Great spot!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was our second time staying in this exact rental and it was even better than the first time. It's perfect for our family of four. The two pools were so much fun, the location is super close to the beach, and the house was comfortable and clean. There is an old fashion Pac Man arcade game that our family turned into a competition to see who could get the highest score. The only thing that would make the property even better would be an outside water hose to help make rinsing off beach sand easier. Lastly, the customer service when booking through Padre Escapes was outstanding. Heather was extremely friendly and super helpful.

Cozy, convenient, and relaxing

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Address was easy to get to, and didnt have any issues accessing the property. Inside was decorated wonderfully, and the AC was working wonders! Living space was very comfy, and spacious. Towels for every guest, provided dishwasher tabs, 1 pack of laundry suds, and extra trash bags. Utensils and plateware was provided, and in good condition.My only complaint, was when it came to nightime. The beds were very hard (thankfully I like hard beds, but my other guests were a little uncomfy), and the pillows were a little thin. Thankfully we brought our own! Overall, I would stay here again, however I might bring a little bed topper for my guests and make sure to bring our pillows again. The access to beach, TWO swim areas, and home like vacation atmosphere, severely outweighs the bed situation. I would give it a 93/100. The other 7 points would be slightly more bed comfort.

The condo was absolute fabulous. The location is really great too, just minutes away from the beach. But the amenities were not so great. The pool ( peak season) was so cloudy and dirty ( hair tons of sand, band aids and many more ) that we were two grossed out to utilize. We tried it the next day hoping that it would have been cleaned but that wasnt the case. Unfortunately it is one big important factor to have a regularly cleaned pool especially during peak season. This was very unfortunate. And no matter how awesome the apartment was, with children amenities matter.

Good community but

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I had a great experience at this place. The location is fantastic, and the floor plan is really well-designed. The place was clean and nice, but the furniture was a bit dated and old. Our mattress was terrible, and we couldn’t sleep at all. However, everything else was great. I think they just need to update the mattresses and bed frames to make them more comfortable. They should also replace the sheets to make the place even better. Overall, I had a positive experience, and I would definitely recommend this place to others..

Nice Weekend Getaway

Overall, great accommodations, very close to the beach, and nice family pool area! The only disappointment was the Pacman arcade didn't work; work order out it but being a holiday weekend no one came out during our stay

Rain rain go away

Easy access to beach. Stayed indoors for the most part because of rain. There was no grass for the dog on the premise! We had to drive off premise to find some grass for dog which was a big inconvenience!

Very family friendly property. The pool was clean and never too busy to find a place for the adults to relax while the kids finished tiring themselves out. Short walk to the beach. Overall fantastic experience and we look forward to returning!

Clean and family friendly

Clean, family friendly complex with great communication from the owner/management. Whitecap area beaches aren’t my favorite, but they are a very short walk away. We love Mustang State Park and Padre National Park and this complex is a close drive to both. Great pool and playground in the complex, especially for families. Only con is the VRBO listing doesn’t state the pet fee. It’s $100 per pet, which you find out when you sign the rental agreement.

Best place

Beautiful place! Very clean! Very well stocked. Super close to the ocean. Pool was a plus. Loved the marked parking. We are a family of 4 with 2 teenagers. Set up was perfect. Can't wait to come again!

Perfect getaway for 2.

Loved the Half Moon home! It was perfect for my husband and I to get away for the weekend. Very clean, quiet, and comfortable. Just a short walk to the pools and beach.
