Pet Friendly Condo at Purgatory - Great Views and Deck

Our 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom 1,000 sq. ft. East Rim Condo (East Rim A-22) is just steps to the lifts and is located across from Purgatory Lodge in an ideal location offering ultimate all-season convenience.

This condo's location is unbeatable! The East Rim complex is centrally located to the main skier plaza and is just a short walk to the fastest and biggest high speed lift on the mountain, Purgatory Express. Located just a step away from the hustle and bustle, restaurants, shops, and skiing amenities of the primary base village at Purgatory Resort, it offers the convenience of a central location, with the privacy of a mountain-side retreat. With its unbeatable views and cozy interior, our condo is the perfect escape after an epic day on the mountain. This newly furnished and remodeled residence will not disappoint! Bring your Nintendo games as the condo features a Nintendo Switch.

This home is pet friendly! We allow a maximum of 2 dogs max and the pet fee is $40/day (for a max $250 per stay).

The 4% resort fee included in the quote is the required resort fee that must be charged and does not allow access to the Durango Mountain Club. For an additional (and optional) 4% resort fee, you will have access to the Durango Mountain Club which includes an outdoor heated pool with slide, outdoor hot tub and workout facility. When booking, just advise if you would like us to add the additional 4% resort fee.

Please note that, like most properties in the area, this home does not have AC, as it is uncommon for homes at this elevation. Temperatures inside the property are easily managed by using fans and opening the windows at night when temperatures drop into the 40s.

Book at least a week and a 10% discount is automatically applied (Excludes Christmas/New Years).

Went on a family vacation for the summer and everything was amazing. I have 2 small children and they loved that there was a Nintendo switch and toys upstairs. Bunk beds were also a big hit. Thank you for making our stay amazing!

The condo was beautiful, perfect location for snowboarding in and out. Just steps away from lift. We were not very satisfied with the cleanliness of the condo. We communicated with the property manager and we got prompt response.

We had an amazing stay, great property with essential items and enough beds for all of us. Only complaint was that the heating elements on the ground weren’t working properly. It never got toasty. Other than that, it was perfect! And great communication with the owner.

Great Location and Responsive Property Management

There was an excessive amount of dog hair remaining on the rugs and some as well on the couch. The dust pan had been taped on a crack at least twice and several other items in the house are in need of upkeep. Overall, these were minor things and did not detract from my families enjoyment of the property or more importantly the mountain and skiing. Easy access to the mountain and a great view across the valley

East Ridge Condos A22

Close to slopes with great view from the balcony.100 yd walk to ski slope.Full kitchen with a good selection of cookware and dishes. However, these showed a lot of wear and need to be replaced. Linens were clean but stained. There is a drain mat just inside the front door, right next to a baseboard heater which was hot enough to melt a buckle off a ski boot.

Wonderful weather and scenery

It was comfortable and accommodated all of us but for a condo that the owner is paying someone to maintain should have a talk with the company or person. The shower curtain needs changing, the front doorknob is about to fall off, dishes, utensils and pots had food partials after going thru the dishwashing process. Beautiful view and nice condo but needs some attention.

The LOCATION offers sweeping views of the snow covered San Juan Mountains. From the balcony you can see and hear the Waterfall! That flows just beneath the deck! The convenience to the resort amenities was unreal. We just walked across the street to the pool, jacuzzi, restaurants and slopes! It truly felt like we lived at the resort. The condo itself was so beautifully decorated in a modern mountain style. The beds were the most comfortable we have ever slept on. So much so that we will be buying the same mattress for our home now. The home had everything we needed and more. It felt just like home. This place was the highlight of our weeklong trip. We didn’t want to leave and wish we had planned to stay longer!

Reviewer Comments: The location was perfect, views were great, and space worked well for our trip. We had a good experience overall, but I was surprised by the condition of the unit. Upon arrival, I noticed the bistro table was disassembled, and half of its hardware kit missing. I assembled the legs and tabletop, best I could, using 2 wing nuts. One Adirondack chair's folding mechanisms was broken. The fireplace was full of ash and partially burned logs.The flatware and glassware required cleaning.None of these detracted from our weekend experience but they were unexpected, noticeable and required our attention.
