About this property

Relax with friends or family at this peaceful island getaway.

Welcome to this unique location on the south end of New Smyrna Beach. Tucked between the beach and river, you can watch the sun rise and set within steps of this cozy getaway. Chill out on the miles-long no-drive beach right across the street. Venture over to the river for a perfect place to paddleboard, kayak, or fish while watching the dolphins and manatee play. The adjacent community park provides the land lover with volleyball, tennis, basketball courts, a playground, and a kayak launch.

Perfect for 1 or 2 couples or a small family, our condo is a bright updated 2 bedroom and 2 bath 2nd-floor end unit. There is no elevator, there is a stairway to the front entrance and the rear entrance.

The primary bedroom has a king bed and en-suite bathroom with walk-in shower. Guestroom offers a full bed and a twin bed. Guest bathroom has a bathtub with shower. Both bedrooms have an exterior door that opens onto a large screened-in balcony overlooking the condo community seasonally heated gated pool. The kitchen is fully equipped to prepare and enjoy meals. Assorted coffee and teas are provided.
We welcome you to our family beach getaway and hope that you enjoy it as much as we do. If you need additional space, our neighbors also may have a unit available. Just send a message.

You will have keypad access to the condo.
The community property includes a seasonally heated pool, shuffleboard, fishing dock, outdoor showers, and coin laundry facilities (coins are provided by us for 2 loads if needed). An access key is provided to enter the gated pool area.
Free designated parking is located directly in front of the condo stairway entrance. Other parking is available in spots labeled "No boats".
The adjacent public community park access and use is free of charge. Hours of use are posted.
There is a TV in the living room and each bedroom that are set up with streaming apps on Roku. You will need to sign in to the apps with your information. Roku automatically signs you out on your departure date.
WIFI is available. Login will be provided upon check-in.

There are 2 Publix grocery stores located on your way in on Hwy 44 and a Dollar General Marketplace nearby on A1A. One block away is a bait and tackle shop with a few staples. JB's Fishhouse is a mile south with inside and outside seating on the river and live music. Other restaurants, shops, music, and art venues are just a short trip north in the city of New Smyrna Beach.
Eco boat tours, hiking and other adventures are available at several locations within a hour's drive.

Great Getaway and Very Relaxing

The unit was just outstanding. It had everything that we needed, and was very clean, convenient, and relaxing. I would definetely recommend this to friends and family. We plan on staying again sometime in the near future. If you are looking for a place that is near everything, but not surrounded by commercial establishments and traffic, this is the place.

Warm in January@Bethune beach

Excellent location, a short walk and your on the beach relaxing in the sun. In the evening a short stroll to the waterway docks to view the beautiful sunsets. The nearby park not only offers recreational activities but an opportunity to watch dolphins, pelicans and manatee. This is a perfect place for a couple or small family. Master bedroom is a nice size with comfortable mattress and bedding. Kitchen was well equiped. The living room/kitchen is cozy but well organized for your needs. We enjoyed relaxing on the screened porch. Having access to beach chairs, umbrella, wagon and beach toys is a bonus especially if you are flying. Appreciated the kindness and responsiveness of our host.

Small but Mighty

Our family of four had a fantastic time. I was slightly concerned about the size of the kitchen and livingroom, however, it was no issue whatsoever. All available space was used intelligently and thoughtfully. The space was clean, comfortable and inviting. The location was perfect for the beach, kayaking, spending time at the park, or just relaxing on the back porch. The kids loved the pool, shuffleboard court and nearby park. The host was very responsive. The condo was very well appointed. Anything I could think of needing was provided. The beds were comfortable and bathrooms were large and well laid-out. I would highly recommend this property.

This location is located between Bethune Beach and the Indian River Lagoon on the south end of New Smyrna Beach. It's a quiet island community with less commercial activity, but only a short drive to restaurants, music and art venues, and a thriving downtown.

What makes this property unique

We love the walkability to the beach, river, and community park. Within minutes we can enjoy beachcombing, fishing, and kayaking while watching the dolphins and manatees, or playing sports at the Bethune Beach Community Park. Then jump in the pool! We are one mile from the Canaveral National Seashore where you can hike and explore the historic Turtle Mound or enjoy a truly undisturbed beachfront. It's the perfect vantage point to watch the frequent space launches!
