About this property

Our East Hill Hideaway is located in Historic East Hill just two miles from down town Pensacola, 7.5 miles from Pensacola Beach, and only 3.5 miles from Pensacola International Airport. The Hideaway’s private entrance is located on the side of our home through a gate and up the stairs to the second-story deck/patio. You will have private access to a small outdoor yard space, the second-story deck/patio, on-site parking, and of course, your guest suite.

The space
Nestled on the second story of our 1917 Craftsman, the Hideaway is a completely private suite with a full bathroom (complete with the original cast iron bathtub). It has a queen bed, couch, coffee table, and love seat, as well as a small dining table and kitchenette. The stairs leading to the space connect to a large patio/balcony to enjoy a view in the trees- perfect for morning coffee, late night drinks, or some mid-day yoga.

Other things to note
We have a chicken coop in our part of the backyard. You might hear them clucking around or see them free ranging the backyard, but don't worry, no roosters!

We live downstairs with our two dogs. They are sectioned off from your space, but they can poke their noses over the fence (it’s about 5ft high). No space is shared, and you won't see us, unless you have questions or need us to address a concern. You may hear us from time to time, but we aren’t overly noisy… no one plays drums.

Last thing, no smoking or vaping please.

Wonderfully Pleasant!

Wonderful stay at this perfect hideaway! Everything we needed was provided and more, with personal touches everywhere. Peaceful and quiet location that is close to everything Pcola has to offer. Thank you so much, we will def be back!

We are Kailey and Jason and we always love getting to be part of making someone's trip memorable.
I'm Kailey and I'll be the point person for your stay. I grew up in Wisconsin (yes I'm a cheesehead) but I've lived in Pensacola since 2010.
My husband Jason grew up in various places along the East Coast as part of a military family. He has lived in Northwest Florida for 20 years. We both enjoy hiking, (Jason is a runner... I ride the bike alongside...) going to the beach, finding good places to eat, and trying new breweries.

We love taking short weekend getaways and we aren't always able to plan them out very far in advance, for that reason, we are happy to return the favor of allowing short stays and short-notice bookings to our guests. We manage the property ourselves and pass the savings along to you by not charging an extra cleaning fee so if you only stay a few nights, you won't have to pay any extra charges other than the nightly rate. We love being able to offer a place to stay that is centrally located to all the best parts of Pensacola and at an affordable rate.

Why they chose this property

East Hill is a historic neighborhood located just outside of downtown Pensacola. Our neighborhood is known for large Oak Trees, historic homes, quirky neighbors, and very walkable streets. We have Alga Brewing, Tacos Mexicanos (our favorite food truck), the bottle shop (our favorite wine store), and Brown Bagger (a burger food truck).

What makes this property unique

Our home was built in 1917 and your suite boasts the original heart-pine floors. Jason built the deck himself with plenty of room to hangout and enjoy some fresh air. The suite is on the second story, making you feel like you are hidden away in the trees. The natural light makes the space cheery and inviting. Our East Hill Hideaway has the same amenities as a hotel, but with a personal touch, and an affordable nightly rate.
