Your Mountain Retreat Awaits at Cascade Village

Do you hear it? The mountains are calling and our home in Cascade Village is the answer. Our spacious 3-bed/3-bath home is the perfect place for families and friends to spend time in the beautiful San Juan mountains of Colorado. Step out the front door, and you are hiking in the San Juan National Forest. Take in the majesty of the San Juan mountains including the famous "Needles" peaks from our two decks with wonderful, unobstructed views of Engineer Peak and numerous '14ers'. You can be on the slopes in a matter of minutes with Purgatory ski resort just one mile south offering world-class skiing in the winter, and countless summer activities. A short 20-minute drive down the road and you will be in Durango experiencing all the joys of this wonderful mountain town.

Cascade Village offers some of the best on-site amenities in the area. Kids of all ages will love the game room and indoor pool, hot tub, and dry sauna. Book a meal at the private restaurant, or rent your skis at the private ski shop.

We chose our home and this particular location because of the peaceful surroundings and endless, year-round activities. We know you will make wonderful memories in Cascade Village, and we look forward to hosting you for your next mountain vacation!

Comfortable condo, pleasant (beautiful!) location. This place was just what we needed - accomodation for two generations of adults and a bunk room for the kids. Plenty of room to spread out, everything we needed in the kitchen. Comfortable beds!!! In all, a great vacation in SW Colorado.

Cascade Village, just north of Durango, is nestled deep in the San Juan Mountains and is surrounded by fascinating late 19th century mining towns with a storied history. The mountains are rough and ragged and make for spectacular sunrises. My family has visited multiple times over the years and we’ll surely be back again.

The condo was perfect for our ski trip to Purgatory and very convenient for travel to/from the resort. There is a shuttle to/from the resort and a ski rental shop onsite.

Amazing Spring Break!

We had the best time staying at Cascade Village. The property and amenities were convenient, well kept and suitable for our 2 families with kids ranging from ages 6-10. The space was great and the kitchen well stocked for cooking meals at home.

Great stay for skiing trip

Location is great for skiing, only about a 5 minute drive to purgatory ski resort. Property is clean and cozy, kitchen is well equipped. Would definitely book again.

Great location

We stayed at the condo for 3 nights and had a wonderful time. Nice to have 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. Used the hot tub after skiing and loved it. Close to the slopes. Great value!! Had everything that we needed

This place had everything we needed. Perfect area surrounded by the beautiful mountains view, close to hiking trails. Couldn’t pick the better place. Would definitely recommend and if we ever go back would love to stay there again.

Awesome getaway

Beautiful condo located super close to Purgatory. Gorgeous views of the mountains, very spacious and we had everything needed for our stay. We were also lucky to get 9 inches of snow the first night of our stay which made it the perfect day for skiing and snowboarding.

Whether you are skiing the slopes of Purgatory one mile away or hiking the countless trails throughout the San Juan Mountains, our home provides easy access to it all. For those wanting to kick back and relax, we have space for everyone. Enjoy the views of the famous Needles peaks from one of our two decks, or from floor-to-ceiling windows. Cozy up next to the fire with a good book and warm drink and let the busyness of life fade away. We have windows upstairs blocking off the noise of the loft from below, so send the kids up...you both will be happy :). The indoor pool and indoor or outdoor hot tubs are perks to help make your vacation perfect. Finally, don't forget to stop by our season restaurant for some great dishes from top chefs. Want to cook yourself? Our kitchen is fully stocked like home so you can feed the whole crew. We chose this home for so many reasons, and we are excited for you to experience them yourself!
