Cascade Village Condo - Awesome Views - Heated Pool

Our 1,800 sq. ft. Cascade Village condo (Unit 59) features three bedrooms and three bathrooms. Cascade Village is 2 miles north of Purgatory Ski Resort and 26 miles north of downtown Durango. Silverton is just 22 miles north.

The condo is a great family mountain escape with a fully stocked kitchen, wood burning fireplace (wood provided), two private decks and amazing views. The condominium is fully furnished and offers all the comforts of home. The open living plan and comfortable furnishings and linens all contribute to the warm atmosphere. There is a small gas grill on the main deck.

Please note, due to HOA regulations, this unit, and all of the units at Cascade Village, are NOT pet friendly. Also, trailers are not allowed.

Cascade Village is less than 2 miles north of Purgatory Resort, 26 miles (less than 30 minutes) north of Durango and 25 miles south of Silverton (less than 30 minutes). On-site amenities at Cascade Village include an indoor heated pool, sauna, outdoor/indoor hot tubs and game room with pool table, foosball and several arcade games. There is also a gym, outdoor tennis court (summer and fall only), and ski rental shop.

Purgatory offers a complimentary ski shuttle to our Cascade rental guests on a set schedule 1-2 times in the AM and PM during the ski season, on a first come first serve basis. Details will be provided in your rental instructions.

All of the Cascade Village units are equipped with reliable Fiber Optic internet service with an average internet speed of up to 50 Mbps. In late 2020 Cascade Village moved from cable TV service to all streaming services. While in-house, guests can stream their favorite movies and TV shows on their preferred provider (e.g. Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Prime) using the smart TVs in the unit. Reliable fiber optic service means guests can stream on multiple devices during their stay.

As with all properties in the area, the condo does not have AC. Given the day times highs are rarely above 80 while the lows are in the 40s. Open the windows after the sun is behind the mountains and then close them in the morning along with the blinds that face west. This will keep the house plenty cool.

Book at least a week and a 10% discount is automatically applied (Excludes Christmas/New Years).

Fantastic place to stay!

We very much enjoyed our stay here. It is a short 6 minute drive from the Purgatory ski resort. Condo is very well equipped with kitchen supplies, blankets and towels, a fireplace with available firewood, and beautiful mountain views. We will definitely stay here again!

Loved our stay!

Our family of 4 rented this condo with some friends for a total of 8 people and it was perfect! We liked the location being so close to Purgatory Ski Resort (just a few minutes drive), and there is also a free shuttle to ski as well. The kitchen was well stocked with plenty of dishes, pots/pans, toaster, coffee pot, even had a crock pot. There were also games and some toys to entertain kids. It snowed a lot during our stay and the driveways were kept clear the whole time. The check in/out process was also very easy. Would definitely recommend to others!

We really enjoyed our stay here. The unit was set up nicely for a very comfortable stay. It was very well stocked and had everything we were looking for, except we never did find the community grill. Luckily we brought our own camping grill. They have a toaster, crockpot, all the dishes possible, cooking utensils, wine glasses, and even spices. They had a large selection of games in the loft area and fire wood stocked for the fireplace. They provided a nice selection of soaps, dish detergent, laundry detergent, and even a brand new sponge for our stay. We went to the indoor pool and spa one night and it was great.towels were provided in the unit. The sauna was out of order that day. They also had an outdoor jacuzzi, for those who brave the cold. It’s a very short drive to the ski area which makes it convenient. Unfortunately the snow levels were terrible for skiing while we were there but we found a fun sled hill about 10 miles north.2 Sleds were provided in the condo even. Lots of storage and a great setup for a large family. Just FYI, you park below the condo and go into a private stairwell where you can leave your skis etc. main living is 2nd floor. Upstairs has 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms and loft area couch with sleeper. We will definitely return and recommend this unit. Only issue we had was minor: the upstairs hall bathroom kept backing up. We had to pluge it several times to keep it working. Not a major issue but probably needs a more permanent solution.

Lots of towels, pool towels. Coffee and filters...we brought our own, but they had some. Washer and dryer. Plenty of baking dishes, pots, pan, dishes. Bring your groceries and have a great time. Hot tubs were great. Pool was a little cool for us, but some people used it. Great views and close to ski slopes.

We loved the area up there. The facilities were nice enough. Not sure how they got there but we managed to find 2 fairly long drywall screws on the carpet by the dining table. Easy enough to miss, but definitely could have caused amd unwanted injury.
