Tunnel des arbres Bluff Cottage avec plage sur le lac Michigan

Chalet de style chalet se trouve sur une falaise surplombant le tunnel des arbres et le lac Michigan. Le chalet se trouve sur le cÎté non lacustre du tunnel des arbres, mais a une plage privée de l'autre cÎté de la rue. A plus d'un hectare de bois derriÚre le chalet.

Le niveau principal (2e étage) comprend une cuisine complÚte et un coin repas, un grand salon avec une cheminée, une chambre trois saisons entiÚrement meublée, une demi-salle de bain et une grande terrasse avec vue sur le lac Michigan.

Le niveau supérieur (3Úme étage) a une chambre principale avec un lit king-size avec son propre café-bar et une terrasse offrant une vue magnifique sur le lac Michigan. Une deuxiÚme chambre a un lit double et un lit gigogne double. Une salle de bain complÚte est à ce niveau.

Un niveau inférieur recouvert de moquette (1er étage) a une chambre / salon avec deux lits jumeaux et un lit de repos.

Une buanderie séparée a une laveuse et une sécheuse.

La cuisine a une gamme complĂšte de vaisselle et ustensiles de cuisine avec une cafetiĂšre standard, une cafetiĂšre Keurig, une plaque chauffante Ă©lectrique et un Crock Pot.

Internet Wi-Fi, TV directe et téléphone fixe. La salle familiale dispose d'une télévision à écran plat de 35 pouces et d'un lecteur DVD. Le salon de la chambre de niveau inférieur possÚde sa propre télévision (pas d'accÚs direct à la télévision) avec un lecteur DVD.

Magnifique patio en pierre devant le chalet et un foyer avec quatre chaises Adirondack derriĂšre le chalet. Barbecues au charbon et au propane.

25th Emerson Family Vacation on Lake Michigan

Idyllic, setting back in the trees set up on a hill nicely secluded above the lake, easy access to the beach and a well equipped and well appointed house.

Loved the location of this house - quick drives to Petoskey, Harbor Springs, and Mackinac. Rooms were spacious and very clean. Access to the beach was a 2 minute walk, and was worth every step up and down the driveway
we had the entire beach to ourselves and it was beautiful! Also loved all of the extras that were already there and we didn’t have to pack - beach chairs, wagon for towing to the beach, fans, etc.

Beautiful Quiet Relaxing

We had a wonderful stay. Peaceful and close to everything we wanted to visit. The steep property incline was a perfect exercise playground. The amenities were beyond what was expected. Would definitely stay there again. Thank you.

Perfect Winter Get-away

Came up for a few days just to get away. GREAT location - around the corner from the local market. Stunning lake view. Wonderfully appointed. Was just perfect and we slept great. Owners gave us a wealth of information leading up to our stay - so helpful! We felt well-cared for and very appreciative.

Lake Michigan visit

The cottage was very cute and comfortable with lots of amenities. We enjoyed the private beach and the lovely lake view. We had some trouble with the key not working, but the owner was very responsive and helped us figure it out, even though it was very late at night! Be aware that unless you have a 4 wheel drive vehicle, you will be carrying all your belongings up 2 flights of deck stairs or up a very steep drive. This would not be good for someone with bad knees - unless you have 4 wheel drive to get up the driveway. Great trip though!!

Great trip!

We visited with our family and it was a perfect fit for us. The king room was so comfy and the boys loved the upstairs room and the downstairs room was perfect for the girls including their own bath. There were so many games to keep us busy in the evening. The beach was lovely but like many Lake Michigan beaches there are rocks so I recommend packing water shoes. We loved the deck and sat out there every evening after watching the sunset on the beach. We also visited our favorite spots - the beach by st. Ignatius in good hart, legs inn and pond hill farm. We had a blast.

Fall trip to Cross Village

We stayed at this house in May a couple of years ago and loved it. The location in the Tunnel of Trees and right across the street from Lake Michigan access is amazing. We love gathering and eating on the deck which provides a great view of the lake. It's quiet, clean and we absolutely love this house and location!

Found this home in a pinch, and are now planning to book each year. It’s beautiful, owners are wonderful and incredibly helpful, and the views are breathtaking.

Perfect Cross Village Getaway!

We had a wonderful stay! The cabin was clean, fully stocked, and just beautiful! Communication with the owner was top notch and I’d say it was above the norm. The driveway is no joke and stairs are no joke, but I think that added to its charm! Highly recommend!

Heaven is a house on a hill

This is the third time we’ve stayed at this wonderful home. We were there for nearly a month, and not once did we get bored or wish we were home. The hosts are truly wonderful people; considerate, compassionate, and big rock hounds like us. We loved being surrounded by nature, the way the place feels like walking into a home where you’ve always been comfortable, and the ceiling of stars at night. We love it here, and hope to be back annually, for as long as time allows.

Total relaxation

This is our second time staying at this property. We came back because it’s so worth coming back to. The place is set up beautifully steps from the beach, and the owners are very responsive and welcoming. The area is beautiful and so much access to Lake Michigan. We will be back again.

Cross Village trip

Very nice property, we had a very nice time. The tips in the summary sheet were very good. There were gorgeous sunsets on the beach. Only challenge was the turn in for the driveway comes quick and gravel going up the first part was a bit loose. We would definitely go back again

Another wonderful week in Michigan

This was our second visit!!

We love this place, so close to the beach which we mostly had to ourselves. We could paddle board easily and walk the beach for miles. We enjoyed the campfires. We enjoyed A night out at Legendary Legs Inn and The house has everything we needed. Mike was very responsive when we had questions. We we’re so happy to be able to have our dog with us too!!

May in Cross Cross Village

My family and I had a wonderful time. The house felt secluded but you are in driving distance of everything. The property was clean. The beds felt hard at first but we all slept great. I was able to check out the little stream behind the house, but it didn’t have too much water yet. My dog really enjoyed it as well. Thank you for letting us take a little break from life to enjoy the view and stay. We appreciate it!

I enjoy walking the beach with my dog Gilligan along with hitting the hiking trails in the Cross Village and Harbor Springs area. Guests have indicated I am very responsive to any questions before or during your stay.

Voici pourquoi l’hĂŽte a choisi cet hĂ©bergement

I was introduced to the Tunnel of Trees approximately many years ago and was instantly taken by its uniqueness and natural beauty.

The cottage is surrounded by trees, yet has great views overlooking the Tunnel of Trees and Lake Michigan. Behind the property is over an acre of unblemished woods with a creek running through it. Cross Village and the cottage generally feel very secluded. You can often walk the beach or the Tunnel of Trees for a mile or more without encountering other people.

Voici ce qui rend cet hébergement unique

The cottage is perched on a wooded bluff overlooking the Tunnel of Trees with views of Lake Michigan. The cottage and beach area face north, meaning that while on the beach you will be able to see both sunrise and sunset. Guests have often commented that the cottage seems very secluded and spacious (with many different rooms for guests to either spend time together or grab some privacy). The cottage has private beach access.
