We woke up to a beautiful sunrise every morning on the Lanai. Very peaceful. Short walk across the street to the beach. And the dockside has comfy chairs for a pleasant evening to unwind from the beach.Both pools are great. Will stay here again!

Knowing the destruction from Ian and seeing the restored property made our day! The whole stay was a joy. Having this unit to come back to after a morning on the beach or an afternoon exploring the rest of the island made for a very relaxing week. Stayed in this same unit several years before Ian and was glad to be able to get back into it and the upgrades in the reconstruction were great ,

The Best Garden Surroundings on the Island!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We were grateful to get the last pet friendly unit available at Sanibel Moorings. After spending 26 years at a resort down the road, we loved making the change to this new location! The property is particularly lush with beautiful flowers and trees, and aside from the 2nd floor, all walkways are gently sloped so there are no stairs to make walking difficult. We can't wait to return next year and plan to make Sanibel Moorings our new go-to resort when on Sanibel Island!

Sanibel Moorings Resort #1411

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was more than happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The condo was dirty. The carpet is stained. The bedroom has a water leak from the bathroom and their was a mold spot on the carpet. The carpet was wet where the water came into the bedroom. The trim in the bathroom was in horrible condition from (it looks like previous water damage). Their were no blankets available for the pull out bed and we paid four people staying there. We had to ask the front desk for a blanket and they were very rude about giving us an extra blanket. I would not recommend this unit.

Sanibel Moorings Condo

Property was very nice but condo was dated with stained carpeting, exposed wood in bathroom(baseboard and toilet seat) minimal linens(two lightweight blankets) Pullout bed was uncomfortable (typical) and had to rent a rollaway for an additional $75., and there were little brown flies/moths in the bathroom. Multiple remotes for TV's were challenging to figure out. Kitchen was nice and very well equipped and king bed was comfortable. This condo would be good for a couple and possibly little kids. Bring TP unless you want to chase it down.

We picked this area for the shells, I just happened upon the Mooring as I was looking for something small yet close to the beach. Sanibel Mooring fit the bill!!! No need to ever change were I stay in the future!!!

Very nice location. Unit is very comfortable for 2 people. 3 minute walk to the beach. Enjoyed sitting on the boat dock during early evenings.
