Getting There:
2nd Tier - Cove - Mile Marker 42. Ease of access via state highways and blacktop roads. Inquire about gravel roads if concerned as the road conditions can change. Just 3 hours from St. Louis and Kansas City and a half day drive from Nebraska, Illinois, Iowa, Kansas and Arkansas you have great access for families to connect and gather. International airport is in Kansas City and regional airports are available in Columbia and Springfield.

Cancellation Standards: Any cancellation completed with a refund will have a 5% transaction fee for the processing of the refund. Therefore, the refunded amount will equal 95% of the transaction paid. Lake Days Rentals is not responsible for the refund of fees paid directly to VRBO.

Weekend getaway

Nice and relaxing weekend. We used the gazebo quite a bit and listened to all of the wildlife. It could use some updating but it was nice for a weekend getaway.

My 4 star rating rather than 5 is more to the property management rather than the host.The property was great overall with a wonderful view of the water and great outdoor seating. Very clean. My only recommendations would be to replace the recliner which is pretty broken down and update some of the kitchen ware. I have rented many houses and this was probably the worse collection of pans I have seen. Thrift store purchases would improve it considerably! And a few regular drinking glasses.To the property management- a leak developed on the first night under the bathroom vanity and I soaked it up with a beach towel, but water was also seeping up through the planks in other areas of the floor. I notified the management company the next morning and they said they would get someone to look at it. I was contacted later in the day that they had done what they could until they could get a bigger fix done. Later that day the cleaning service showed up with a garbage bag of rag towels to soak up the water. Since this was directly in front of the sink and one other area, it made using the sink a little more difficult with a pile of wet towels in front of the sink and getting up at night to step on wet toweling. No offer of moving me to another property or compensating me for a less than satisfactory stay.But I received 4 texts and emails that if there were any issues to contact them before leaving a "5 star" review.I did reply to these and got NO responses.

The location is centrally located between Camdenton and Laurie. Very comfortable and spacious 1 bedroom. If I am ever in the area I will definitely rebook.

Off the beaten path

We came for my husband’s birthday weekend and had so much fun! After a long day at the party side of the lake, coming back to this cozy house was the perfect wind-down! Bonfires, grilling, swims in the lake was the weekend husband requested and this went better than he ever could have expected!

Gazebo dream

Lovely little place. Was exactly what I needed for a quick fun get away. Only issues which weren’t a big deal but did want you to be aware, the shower door was off the track and some of the dishes were dirty. Wanted to have a fire in the fire pit but there were so many leaves I thought it was a bit of a fire hazard. Easy check in process and Pamela was very helpful and responded in a timely manner. Thank you. It was a nice day away.

Nice stay

House is a great place to stay if you’re looking for something on that side of the lake. House is clean and well maintained for a rental on the lake. Communicate is great and so was checking in. Didn’t even have to meet anyone. House has what you need for a small family. My only complaint which isn’t a big deal and I figured would be the case is the bed situation. It does have one regular bed. All the other spots are pullout couches or air mattress. You can sleep 6 easy but it will take up the whole house. I would not advertise 8 people. I would definitely and will be staying here again though. We will be back for sure.
