Sweet Magnolia is a lovely and comfortable house. The location, close to downtown Beaufort, is also a nice feature.

Beautiful House, Beautiful Location.

We rented this house for our son's graduation from the Marine Corps Boot Camp on Parris Island and it was just perfect.

Fun weekend in Beaufort

My girlfriend and I enjoyed the local cuisine and the international film festival. We had a great time!I don't know if this is the place to report it, but the batteries in the remote control in the living room and the batteries in smoke detector need to be changed.

Beautiful home in Beaufort

This home was very comfortable, had everything you’d need and in a great location for exploring Beaufort. The upstairs suites are phenomenal with spacious porches with seating both front and back. Downstairs porches great for morning coffee and watching the neighborhood. We decided to stay an extra day in Beaufort as there’s a lot to do and learn and we’re very disappointed that it was already rented. A great place to stay

Highly Disappointed

We were very disappointed when we arrived since we were told by text that all bedrooms were upstairs and that was not the case. This caused some problems with our 10 month old grandschild. The furniture in the house needs to be updated and replaced. Torn covers on dining room chairs, carpet stains and needs to be cleaned or replaced. Also, the exterior of the property is in absolutley poor condition with green mold everywhere, paint peeling off the wood, steps wobbly, screens missing on the porches, furniture was nasty and couldn't be set on, broken game machine on back porch, shingles coming off the roof, overgrown bushes, ants all in the little bit of grass, firepit and bicycles are trash and should be thrown out. Abandoned car in front of house and I reported to management compan with no removal. The American flag is shredded and needs to be discarded. The pictures on VRBO should be updated since it appears that they are at least 5 years old. I call this false advertisement.

Thank you for sharing your feedback. We're truly sorry to hear that your experience did not meet expectations, and we appreciate you taking the time to bring these concerns to our attention. We understand how important accurate information is when planning a stay, especially with young children involved. We're reviewing the property listing and the communication provided to ensure that it clearly reflects the layout of the home. Your comments regarding the condition of both the interior and exterior of the property are being taken seriously. We are currently conducting a full inspection to address maintenance needs, including the furniture, cleanliness, landscaping, and safety issues you mentioned. The presence of the abandoned vehicle, the condition of the American flag, and the outdoor amenities you referenced are unacceptable and not representative of the experience we strive to offer. We're following up internally and with our vendor teams to make the necessary changes quickly. Your experience does not align with the standards we work hard to maintain, and we’re committed to making this right. Thank you again for your honesty—it allows us to take the necessary steps to improve.
