Fabio purchased this Villa in 1952
Why Fabio chose Todi
You will rent a villa in a historical estate with exclusive views over the valley a stone thrown away from lake beach, medieval hideaway towns and Unesco world heritage sites. One day you could join a wine tasting in a winery followed by a one day cooking class from an italian mama, then go horse riding through our property and eventually ending with a massage in a near by Spa. The options are many and will easily fill up 2 weeks whether you are a family or a couple or a group of friends.
What makes this Villa unique
All the peace and quiet of an italian secluded Villa and at the center of the undiscovered green heart of Italy.

Amazing house and property
The property is absolutely amazing! Totally privat but still only 15 minutes away from a supermarket where they have whatever you desire in foods, being fresh truffles, homemade pesto or wonderful local wine. The town of Todi is also only 15 minutes away, the ice cream bar in the centre serves the best Italian ice cream!!!
The house is wonderful, the redecoration of this ancient house is done in a delicate way.
We did not miss aircondition even though it was close to 35C during our stay, the house cooled down in the evening and we had no problem with sleeping.
The property is outstanding, it is surrounded buy a beautiful forest, perfect for a morning run.
The pool is absolutely amazing, you have to see it to believe it!! A stunning view over the hills of Umbria, it also has a bit of a breeze through the day so it never becomes too hot (which can be a problem for a Norwegian...)
Fabio, thank you for a wonderful stay, we would love to come back!
P.S. Your "stand in" was so nice to us and made our stay even better.

Wonderful property with stunning views
After an epic drive from Northern Italy, and some very useful directions from Fabio, we arrived bang on time at the house. Riccardo - wonderful host throughout our stay - greeted us, showed us round the property, and also handed over a box of local delicacies. Lovely way to be welcomed.
The villa itself is ultra tasteful, full of all the mod cons you could want, and also has a brilliant pool area with views stretching miles across the local countryside. Its also worthwhile heading down the track nearby to the medieval bridge and unspoilt Umbrian countryside.
Our kids - 7 and 4 - and ourselves loved our stay, and would highly recommended the villa and local area. Only things to watch out for are the roads up to the house (our car only just survived them!) and the lack of aircon, although the spacious airy rooms meant none of us suffered even though temperatures we regularly north of 30 degrees C.
An exceptional place !
Palazzaccio Todi is an exceptional place. This traditional Umbrian country house has been completely refurbished inside. The interior is modern, artsy, minimalistic and very comfortable. Every detail - from heirloom bed linens to homemade olive oil in the kitchen and to high-speed WiFi - is designed to make guests feel truly at home. The location is also great: less than 2 hours from Rome, 10 minute drive from Todi, and within easy reach from other parts of Umbria. We are already thinking about coming back next summer.
Beautiful country retreat
We spent a weekend at Fabio's fantastic country house near Todi. The property is wonderful; one could spend days exploring it, from the trails in the woods to the pastures and olive orchard. The views of Todi and the surrounding countryside are stunning; I spent the two mornings we were there drinking my coffee outside to watch the sun rise over Todi and the Tiber Valley. The location is perfect for exploring Todi and the surrounding towns, including such hidden gems as Doglio. The house is charming, the beds comfortable, and he and Laura (who looks after the place) left it stocked with some basic food items so that when we arrived, we could feed our hungry kids without driving to the supermarket. Fabio is also the perfect host; we were in touch in the days prior to our arrival, and he called after our arrival to make sure that everything in the house was working and, more importantly, that we were having a good time. My family and I will return.
Amazing place in the wonderful Umbria
I and my russian wife (42 and 33 years old) for a lucky opportunity had the pleasure to spend a week in this place. We couldn't find much about it on internet 'cause it started this activity right now, so it was a bet.. but once got in we realized how huge, cool and tasteful it's this "rural" house. The building is pretty big, high ceilings, original wood and stones everywhere give you the sense of the history that was centuries ago in perfect harmony with the new interiors, a mix of rural and modern style which I found of a great choice: the beautiful old ladder for hanging the towels in the bathroom, old boxes for the olive harvest transformed in stylish bookshelves, the fireplace, vintage abat-jours and a spectacular living room with a kingsize sofa on which we could relax in the night watching movies on a good 40" flat screen. From all the windows light, sunflower fields and beautiful landscapes, including a private forest, very nice for a morning walk. Despite the big space everything was very clean. this was my main concern since I am allergic to dust, but I didn't sneeze once.
The location was strategic for reaching many enchanted places. We discovered that all the region consists of meioeval town and cities tidy, full of flowers (every house proudly hangs cascades of flowers from its balcony), peacefully immersed in the nature and kept in such well conditions like nothing changed since the Xiii century..really amazing!! We liked more the tiny Doglio, few houses indeed, so cute and beautiful (10 mins by bicyle), Todi which is right in front of the house, the breathtaking assisi and Spello, famous for the flower festival. We also bought black truffles, a specialty of the region, which we then were cooking almost every day at home with pasta..I couldn't believe they were so cheap..guys this is the truffle paradise!!
We keep very warm memories of this week and we defenitively recommend this house. Thumbs up!
it was a true pleasure to have you and Taliana as guests.
I am so happy to know that you liked it so much.
I hope to see you coming back in the near future, we will be waiting for you.
