Premier 3bed/2 bath cabin in the heart of the Gunnison National Forest at the base of the Collegiate Peaks. Beyond the breathtaking views, there are miles of hiking and biking along with trout fishing, boating, hot springs, white water rafting, rock climbing, and horseback riding trails just minutes away. ATV trails galore right out of your back door. No need to trailer once you arrive. 50 mins to Buena Vista, Crested Butte, and Gunnison for restaurants and shopping.

6 miles from your cabin, Taylor Park Reservoir offers fishing, boating, paddle boarding and more! We are 7.5 miles away from the Taylor Park Trading Post. Enjoy the majestic beauty this place has to offer.

Inquire about Hunting in September and October.

Tin Cup General Store, Frenchy’s Restaurant and Mirror Lake are a few of the things Tin Cup has to offer. Just a quick 15 minute drive out of your front door!

30 miles down Cottonwood Pass there are 5 steaming mineral pools to soak in at the Cottonwood Hot Springs and Spa. You can even get a massage and do a little shopping there. There are  hot springs at Mt Princeton as well.

Our host Marty went above and beyond!! It was so nice not to have to cook our first night of arrival after traveling. The cabin was all that was listed and more. The cabinet was full of spices and oils for cooking. There were plenty of paper goods on hand. We left with a great experience and we made a new friend. Thank you Marty

We do a lot of traveling and stay in many VRBO homes. This cabin was at the top for all aspects! Cleanliness, will stocked, everything worked and great communication with one of the owners prior to our visit and greeted by another owner when we arrived. Beautiful secluded property

Beautiful property, pretty far on the north end of Taylor Park. It’s about a 25 minute ride to the trading post. Property was clean when we checked in, the wifi worked great. Would definitely stay here again.

Bachelor Trip

Myself and four friends stayed here for my bachelor trip and had a great time! We could ride right out of the cabin to the trails for Taylor Park. The host was great and the property was beautiful. Would definitely recommend!

Amazing Property

Wonderful house on a stunning larger property. If you love being off-grid and enjoying the beauty of nature, while still having the luxuries of home, this is the place to rent! Well appointed, friendly hosts, access to off-road trails, stunning scenery. We will be back.

Tranquil and scenic

We absolutely loved our stay at Dom’s place cabin. The cabin itself is beautiful and the views are spectacular. It was also nice to be able to unload our side-by-sirens not have to trailer it again until we left. Marty was a kind and gracious host. We saw moose, deer and a ton of chipmunks. I be would %100 recommend to anyone looking for the perfect place to stay in Taylor Park!

This was our all time favorite VRBO! Jacqualyn was quick to respond to all our questions. Marty the host was fabulous in every way! I can't say enough good things about this place! We were off grid and loved it. We saw wildlife and it was so peaceful! We will be back! We had the best time! If you are in this area, you will not find a better place to stay!

The property was exceptional !! We loved everything about it. You would never guess it was off grid. It had all modern amenities except a dishwasher. None of us wanted to leave. We will definitely be returning to this cabin. Marty is a wonderful host.

Summer Colorado vacation

Perfect property our family of 6. Secluded, quiet, surrounded by wildlife on 250 acres. Very nicely appointed, new construction cabin with all amenities you could want. Host is very friendly and full of good stories! We will be back!
