Enjoy the quiet beauty of the surrounding trees in this quiet well- appointed home with a three-car garage. With three bedrooms and three bathrooms as well as an appointed office area and small loft, this home has plenty of space for groups, families, and pets! Enjoy the back deck with private hot tub to enjoy the stunning forest and the three outdoor decks for relaxation in the beautiful outdoors. Dogs are welcome at no additional charge!
We have always loved the Breckenridge area as Colorado natives and enjoy being able to share the beauty and knowledge of the area with our guests. We also know what it means to make your stay as best as it can be by providing you with all the amenities, toiletries, a welcome basket and special experiences that make your vacation stand apart from the average host.
The White Stag Chalet is a private single-family home with many amenities for children including a private kids fort, a toy chest full of free toys, family games and its own small sledding hill with sleds available for the entire family to utilize both at the house or to take to any of the nearby sledding hills. The home sits on almost one acre of land and has views of the forest from almost every window. It isn’t uncommon to see moose and a variety of wildlife in the yard.
Pets are welcome and require a $100 non-refundable fee per pet.
About the space:
LIVING AREA
This cozy space with both a loveseat, couch and accent chair allow a lot of sitting around the gas fireplace with a mounted smart TV and Bluetooth sound system. It also has a bar/wine stand and large pub table with seating for 5 to play games.
DESIGNATED OFFICE NOOK
There is a nook with a desk, desktop computer, office chair and printer as well as office supplies to manage any business activities.
KITCHEN/DINING
This home offers a great set up for large groups and for people who love to cook. It has a French-door refrigerator, two gas stoves- one with an indoor grill, two ovens, a dishwasher, and massive cupboard space. It also has new dishes for large parties, a Keurig duo with supplied coffee/creamers, a crock pot, toaster, blender and all the essentials. The custom live edge dining table seats 6 and the wood island seats 3. To add to the ambiance the wood burning stove sits just adjacent to the table. Wood is provided for the length of your stay.
MASTER BEDROOM
Wake up to views of the evergreen trees! The room is on its own side of the house with its own separate staircase and has vaulted ceilings, a King pillow top bed, large TV, walk in closet and large Master Bathroom with a jetted jacuzzi tub and walk in shower. There is also a deck off of the Master Bedroom with a private hot-tub with expansive views of the forest, (sleeps 2).
BEDROOM 2- One queen pillow top bed and a smart TV and large closet. (sleeps 2)
BEDROOM 3- One log bunk bed with a Full size mattress below and a single above as well as another log bunk bed with a single below and above (sleeps 4).
BATHROOMS:
Full Bathroom 1- Master Bathroom with walk in shower and large jetted tub.
Full Bathroom 2- There is a private bathroom between Bedroom 1 and 2 with a tub and shower.
BATHROOM 3- This half-bathroom is located near the living room on the main level.
LOFT AREA-
A small loft at the top of the main staircase and near the Master Bedroom has a new wood daybed.
OUTDOOR AREA AND PARKING
This home has three outdoor decks/balconies- the large front deck, the second level deck and third level deck with the hot tub. There is outdoor seating and a propane grill.
The property has a three- car garage and tons of parking space. Guests can fit RVs, trailer and over a total of 6 cars.
EXTRA AMENITIES AND DETAILS
Additional guest amenities include fast WiFi, a washer and dryer, pet friendly amenities, and child-friendly amenities including:
-Pack N Play crib, baby/pet gate, kids toys/games/books/fort, snow sleds, inflatable stand up paddleboards, 8 pairs of snowshoes, and bikes.
GETTING TO THE HOUSE-
Depending on traffic- the house is about 6 minutes from downtown Breckenridge and is located East of Highway 9 far enough to be away from the traffic but also close enough to allow for AWD and FWD to access the property. Sherwood lane is plowed by the city and we have our own plow company remove snow off of the driveway anytime there is more than 3 inches of snow.
