Location!! It’s close to so many things. You can start a hike right outside the front door. It’s cozy, clean and cute. All kinds of decorative items that are interesting.

Loved!

This was the perfect place to stay for us, very peaceful, and well kept. I loved the extra touches they included, from the variety of coffees and teas to seeing creamer in the fridge. The location was perfect to all the areas we wanted to see. Thank you Robert and Inge!

Comfy and convenient spot

Stayed here during ACL and it was a great spot. Located close to a main road with bus stops, many different store/restaurants within walking distance. Nice house and front yard is fun place to sit and that with friends.

Peaceful and relaxing

Beautiful location - very peaceful and quiet. The cool night air and no traffic sounds - a big comfy kind sized bed and the best sleep ever! Easy access to so many wonderful places - walk, drive, catch the bus, or get an Uber to South Congress for the best coffee at Jo’s and walk the district for some unique shopping and sightseeing. We were in town for the MotoGP races so we didn’t have time to walk the trails close to the house. Maybe next time as we would definitely come back again.

Peaceful respite

We loved our stay for ACL. It was exactly what we needed -- peaceful, relaxing, and clean. All the amenities we needed and a perfect location. Would definitely stay here again.

Quiet and convenient

We came to Austin to visit family living in the neighborhood, and this suite was just the perfect spot for our stay. It is within walking distance, and so we could come and go at will without need of a vehicle. A definite choice for the future if we again find no room in the family 'inn.' The hosts are very accommodating and clearly take pride in the home they share.

Good property

You rent the front of house while the back of house is inhabited by owners. Owners are very quiet and the stay was pleasurable. Good stay.

Comfortable and Quaint Barton Hills Cottage

This wonderful, cozy home nestled in a charming neighborhood no more than 10-15 minutes from many of Austin’s most popular attractions made my visit a restful and convenient one. Some of Austin’s best local restaurants such as Torchy’s Tacos, Kerby Lane Cafe, and the famous dance hall, the Broken Spoke are walking distance. South Congress, downtown Austin, and Zimmer Park are nearby too. The lady of the house, Inge, is a very gracious hostess. King mattress is spacious, bedding and mattress were very comfortable. Living room and bedroom are both surprisingly larger than they appear in photos.

Wonderful stay

Excellent experience from the moment we booked. Clear communication, easiest check-in imaginable, and a beautiful house to stay in.
