The house is beautiful and clean. Everything was in order; I would easily recommend a stay at this peaceful place, with easy access to restaurants—and, above all, just minutes from the great Lake Michigan.

The house was great! 5 bedrooms. Perfect for our family. Quiet neighborhood. It was next to the Amtrak tracks but you rarely heard the train. Just south of New Buffalo. Pool needed work but the host and pool company took care of it.

This beautiful home has the benefit of feeling very secluded and private, but is also an easy 1.5 mile walk into downtown New Buffalo. It is very spacious and well appointed. Seamless check in and check out. While it was clean, it is a little worn down - one of the bar stools is broken and several pieces of furniture are stained. That's my only complaint. Otherwise a lovely place.

Property was in excellent shape. Pool was an amazing asset. Even though it rained all weekend the kids stayed in it all day. Family comes from all over the country for a Notre Dame football game every year. This rental was among the best. We will definitely be considering it for next year’s game. One small issue, for the size of the house the pans and lack of a crockpot was annoying. We had another group staying down the street so we were able to borrow from them but larger fry pans would be great.

Loved the pool, hot tub and house! Close to everything. Great house for multiple people. Everyone had a place to go to if they wanted some privacy. Only suggestion-A couple of the beds and couches could use an upgrade.

Girls Weekend

We stayed at the property to celebrate a friend receiving her Master’s Degree. Management was a pleasure to work with. They communicated with me making sure everything need was meet. The property was gorgeous and the neighbors were so nice. I will definitely book here again. Highly recommend. Thank you sharing your lovely home!

Satisfaction

This was the 3rd year we have rented this property, it has met our needs for a nice summertime reunion of the families of our 3 adult sons. The young cousins all were requesting a second week! They are all swimmers so the great pool got a nice workout!

Clean, well-supplied house (bring your own coffee or K-cups, tho). Hot tub was clean and in good condition. Separate towels are supplied (there is an abundance of towels/hand towels/washcloths as well as kitchen towels). Kitchen fairly well supplied as well. It’s hard to keep all three levels comfortable (no zone thermostats), so bear that in mind. Secure, private. A fast train runs very close but isn’t disruptive. Otherwise, quiet neighborhood with facilities nearby. The advertised “year round” refers only to the hot tub. BEFORE YOU COMMIT, contact the property manager for dates the heated pool is available. I failed to do so and had some disappointed granddaughters. But they enjoyed the hot tub.

Jennifer, thanks for the commentary on the property and we try to be rather upfront about what amenities are available for the time of year. In early April, we do not have any outdoor pools open at that time. Weather is too tempermental. We do hope you would consider coming back again and we would like to do something special for you and your granddaughters since they didn't experience the pool. Please let us know.

11 of us total stayed here with 5 adults, 6 kids. Property was generally clean (minor things like bugs in windows or some dirt / old food on the flow) but nothing too bad. The size and bedrooms of the house worked well for the group. 2 main recommendations, some of which has been mentioned in other reviews:1. Outdoor furniture and the living room furniture could use an upgrade - both are worn well and in case of living room, some additional pieces / layout would better accommodate a group our size.2. Despite there being plenty of space for our group, which includes 5 bedrooms, there were not enough bath towels. Only 2 per bathroom (or 6 total) were provided, with no extras found anywhere else in the house.The above is minor and we would stay here again.

What a wonderful week we had in New Buffalo. We were there with my 3 adult children, their significant others, and under-2 grandson. The rooms were spacious and clean. We would have loved to use the pool more, but that was a product of touch weather and not access. Completely out of their control. I had a bunch of questions early in the trip and they could NOT have been more responsible and gracious in their responses. We were close enough to town to access quickly, but not right on the beach. It is right on the Amtrak line and the look of excitement my grandson got when he heard the horn was priceless. If we go back to New Buffalo, we would absolutely seek this out again.
