Wonderful Stay!
Our 4th time at this property and we love it! My family LOVES that there is a Christmas tree set up it adds so much to the coziness of this house. We enjoyed going down to the lake and also sitting on the back porch. We love all the electric blankets and the overall coziness of the house. It is clean and has everything you would need for a short weekend stay! I really love our time in this house we have so many memories here! Thanks for sharing your home with us!

Adorable Retreat Along the Lake
Without repeating all the good details of other reviewers, I’ll add that although pets are allowed you would never know it by how clean and fresh the cabin is. While compact, the space is extremely well organized and laid out. We saw bald eagles, a peregrine falcon, nut hatches, blue jays, and orioles, all from the back porch. The rental is well stocked with many good quality towels, linens, laundry detergent, pots, pans, dishes, and many more household goods. We spent every morning sipping coffee on the back porch. Because of the many trees and shrubs you can’t see neighbors to your right and only a partial view of the neighbors to the left. It was a very peaceful stay. The owner is easy to communicate with and the coded lock was easy to operate. We visited several wineries in the area and took a nice hike with our dogs at Lake Erie State park which was up the road a few miles. I loved the fact that the place was so wild on the road side. You can barely see the house from the road. I highly recommend this vacation rental

long review lol
I stayed here with my family, 9 people and dogs, for four nights. When we pulled into the driveway the outside of the house appeared to be warn down, but we were pleasantly surprised by the inside. It is well decorated and has a cozy cabin vibe to it. The place is well stocked with supplies and the appliances are all new. They also had a jar filled with s'mores supplies when we arrived which was a nice welcoming treat. The view of lake eerie is unbeatable. The steps to the lake are in the neighbors, so you have to walk across their yard. During our stay, the neighbors were not very friendly. Some of us felt uneasy walking through their yard, but we did it anyways because being at the lake is a must for this trip. My family and I walked along the rocks for hours! But, one of the days I was out back with my dog when all of a sudden he ran off barking. I chased after him to find a man taking out the trash. The man did not introduce himself, but I could tell he was the owner. There was no notice of anyone coming to take out the trash during our stay. I felt uneasy about the whole thing because the house had lots of outdoor security including a ring so I feel like they had to know we were there. And my uncle was napping in the little outhouse on the top bunk when the man entered not just once, but twice. Said he was coming in to "close the door." Very uncomfortable situation, but otherwise a nice trip.
