Worst host ever, Vrbo no help
These are facts: My vehicle was booted twice while parked at the property, and I had to the unbooting fee. The first time the host was not aware of the HOA’s vehicle registration process, the second time she failed to follow through on registering my vehicle. I called Vrbo for help on recovering the un-booting fees, and the Vrbo representative refused to assist. The host did not provide basic information like the location of the clubhouse and neighborhood dumpster. The clubhouse access PIN provided didn’t work. No garage door opener was provided, so even parking in the garage was inconvenient. Dishes were put away dirty. The owner’s personal items were all over the place. There was pet hair on the pillow shams. There were food wrappers under furniture. Internet access was spotty, impeding my ability to work. Most of my communications to the host received no response. I’ve spent over 100 days in short term rentals over the last four years and prior to today, left only 5 star reviews.
