VIEWS, LOCATION, Private PARKING. Ideally located, offers easy maneuvering around city. Third floor end unit w/front/back doors (stairs only/no elevator). Balcony faces Speedway w/city views & UT tower. Pristine, comfortable, cozy & tastefully furnished with wooden flooring. It is decorated with nice framed art paintings & is much like a NY pied-a-terre. Stylish lean and comfortable Cal qn numbers bed w/fresh nice bedding/ linens (bed spread washed after every stay, too); tables/chairs. Living has leather sofa w/qn pull out bed, chair, electric fireplace, side tables. Bathroom vanity is separate from toilet/tub. Fully equipped kitchen with pots/pans, dishes & all appliances, which include, stove, oven, microwave, dishwasher. Coffee & supplies are provided, as are cleaning supplies. Has free-standing electric fireplace; free unlimited internet; HD slim tv w/full cable. Unit has a bright, open & airy feel to it w/windows along one side, which includes bay windows; lots of mirrors. Central AC/Heat. Assigned covered parking space; bus stops a few yards from complex; is a short walk to UT & longer stride to downtown.Safe/secure location; historical & trendy area considered to be old Austin, where legislators & professors made their homes in yrs gone by. Perfect for UT visitors/graduate students. We are fair-minded native Austinites intent on not misrepresenting, so pics as true to form as can capture. (TV pictured has been replaced with a more modern one). No one lives in unit on regular basis; owners live off-premise, but did live in it for 4 yrs so know the value of the accommodations. No washer/dryer in unit/complex, but there are a few in area within walking distance. Several restaurants in area, a few coffee shops (one is Starbucks) and a handful of grocery stores (one is Central Market0. Many have enjoyed their stay and expressed their delight in the experience, which is reflected in reviews. We do our utmost to make it comfortable & keep it in immaculate condition. The complex is relatively quiet, as university housing goes. Smoking is prohibited indoors and we ask that loud noises be avoided, as a courtesy to the neighbors. We ask that visitors be kept at a minimum and that anyone not registered as a guest not spend the night.
Am a senior female native Austinite retired from Tx State Gov & registered with Employee Retirement System of TX (ERS). I very much like to travel, myself, and like to think I am turning over the unit in the same manner I like to receive one when gallivanting the world. I have been hosting short term rentals for about 10 yrs now and have two other rentals. The photo includes my son, who holds a graduate degree in interior design. He helped me to arrange unit contents. I take pride in my properties and do my utmost to check them out on a regular basis and keep them in good condition.

Condo is very cute with all amenities, a joy to experience and ideally located. It doesn't get much better than this. No one lives in unit full time so it is not cluttered with personal items, but still equipped to give a home feel to it. The balcony & Six windows offer great views. The wooden floors and unit's pristine condition are appealing, not to mention the clean and comfortable bed. Much love and attention is invested in unit by owners. The location is in a neighborhood with much character; neighbors and residents are friendly. Hyde Park is considered a desirable area of Austin, centrally located to downtown and UTA. I am available at all times, should a concern develop, or if guests have any questions. Many establishments within walking distance, live theater, too.
VIEWS, LOCATION, PARKING. Great views from inside and out. Centrally located, assigned covered parking (though a car is not necessarily needed given). Unlimited wifi; full cable tv. Italian leather sofa. Electric fireplace.. Research has convinced me that there is not a better property of this kind for the rate we ask. Community park/pool & tennis court is nearby (Shipe Park). Please excuse a few notes posted around unit meant to avoid mishaps &to help manage unit. Thank you for understanding. Many businesses, ie, boutiques, pizza parlors, coffee shops, grocery stores,, spas, parks, and almost any type of business is relatively close. Friendly neighborhood with great appeal. We try to be flexible with check in and check out times, so long as it can be worked around other tenants hecking in or out.

This rental is a great place for a couple or small family. Very close to everything you want to be near in Austin. Location is great, you are within walking distance to a number of food and bar options. Also it's a quick ride to downtown Austin and centrally located just north of campus. Easy to find and access the unit. Would definitely recommend to friends and family. Lupe was easy to contact for any issues. Overall it was a great weekend in Austin.
The apartment was nice enough, although I don't think it appropriate to put handwitten notes on tape on items to provide instructions about things to do or places you cannot sit. The covered, assigned parking and guest spaces were great. I did not need a second bathroom so there was no issue with having one bathroom. However, I expected a pool and asked about it. The owner did not respond until I left and sent me an unpleasant email claiming I just wanted to complain. She also indicated that there were community, city or school pools I could find if I had googled them. Frankly, I don't think adding a public, paid pool as an amenity to your listing is appropriate at all. I have stayed in other homes and condos and never had a problem at all.
The condo is tastefully furnished; very comfortable bed. The location is perfect for walking or catching the bus one block away. Not noisy even though it's on a main street. Lupe is wonderful and attentive to your needs. I will definitely stay here again.
Austin is a vibrant city with just about anything a bustling city holds. And, near the beautiful Hill County. There is much to explore. The unit is within walking distance of UT, which is a leading university with lots of things to do and see. It is easy to get to the condo from airport (ie city bus, shuttle or taxi). Public Community park/poo (Shipe Park) on 4400 Ave G, and easy walk or direct bus transport.

A fair-minded senior female manages unit & does not live on premises, but is near phone at almost all times. No cats allowed, but dogs will be considered on individual basis. Unit very well taken care of. Owner does utmost to be fair & hopes for same. Inquire about wkly rate and longer stays. Covered parking; no pool on property, but one nearby, washer/dryer not on premises, but a short walk away. A cleaning fee of $40 is added for more than 10 days reservation.
