Cozy cabin in the Cherokee National Forest. Minutes from Hiwassee River.

Welcome to our tiny cabin! Our one bedroom cabin includes a queen bed, and a set of bunk beds in a separate, closed off nook. The living room has vaulted ceilings and a corner kitchen nook.

Enjoy your large fire pit looking at the stars with the soothing sounds of the forest around you. We provide all the firewood you will need for the fire pit and the wood burning stove for those cool nights.

The Hiwassee River is a 6-minute drive from the cabin. There you can rent kayaks or innertubes from a few outfitters and take a nice long float down the river. These outfitters are only open during seasonal times. You can also enjoy fishing along the river. There are many parks and picnic areas within 15 minutes of the cabin. Across from one of those parks is a short hike that has 4 separate waterfalls (Lowry Falls). People love this short hike.

One of our favorite things to do is to go back in time on the Hiwassee Loop Train Ride. The 50-mile ride takes about 5 hours. You will get to hear the history of the train and the towns it passes through. The railroad was built in the1890's. The Beautiful views of the Hiwassee River Gorge are breathtaking.

If you want a peaceful place to just get away and relax for a while, we believe this cabin is going to be a place you will love.

Scott is a stellar host, with a great property (cute hiking trail to a hidden chapel on the property) and cozy cabin. All elements were as described, and we'd definitely stay there again some day.

Was perfect for our overnight stay for two adults. Lots of thoughtful features including S'mores supplies and many coffee and tea options. Recommended!

We rented this cabin for thanksgiving, it is absolutely in my top 5 favorites of all places I have rented , to include apartments in Italy, and quaint rentals all over Europe , as well as in Central America. This place is small with amazing detail, the hosts have thought of everything, to include a s’mores bar for the outside fire pit. Their thoughtfulness shows in every corner of this precious cabin. It may be small but it housed a total of 8 guest for thanksgiving dinner and we all enjoyed it. There were 4 of us the first two nights and three the last night, it felt cozy and warm but never cramped. Thank you so much. I hope we get to stay again. It was lovely.

Absolutely Wonderful

We were celebrating our 25th Anniversary and had a wonderful time. The cabin was clean and inviting. The owner made sure that we felt welcomed and included alot of extra's that made our stay even better. Definitely want to come back

This is one of my favorite Vrbo stays ever !!!! The cabin was perfect in every way !!! I wish I could have stayed longer and will next time !!!! The bed slept great and the host had everything imaginable to make our stay the best time !!! The cabin was super clean and the communication with host was amazing !!!! Found our little get away with no issues whatsoever !!!! My little momma was so happy to have had a chance to be “ off the grid !”

Adorable tiny cabin!

We stayed one night in between other locations on a longer trip and it was perfect. Peaceful area, pretty drive in to the cabin and the cabin was a great example of a well done tiny home. We left with some inspiration for future building plans of our own!

A quiet and cozy getaway

Scott has a very unique and cozy stay here! He was extremely accommodating and easy to reach. The cabin was well stocked and the wood stove was a delight and a highlight of our weekend. We drove the cherohala sky way and did a couple hikes. A fantastic weekend!

Family get-away.

What a charming little spot for a small family! with room to sleep 4, cozy blankets everywhere, full kitchen functionality, and a handy-dandy temperature meter for the shower. Reading the cute wood-burned plaques on the walls I provided reason to smile and chuckle. Definitely a spot intended for families! It's s slow drive up the mountain in the dark, but once at the cabin...it's worth it!

It was a great weekend getaway, with no tv or cell service (if you chose) rain on the tin roof and enjoying the wood stove!

Cozy cabin

We really enjoyed our short stay at your cabin. Every detail down to extra charging cables was thought of. There was an issue with the hot water thenight before but owner took care i f ut the next day.
