Loved this house! So clean and comfortable. Everything felt new. The location was fantastic for walking around downtown. Would definitely stay here again.
Charming Craftsman style cottage with everything you need for a comfortable stay! The location makes it an easy walk to downtown Flagstaff, and the offstreet parking is a definite plus. Highly recommend this property!
We loved our stay- it was a short trip but the location was very central and easy to walk around downtown Flag. The house itself is gorgeous and was both carefully restored and decorated nicely - we loved all the Arts and Craft details. We were very comfortable and communication with the host was very easy.
Sweet little historic house with a nice big bathroom
We enjoyed staying at this property especially due to its location downtown and ease to walk to everything. The beds are super comfortable. The layout is nice and the giant bathroom and showers were very nice upgrades for this historic house.
Stayed for our spring break stay, beginning of April and location was great for downtown Flagstaff. We were able to do day trips to Grand Canyon and Page, AZ. Updated and decorated beautifully, we enjoyed our stay here and would book again if in the area.
We immediately felt at home at the Cherry Cottage. It’s so quaint and comfortable. The beds were some of the most comfy I’ve ever experienced. Nice dining table to play games on.
Nice BBQ Grill in the backyard and ping pong table too that the family had fun playing.
The location was awesome. Within walking distance to a farmers market and downtown.
We would love to stay here again.
This 2 bed/1 bath was the perfect spot for our family getaway. Place was clean. Beds were comfortable. Even though there is street parking, we liked there was a spot in the driveway (and thanks for the snow brushes for the car!) We were able to walk to several restaurants for dinner. There are a lot of eating choices between 1-5 blocks. We felt safe in the neighborhood. Conveniently located for our visits to Sedona, the Grand Canyon, and local Flagstaff National parks.
As metro-Phoenicians, we try to get up north at least once a year. We visited in October to escape (the still) hot weather in the valley. To us, the mornings were c-o-l-d, but the days quickly warmed up.
We visited our usual haunts, and also tried some new adventures and restaurants. There is no shortage of either when visiting northern Arizona.
The cottage was perfectly located and very comfortable for the adults and the kidlet. Plenty of space to spread out for everyone.
Our favorite perk? The fantastic ping pong table in the back yard. Boy, did that see a lot of action in the late afternoon/evening when we were done traipsing around.
The cottage will remain on my VRBO board for a future trip...or two.
As my title states, this should be a 5 star slam dunk. Great house, well decorated, clean, walking distance to town, anything the average person would want in a short term rental; but we had some problems.
We arrived a little around 730p. It was snowing and 25°. The house was cold. We jacked up the heat, ate dinner, used our sleeping bags, watched tv and went to bed. The next day, due to the snow we hung with some friends and touristed. We got back at 530p. It was 35° outside. It was 59° in the house. We realized there was something wrong with the heating. That night I messaged the property manager. They got back to me that night and said it would be fixed. After a trip to sedona the next day we came back and it was fixed. Over the next couple of days we would have to fight with the heating system. It would eventually get to temp, but it took constant minding and resetting the thermostat. They were responsive and nice but the whole thing dings you a point. The reason I say 3 out of four stars, is because of the hot water. You should be able to get 3+ reasonable showers out of a place that has a 4 person occupancy. My wife would take a brief shower and then I had to wait 15 minutes for the water to warm up or wait and hour later to shower. I originally thought it was the furnace thing; but after it was fixed I had two other shower issues.
So as i originally posted. The place should be amazing, but heat and hot water were problematic.

I understand that you had trouble with the heating system, and we had someone out to address the problem after you called. But you did not contact us again to state that the issue continued. Additionally, you said nothing of a problem with the hot water. These are all things we could have (and would have) promptly fixed.
