Home away from home
The home is located in a very quiet neighborhood, and is walking distance to a small playground and a private sandy beach on the river (no lifeguard but roped off designated swim area). The beaches were a short drive away, ranging 10-20 min, and the beach chairs and umbrella that were provided helped immensely to lighten the things we brought. The deck and large kitchen provide ample space to eat/drink/entertain. It is where we spent most of our time. The bedrooms were a perfect size, and the basement area provided a quiet place from the main area. There are a/c units in each bedroom and the dining room. We enjoyed our stay & would highly recommend this home. We didn’t need to reach out to the property manager, so I can’t comment on ease of communication.

Frog Pond
The view of the lake from every room was a delightful way to awaken each day. The sounds of the frogs echoed in our dreams each night. The house, just north of Bonnet Shores is located near a bagel shop, severa pharmacies convenience stores and a liquor store, with easy access to many beaches on 1A to the south and the charming village of Wickford to the north. It is well appointed with a modern kitchen and upstairs bathroom. Beds were all very comfortable. Ongoing upgrades are underway. The basement bedroom and shower are fine for teens. There is a nice yard in front for the kids to play games in the evening. There is a large quiet neighborhood to get in some walking. Our hosts were very attentive and helpful. Enjoy your stay!!

Family Vacation
Our three adult children, their spouses, and two grandchildren (5,2) thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house was ample, the neighborhood was very quiet and the location was perfect. The small beach, a five minute walk away, was wonderful with the two young children, as well as the even closer small playground. The RI state beaches are a short car ride away. The comfortable home facilitated our family time together as we would highly recommended to anyone, especially families with children.

Great little escape
The house was a great little escape for my family and I. The AC’s were nice to have in each room and the deck was a great place to sit outside. Close to the beaches, Newport and restaurants. My only recommendation would be to upgrade the bed and pillows downstairs and on the main floor by the kitchen. Other than that, it was a great beach rental! Thank you!

Close enough to everything but a quiet place to have fun
We stayed to celebrate Moms 85th birthday. RI is the only state she has never visited. We flew in from 4 different states. House was close enough from Newport and Providence for day trips but allowed us to spend time together playing board games at the house. Lots of restaurants nearby but kitchen was excellent for cooking. The windows on the backside of the house do not have curtains. So it was difficult to sleep past sunrise in the upstairs bedrooms and a little unnerving in the bathrooms. Unfortunately, you can’t reached the pond in the back of the house. Also side deck isn’t as big as it looks in the pictures. We would stay here again if we ever got back to RI.
