Túnel de cabaña de árboles Bluff con playa en el lago Michigan

La cabaña de estilo chalet se encuentra en un acantilado con vistas al Túnel de los árboles y al lago Michigan. El chalet se encuentra en el lado no lacustre del Túnel de los árboles, pero tiene playa privada al otro lado de la calle. Tiene más de una hectárea de bosque detrás de la cabaña.

El nivel principal (segundo piso) tiene una cocina completa y un comedor, una gran sala de estar con chimenea, una sala de tres estaciones completamente amueblada, medio baño y una gran terraza con vistas al lago Michigan.

El nivel superior (3er piso) tiene un dormitorio principal con una cama king-size con su propia cafetería y terraza que ofrece hermosas vistas del lago Michigan. Un segundo dormitorio tiene una cama doble y una cama nido doble. Un baño completo está en este nivel.

Un nivel inferior alfombrado (primer piso) tiene un dormitorio / sala de estar con dos camas individuales y un sofá cama.

Un cuarto de servicio separado tiene una lavadora y secadora.

La cocina tiene un complemento completo de vajilla y utensilios de cocina junto con una cafetera estándar, cafetera Keurig, plancha eléctrica y olla de barro.

Internet wi-fi, Direct TV y teléfono fijo. La habitación familiar tiene un televisor de pantalla plana de 35 pulgadas y reproductor de DVD. La sala de estar del dormitorio de nivel inferior tiene su propia televisión (sin acceso directo a la televisión) con un reproductor de DVD.

Hermoso patio de piedra frente a la cabaña y un pozo de fuego con cuatro sillas Adirondack detrás de la cabaña. Barbacoas de carbón y propano.

Loved the location of this house - quick drives to Petoskey, Harbor Springs, and Mackinac. Rooms were spacious and very clean. Access to the beach was a 2 minute walk, and was worth every step up and down the driveway…we had the entire beach to ourselves and it was beautiful! Also loved all of the extras that were already there and we didn’t have to pack - beach chairs, wagon for towing to the beach, fans, etc.

Lake Michigan visit

The cottage was very cute and comfortable with lots of amenities. We enjoyed the private beach and the lovely lake view. We had some trouble with the key not working, but the owner was very responsive and helped us figure it out, even though it was very late at night! Be aware that unless you have a 4 wheel drive vehicle, you will be carrying all your belongings up 2 flights of deck stairs or up a very steep drive. This would not be good for someone with bad knees - unless you have 4 wheel drive to get up the driveway. Great trip though!!

Great trip!

We visited with our family and it was a perfect fit for us. The king room was so comfy and the boys loved the upstairs room and the downstairs room was perfect for the girls including their own bath. There were so many games to keep us busy in the evening. The beach was lovely but like many Lake Michigan beaches there are rocks so I recommend packing water shoes. We loved the deck and sat out there every evening after watching the sunset on the beach. We also visited our favorite spots - the beach by st. Ignatius in good hart, legs inn and pond hill farm. We had a blast.

Beautiful Quiet Relaxing

We had a wonderful stay. Peaceful and close to everything we wanted to visit. The steep property incline was a perfect exercise playground. The amenities were beyond what was expected. Would definitely stay there again. Thank you.

Perfect Winter Get-away

Came up for a few days just to get away. GREAT location - around the corner from the local market. Stunning lake view. Wonderfully appointed. Was just perfect and we slept great. Owners gave us a wealth of information leading up to our stay - so helpful! We felt well-cared for and very appreciative.

Fall trip to Cross Village

We stayed at this house in May a couple of years ago and loved it. The location in the Tunnel of Trees and right across the street from Lake Michigan access is amazing. We love gathering and eating on the deck which provides a great view of the lake. It's quiet, clean and we absolutely love this house and location!

Heaven is a house on a hill

This is the third time we’ve stayed at this wonderful home. We were there for nearly a month, and not once did we get bored or wish we were home. The hosts are truly wonderful people; considerate, compassionate, and big rock hounds like us. We loved being surrounded by nature, the way the place feels like walking into a home where you’ve always been comfortable, and the ceiling of stars at night. We love it here, and hope to be back annually, for as long as time allows.

May in Cross Cross Village

My family and I had a wonderful time. The house felt secluded but you are in driving distance of everything. The property was clean. The beds felt hard at first but we all slept great. I was able to check out the little stream behind the house, but it didn’t have too much water yet. My dog really enjoyed it as well. Thank you for letting us take a little break from life to enjoy the view and stay. We appreciate it!

Cross Village trip

Very nice property, we had a very nice time. The tips in the summary sheet were very good. There were gorgeous sunsets on the beach. Only challenge was the turn in for the driveway comes quick and gravel going up the first part was a bit loose. We would definitely go back again

Another wonderful week in Michigan

This is our third year at Mike’s cottage and it’s always a pleasure to be here. It feels like home now. My favorite time is sitting on our “treehouse” deck and listening to the waves of beautiful Lake Michigan.

Fantastic location

Our family had an amazing vacation week at this property. The views of Lake Michigan were stunning and the house is perfectly set up to enjoy them. The furniture was comfortable, the kitchen was well stocked, and everything was very clean. The multiple levels and indoor/outdoor spaces made the home feel very spacious. Anything we might have wanted on a vacation was already there: tons of games, bikes, kayaks, beach chairs, puzzles. Communication with the owner was very easy but minimally needed as he supplies you with the most comprehensive guide to the home and the surrounding area I’ve ever received with a rental property. It was easily the best rental experience I’ve had.

Lovely views!

We enjoyed our time at this house in Cross Village! Great views and loved the sounds of Lake Michigan. Beautiful private, wooded lot with great fire pit for roasting hotdogs and marshmallows. The beach area was right across from the street from the house and offered some of the best beach walks and sunset views we have found in Michigan. We didn’t mind the walk up the stairs/steep driveway- may be difficult for those with mobility issues. The house was a bit more rustic. The wooded lot was gorgeous but did create a bit of mess with sap on the outdoor decks and furniture. We were able to explore some awesome spots - Harbor Springs, Petoskey, Mackinaw Island. The sand dunes climb up the road was great fun.

Life long Michigander. I grew up in the Detroit area, currently live in the Grand Rapids area, and have owned our Cross Village cottage since 2013. I enjoy walking the beach with my dog Gilligan along with hitting the hiking trails in the Cross Village and Harbor Springs area. Guests have indicated I am very responsive to any questions before or during your stay.

I was introduced to the Tunnel of Trees approximately many years ago and was instantly taken by its uniqueness and natural beauty.

The cottage is surrounded by trees, yet has great views overlooking the Tunnel of Trees and Lake Michigan. Behind the property is over an acre of unblemished woods with a creek running through it. Cross Village and the cottage generally feel very secluded. You can often walk the beach or the Tunnel of Trees for a mile or more without encountering other people.

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

The cottage is perched on a wooded bluff overlooking the Tunnel of Trees with views of Lake Michigan. The cottage and beach area face north, meaning that while on the beach you will be able to see both sunrise and sunset. Guests have often commented that the cottage seems very secluded and spacious (with many different rooms for guests to either spend time together or grab some privacy). The cottage has private beach access.
