You can see the waters of Lake Erie from the front of the house and it's less than a five minute walk to the beach. The apartment was very clean and comfortable. More spacious than I realized. I meet the owner briefly and my immediate impression was of a kind and good human being. I'd stay here again.

Absolutely love this place. We have stayed multiple times and will stay again next time we head home to see family. Host is Fantastic! Location is Fantastic! And the space itself is Fantastic! Well worth the price! Really made the weekend that much more enjoyable.

The place was nicely decorated, cozy and located a block away from Lake Erie. Pretty place to take a walk to the beach area. I’ll definitely stay here again when I visit my daughter at SUNY Fredonia!

Great place to stay when you have an event in Fredonia
We needed a nice place for one night when we were attending our grandson’s senior recital at SUNY Fredonia. This two-bedroom apartment was just the ticket. Very clean with plenty of amenities and comfortable beds. The only drawback was the steep stairs to the apartment, particularly for 80-year olds!

Thank you for your great review, Jim. Really appreciate it. Take care and feel free to book again.
This was exactly as it was pictured. You walk in and it felt and smelled clean and refreshing. All amenities that you need were there… Various types of shampoo and conditioners and shower gel. Kitchen was fully stocked with what you needed. Wish I had found this place sooner. I would’ve happily stayed here over the last several years.

Thanks so much for the 5-star review. You are welcome to come stay again anytime. Take care.
Good location to beach. Nice decor. Nicely painted except for the ceilings in the bedrooms could use a painting. Street parking was ok. Refrigerator, stove, kitchen sink and shower needs a wipe down along with a new shower curtain. Overall, just there to sleep and shower and was a good price.

Thank you for the feedback. Always looking for ways to improve to provide a pleasant stay for guests.
I am taking in my disabled sister and my brother met me halfway between Indiana and Vermont to bring her to us. We only stayed overnight but it was a very well put together BNB and its location was great. We met the owners and she was a really nice lady and her beautiful rescue dog. The only issue was we had to leave early in the morning and we hope it didn’t bother anyone. I would stay here again anytime.

This delightful apartment was on the second floor of a home one block from Lake Erie! The hosts, who apparently live on the first floor, did the apartment remodeling themselves, but it looked professionally done. And everything you needed for a comfortable stay was there--SO MANY thoughtful little touches! I can usually tell that a host never stayed in their own rental, as conveniences are missing or inadequate. Not so here. Great place and super clean. It is a steep climb to the second floor, so people with ambulation issues might find it difficult. But the stairs are well lit, and the digital entry box worked flawlessly. Quiet residential neighborhood, plenty of curb-side parking. We really enjoyed having stores and restaurants so nearby, too--everything you could possibly need was a short drive away. And we appreciated that our hosts checked on us to make sure everything was ok. Would definately stay here again!

Cute but needs a few quick fixes
We stayed for 5 nights. Overall, the place was okay, but there are a few areas that could use attention. The stove, refrigerator, and kitchen sink could use a deep cleaning. A dirty Brita water pitcher was also left in the fridge, which was unpleasant. The shower didn’t drain well, which made it a bit inconvenient. The steps to the apartment are quite steep, but we managed fine with our luggage. We didn’t spend much time in the apartment—mostly used it for sleeping and showering. The location was convenient, and we were able to take a short trip to Niagara Falls, which was a nice bonus. The apartment itself is cute, but we’d recommend updating the mattresses and bathmats. Also, it would be more comfortable for future guests if previously opened food items weren’t left in the fridge or cabinets. With a few improvements, this place could be a much better stay.

Eleanor, I was taking aback by your review, as most guests who experienced the same conditions have been very pleased. In fact, the mattresses have been described as very comfortable. Regarding the Brita pitcher, point well taken, as I provide complementary bottled water, so the pitcher is probably not necessary. Regarding condiments, like ketchup and mustard in the refrigerator, past guests have appreciated that. I don’t leave any open food in the fridge other than those condiments, to be clear. Regarding the bath mat, I change that out between four different mats, and they get laundered between every guest, along with all the bedding and towels. I regret to not have met your standards and will pay more attention to the cleanliness items you shared. Take care. - Ryan
