Sounds like you did AMI the right way, Kristen. Coconut Palm Paradise by AMI Locals is such a great home base from bay right out back, easy walk to the Gulf, and that mix of pool time and beach days just makes everything flow. And Bean Point sunsets being that close? Hard to beat. Love the local spots you found too—The Porch and North Shore Café are favorites for a reason. You definitely got the full island experience. We’ll be here when you’re ready for round two—same sunshine, same laid-back vibes.

Regarding the pool, there were some leaves due to higher winds at the time, which can happen quickly with island weather. The pool itself remained usable, and it is serviced twice weekly for guests. A skimmer is also provided should you wish to do a quick touch-up between services. As for the thermostat, we do not have a record of a request to adjust the temperature, but our team is always happy to assist with settings at any time during a stay. We appreciate you sharing your experience and hope to welcome you back for a smoother, fully relaxing visit next time.

It was great having you here at Coconut Palm Paradise and we are happy that you found the house nice and clean! We apologize for the inconvenience you experienced with the AC. You are right, all our ACs are controlled by our monitoring system called Villa Control. The preset limit of 72 degrees is implemented to help make sure that the indoor temperatures are set to a manageable level that works best with the amplified humidity conditions that we experience in our tropical location to preserve the working condition of the HVAC unit as a whole. Additionally, Villa Control usually gives us the information that the AC is working properly. We have checked the AC at Coconut Palm Paradise and indeed, the AC had a wiring issue that did not present itself in our monitoring system. We did have those faulty wires changed immediately. In addition, we have replaced the thermostat with a brand new one, which is now easier to handle for the guests and the AC should be no issue at all anymore. As we have advertised it, the Tampa Bay is only steps away at beautiful Bayfront Park, which is just across the street and is the best spot to catch a glimpse of area wildlife such as manatees and dolphins. The first Gulf side beach access (Bean Point) is just 10 minutes’ walk away as per google maps. We would love to host you again!
