This place is so charming! We visited the area for my son's graduation from Marines boot camp and it couldn't have been more perfect. Close to base and located in a cool historic neighborhood. There were no surprises with the house and Tom was a great host!

Great location! We really enjoyed our stay in this historic home. No complaints at all. Our host, Thomas was very helpful and friendly with his communications. Beaufort is one of our favorite places and we would definitely stay here again.

What a cool historic home! Incredibly clean, comfy beds, plenty of space to spread out. Excellent kitchen if you want to cook (we didn’t this time). Tom was quick with responding. Loved the charm and character of a home built a couple centuries ago. Gorgeous wood floors, lots of stained glass, away from the Main Street noise but so close - park your car & walk everywhere! We’d stay here again in heartbeat!

The smell of the old house greets you as you walk through the door, and with every step, you can hear and feel the history of the home and surrounding area speaking to you. The creaking floors, aged wood, and timeless character seem to tell stories of generations long before us.My family and I frequent Beaufort and have stayed in many wonderful places over the years, but this home is undoubtedly one of the very best we've experienced.We spent countless hours on the second-floor balcony overlooking Newcastle Street, imagining what that same view must have looked like a century ago. Horse-drawn carriages traveling dusty roads, neighbors greeting one another from their porches, and life moving at a much slower pace. Sitting there, you almost feel transported back in time.What makes this home remarkable is that it offers more than a place to stay. It offers an experience. For a brief moment, you feel as though you've become part of Beaufort's history.In a world where so much of the past has been replaced by the new, it's refreshing to find a home that still holds on to its soul.We've made countless memories visiting Beaufort, but this stay will always rank among our favorites. We would gladly return, if only to spend another quiet evening on that balcony, watching the world go by and imagining the Beaufort of a hundred years ago.A truly special home that captures the history, charm, and soul of the Lowcountry.

Cozy house in a great location

It was our first trip to Beaufort and wanted to stay where it was convenient, couldn’t have asked for a better place. We had all that we needed in the house and loved the fact we could just park the car and walk to shops, dinner, the park, and many trips to kilwins.

Nice historic place

We just stayed a few days for 4th of July. We enjoyed the convenience of it being so close to Bay Street. We walked there daily. The house is old of course but well decorated and well kept. Plenty of room and we enjoyed the upstairs porch.

Comfortable downtown

This was a delightful place that was comfortable to be in. Lots of natural light with interesting artwork on the walls and very well appointed. it is close to downtown, so walkable to shops and restaurants. This is one of the best rentals I have been in!

Very close to USMC Marine Corps base for early rises! Quaint and picturesque environment of era gone by with beautiful surroundings, antiques and decor. Kitchen nicely furnished. Moderate but easy walk to downtown restaurants. Extra parking at graveyard if needed.

We really enjoyed our stay! The location was wonderful--easy walking distance to downtown. The house was fun and quirky and very cozy and clean, with plenty of space for a group. The property manger was easy to get in touch with and very nice. Would recommend!

Charming and convenient stay

Very convenient and short walk to historic downtown. Off-street parking and fenced backyard were a bonus. Home was charming, clean and comfortable. Check in was easy. Very close to St Helena’s church. Enjoyed hearing the church bells and visiting the site.
