Welcome to this three bedroom, 2 bath, historic downtown home built in 1897. It is located within a short walk of beautiful downtown Beaufort with all the quality restaurants and shops as well as the beautiful waterfront.

The house has a wealth of traditional Southern charm and is well furnished with antiques from Europe as well as original artwork. Upstairs offers Queen Size, master bedroom accommodation and bathroom with a claw foot tub. There is a further Double Size bedroom upstairs as well as a quaint second lounge room with original floors and a fireplace. The upstairs lounge has a second plasma TV and access to the balcony where you can sit, relax and watch the world go by.

Downstairs offers a dining area with seating for eight and a sitting room/lounge area complete with a brand new 40” Samsung flat screen television with Roku TV.

Downstairs also has a third Queen Sized bedroom with a desk for those who simply have to work. There is also a second bathroom.

We just completed a major remodel for the downstairs. The kitchen has been enlarged and has all new appliances, new sink, all new cabinets and new wood flooring. The bathroom has all new fixtures and flooring. The new washer/dryer is located in a closet on the first floor. See these new photos.

Outside, guests are invited to enjoy some well earned downtime in the comfortable yard that has a gas fired BBQ. The yard is fully fenced and we welcome small pets.

Not only is everything Downtown Beaufort right on your doorstep, but Beaufort is conveniently located for trips to nearby Hunting Island, Hilton Head with its beaches, and just over an hour away, are the charming Southern Cities of Savannah and Charleston. For the families of Parris Island graduates, this home is located just about 10 minutes drive away from the Parris Island Gateway and offers the perfect opportunity for family groups to enjoy a luxurious and comfortable stay together. Fabulous Beaufort is located just one hour from Savannah/Hilton Head airport.

Cozy house in a great location

It was our first trip to Beaufort and wanted to stay where it was convenient, couldn’t have asked for a better place. We had all that we needed in the house and loved the fact we could just park the car and walk to shops, dinner, the park, and many trips to kilwins.

No Communication - No Access to Property - Stay Canceled

A couple days before check in, we received the standard email from VRBO with address and details of property. In that email, it stated that we should call the property manager, Tom, at the number provided for "access instructions." We arrived at the property at 5:00pm (one hour after check in time) and called the number. It went to voicemail. We also sent a text per the message. We waited and waited. No call back. We ended up sitting in the driveway of the property for 1.5 hours. We called VRPO customer service and they too tried to reach Tom. Finally, the gave us a full refund. Got a text the next day from Tom saying he was very sorry, offered us to stay free in the home but by this time we had already drive back to hour home 3 hours away and unpacked. He offered us a weekend stay at a later date. We will see if that pans out. In the meantime, this was to be my b'day present from my husband. Certainly not a great outcome.

Comfortable downtown

This was a delightful place that was comfortable to be in. Lots of natural light with interesting artwork on the walls and very well appointed. it is close to downtown, so walkable to shops and restaurants. This is one of the best rentals I have been in!

Amazing house

Charming and convenient stay

Very convenient and short walk to historic downtown. Off-street parking and fenced backyard were a bonus. Home was charming, clean and comfortable. Check in was easy. Very close to St Helena’s church. Enjoyed hearing the church bells and visiting the site.

Waterfront Resort

If anyone knows anything about Beaufort the waterfront park is definitely one of the more iconic spots. My family and I had the pleasure to stay within walking distance of the beautifully historic district for my younger sister’s wedding. Tom was a phenomenal host as he was very attentive to any need that our family faced to include the password to the WiFi. Thank you so much for allowing us to stay in your wonderful home.

Cute house walking distance to downtown

We really enjoyed our stay! The location was wonderful--easy walking distance to downtown. The house was fun and quirky and very cozy and clean, with plenty of space for a group. The property manger was easy to get in touch with and very nice. Would recommend!

Historical Beaufort

We loved having a place to have family all together while visiting our enlisted son-in-law, daughter, and grandson. The backyard has such a wonderful southern feel, and our dogs loved it also. Overall cleanliness was excellent - but deeper areas such as floor vent filters and fan blades needed attention. First time at a VRBO, remembering all the checkout details was challenging. I think we forgot to adjust thermostats. I will definitely investigate VRBOs for future needs. Loved the family oriented feel.

Lovely home

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. This home is very comfortable and perfect for the old house lover. It's not a large house, but a cozy one. The home owner has included nice little touches to make one feel welcome. Yes, the floors are a little wonky, but for an old house lover, who cares!?! And, it's convenient to everything!

Beaufort reunion

We met friends and family for visit to Beaufort. If you enjoy old houses, this is for you - low ceilings, small rooms, and unlevel floors, none of which bothered us. It was perfectly located for us and we spent a lot of time in town. We entertained family to a cookout lunch and had plenty of room. The bathrooms were adequate and kitchen had everything we needed. I would suggest replacing the bed in the downstairs bedroom. Yes, I would look to rent this again. I enjoyed the quirks of this century old home.

The house was charming. Loved the location, it was very close to everything.

The renting process was easy, we arrived earlier than the check in time and Thomas allowed us to check in early. I would definitely recommend this home and I intend to come back next year.
