About this property

Perfect place to escape the city for a weekend getaway at this converted 1900's dairy barn in the Hudson Valley outfitted with local sourced vintage furniture. With 6 bedrooms, this spacious 6 acre property is the ideal hosting place for groups of friends or families. Enjoy the trails, walk by the pond, or curl up to read a book. 5 min drive to Thunder Ridge Ski Area. 10 min to Pawling, NY. Hiking trails (including Appalachian trail) and biking paths (rails to trail access) within 15 min drive. Apple and pumpkin picking farms nearby in the fall with gorgeous fall foliage. Unheated pool open from Mid-May to Mid-Sept.

Given the house is a converted 100+ year old barn, please expect some creaky floors and squeaky doors. We only use organic products and try to be kind to the earth so there is a chance a bug or two might wander inside during your stay.

Magnificent Country Home

What a special weekend in this beautiful restored farmhouse! 8 life-long girlfriends celebrating milestone birthdays! The host gets a gold star rating - she even baked us a cake!! Come make memories like we did - we will be back!

I'm a midwest transplant to the north-east. When I'm not delivering babies in NYC, I love exploring and being outdoors- gardening, hiking, riding horses. You can usually find me at the farmers market gathering local produce to cook a big meal to share. My dream is to be able to turn this property into a working vegetable and flower farm!

It's only an hour from NYC but feels like a completely different world! It's an ideal entry point for exploring the Hudson Valley.

What makes this property unique

My home was originally a dairy barn built in 1910! It was converted into a house in the 1960's and I have been slowly updating it while retaining its charms. It is the perfect place to host a gathering of friends or family regardless of the season!
