Welcome to our home, CASA COSTA PALMERA, steps away from the Pacific Ocean on the wonderful sands of Playa Grande, Costa Rica. Nestled in the coconut palm trees, built on the sands of the beach, Casa Costa Palmera (sleeps 13) is a vacation home that will leave you breathless. Playa Grande has been rated in the top 30 as one of the best beaches on earth. Casa Costa Palmera just so happens to be exactly 40 paces away from where the picture were taken for the magazine. Swim and surf right outside the house. NO volcanic rock obstructions which limit water activities at other nearby beaches. We are located in
Playa Grande 200 meters north of the Hotel Las Tortugas. OUR HOUSE IS LOCATED ON THE BEACH. Literally, the beach is your backyard.

Costa Palmera has one of the best beachfront views on the entire coast. Whether you are coming to the gorgeous Central American country of Costa Rica for a great adventure or to get away from it all, we can accommodate you. The amazing hand crafted woodwork and the beautiful granite counter tops inside this 4 bedroom beach home will truly make you feel like you are on a vacation for the memories. Our home has a privately built-in swimming pool with swim-up stools and BBQ area. Excellent maid service is included daily. We provide linens and beach/bath towels. Cooking is available at an additional cost. Theo, a private masseuse can be hired and massages performed on the premises. Guard on the property at night.

Unlike many vacation properties, Costa Palmera is open and airy, doused with a contemporary touch in the interior of the home. This 4-bedroom beach house has furnishings in every room, along with air conditioning in all rooms. The kitchen and dining room face out towards the ocean leaving for an alluring view of the Pacific Ocean and magnificent sunsets at dusk. The house is equipped with WIFI, making it possible for one to accomplish their daily tasks at work while basking in the sun and enjoying their tropical get away.

Also known as Las Baulas National Marine Park, Playa Grande is a sanctuary for the leatherback turtles whom every year return to the shoreline to lay their eggs. Because the beachfront is nationally protected, it is one of the cleanest beaches in the country. The shoreline is also relatively flat, making for a great place to take your shoes off and go for an evening walk after dinner. Whether you’re on a honeymoon or a surprise birthday vacation, executive or yoga retreat, Costa Palmera is fully equipped to handle
all groups.

Known for its consistent world-class surf, Playa Grande is a surfer’s paradise. The winds are frequently off shore making for well-shaped waves and great surf. Unlike many prestigious surf breaks, the flat, sand-bottomed beach of Playa Grande makes it possible for surfers of all skill levels to have a great time. Surf lessons are just a phone call away right out in front of the villa.

The things to do are left to the imagination to explore, including golfing, horseback riding, rain forest excursions, volcano tours, ATVing, fishing, sailing, and much more.

With Playa Flamingo to the north and the quaint beach town of Tamarindo a few miles to the south, Playa Grande is at the epicenter of Guanacaste. Tamarindo has great nightlife on weekends and is a great place to have a lively evening with friends and family. There are a few family owned restaurants near the house, along with a fully equipped surf shop to rent surf boards and/or purchase apparel and many other items.

Included in the rental rate is all fees, wireless Internet, maid service, and nightly security.

The owners take great care making sure Casa Costa Palmera is the best rental house on the beach. Repairs and upgrades occur frequently as the proximity to salt water and air can wear on the house quicker than non-beachfront homes. Please immediately alert staff and management if anything is NOT working properly at the house. We need to know.
