This is a great convenient location. Within walking distance to restaurants, bars, shops, trolleys. Bus stop is right in front of the house, which is also super convenient. Owner was very responsive and thoughtful. Would highly recommend.
Charming and well appointed Magazine St shotgun house perfectly located on Magazine, near Prytania hot spots, with walking access to great restaurants, bars and shopping. The little touches in the house, from artwork and accent pieces to the stunning kitchen and bathroom made this feel like a home away from home. Would stay again and would go out of our way to get this exact property.
My family traveled to New Orleans for a university visit. To say the host was welcoming and available would be an understatement! The home itself is so charming and very clean. The four of us had plenty of room to spread out. The location is excellent! We will most definitely be staying at this beautiful home again if it is available when visiting NOLA! Thank you for a lovely stay!
We had a great , relaxing weekend with our adult daughters. The place was very clean, well equipped. The neighborhood felt safe and there was shopping and restaurants in close proximity.
The ONLY issue was that the air conditioning had a hard time keeping up with the heat. The front bedroom was the warmest . Luckily did not effect my daughters ability to sleep.
Would be nice if ceiling fans were able to operate at high speed, could only get them to low speed.
All in all I would definitely recommend this lovely rental.

Awesome
I travel to work to NOLA about 12 times a year, and have brought my family several times, so this was not our first stay in someone's home. In a word, I will be back. The location is close to perfect, walking distance to Shaya, Petit Grocery, Whole Foods and Audubon Park. Each morning my wife and I walked around the park, and in the evenings after work, we sat on the rocking chairs sipping wine. The home itself is newly remodeled, and comfortable. The bedrooms and bathrooms are large, and the kitchen is huge. I really recommend this house, but just not when I am planning on being there :)

Patrick, thank you for your kind words. We very much look forward to hosting you again.
In the very traditional NOLA shotgun-home style residence, everything was extremely well kept with really fun little New Orleans tickets and decor, art, jars of Mardi Gras beads and doubloons to cabinet of stacked shelves of Mardi Gras parade cups and a drawer of drink cozies. There was extra towels, pillows, trash bags, laundry detergent, and you will laugh... As a divorce, I am often visiting my kids from out of town staying in hotels and home rentals... and my kid kept c commenting on how you can tell they spared no expense because they stocked the house with quality toilet paper. Oh, how our standards have fallen... except here in this rental on Magazine Street, ten or so minutes from the loud and packed French Quarter and famed Bourbon Street... though I prefer the two blocks of Frenchmen, which is more of a locals hangout. It's two blocks away from Guy's Po-Boys, a staple of the community. As they say down here, laissez le bon temps rouler! I will gladly stay here again and again. You should, too.

Appreciate the kind words. Glad you enjoyed your stay. Come back anytime.
Great stay in a classic uptown New Orleans home on Magazine Street. Everything was up to date and well-maintained, fully stocked with all necessary supplies (and then some), and right across the street from Henry's Bar and walking distance to plenty of restaurants. The owner was responsive and helpful and took care of everything we needed.
I look forward to staying here again in the future.

Nice Spot in Uptown Near Magazine Street Spots
My wife and I thought the place was great. Pros: It was clean, everything worked, nicely decorated. Looks better in person than the pictures. Two bedrooms: one with a king and one with a queen. Easy walking distance to lots of cool shopping and restaurants on Magazine. Safe neighborhood (for New Orleans). Cons: Please note there is no off street parking but there is fairly easy on street parking. But you don't really need a car for New Orleans. Also note that the unit has a shared wall with the neighbors so you should pick another spot if you plan on being loud.

Perfect oasis in Uptown Garden District
Great for two couples, while enjoying a long holiday weekend with friends staying in other nearby home rentals. Easy to Uber anywhere or park nearby with rental car. Lots of options for dining in and out. Cute stores, boutiques, bars and cafes in walking distance. It was easy working with Roberto (owner) and hope to return!

Christmas in NOLA
This condo was the perfect place for our stay (two couples) during the Christmas holidays. It was well appointed, very clean and provided everything we needed. The location was great for enjoying the very local area (Whole Foods was also a just minutes away.) The St Charles St Trolley was a short walk away, and provided easy transport to other areas of New Orleans. We would definitely recommend this location.

Great Place, would stay here again!
My family and I stayed here over New Years and it was the absolute perfect property for us. We were two couples and a 9 month old and it accommodated us perfectly. Roberto was a pleasure to work with and was always responsive when we had questions. This property is also within walking distance to several great restaurants and shops. We would definitely stay here again!

Comfortable, classy, clean and good location!
My family came down to New Orleans to get my daughter settled in to Tulane University, which is a short distance away. This property is half of a "shotgun" two story house right on Magazine Street. It is completely renovated and beautifully decorated. The neighborhood is safe and very interesting with many boutiques, restaurants and bars. Despite the location on Magazine Street, we found the property to be quiet at night, making for peaceful sleeping. The owners were very responsive and friendly, and clearly take great pride in their property. My whole family enjoyed staying here and thought it was a great value.

A great way to experience New Orleans
This was our first trip to New Orleans, and we came to the city as a college graduation trip for our son. We thoroughly enjoyed staying in this beautifully renovated and decorated "double" in a real neighborhood...a school, bar, upscale restaurant, bus stop, and even an auto repair shop can be seen from the front porch. We felt more like residents than tourists. The neighborhood felt safe and was fun to walk and enjoy some of the interesting New Orleans architecture. We were not far from any number of shops and restaurants, as well as the ever important CC's Coffee and Hanson's Sno-Blitz. Magazine St. runs all the way into downtown and the edge of the French Quarter, so the house is in a convenient location to get to the city's tourist points of interest easily either by car or bus. We had a car which helped get us to other great tourist locations such as several nearby plantations and an air boat ride in the swamps. The owner was easily reachable and very accommodating, always ready to help with a few changes and glitches we ran into along the way. I would recommend this unit to anyone who wants to see and be a part of a beautiful, and less hectic, part of New Orleans.

Dream Stay on Magazine
I was blown away by my stay at this beautiful condo. The condo has been beautifully renovated, with stunning floors, paint, bathrooms, moldings, and light fixtures. The ceiling fans alone are dazzling! The condo is also impeccably furnished, with the perfect balance of comfort and taste. The location is perfect for an uptown visitor, within striking distance of our go-to spots (La Boulangerie, Creole Creamery, Surrey's Uptown, and Whole Foods).
On top of it all, Roberto was incredibly attentive to my family's needs as we got adjusted to the neighborhood. We feel privileged that we were able to enjoy this space. Thank you for the wonderful week.

What a BEAUTIFUL Home & Great Location!
We stayed at this beautiful home and we are so happy we did. It is in a great location and within walking distance to restaurants, galleries, shopping, the Audubon Zoo and Whole Foods. While we were there I felt safe enough to run every morning through the neighborhoods and down to the Audubon Park. It is great great choice away from the hustle bustle and parking hassles you often face staying in the French Quarter. We were here during the French Quarter Fest and it was easy to either catch the bus that ran on Magazine or walk to the St. Charles Streetcar in order to get into the French Quarter. The owner is very friendly and extremely helpful. I would highly recommend staying here on your next visit to New Orleans!!!

Although we currently live in Venice, CA, we purchased this property as our primary home and hope to return full-time sometime soon. We still visit often to visit family and to enjoy the offerings of this great city. When we are not in town, we open up our home for select visitors to experience all the wonderful things New Orleans has to offer.
