Fall foliage is breathtaking, and in winter, snowshoeing and cross country ski trails start right out the front door. Five major downhill ski areas are within an hour's drive. Many amentities within 5 - 60 minute drive. Day trips can include a shopping trip to North Conway, a scenic trip up the Mount Washington Auto Road, canoeing on the beautiful Androscoggin River, adventurous hikes up Mount Madison or Mount Adams, or leisurely hikes on the hundreds of miles of trails in the White Mountain National Forest or the Randolph area maintained by the Randolph Mountain Club.
