicious restaurants in Everson and Lynden as well as coffee shops, a Subway and Grant's Burgers in Deming.
What makes this property unique
We take pride in our 6 acres of natural beauty. Our ponds attract wildlife such as ducks, herons, deer and the occasional bald eagle. During the summer our turtles like to sunbathe on rocks and logs. Our front porch is a great place to sit and have a cup of coffee in the morning or enjoy a glass of wine in the evening.
