We had a wonderful stay at Sunny Days Lake House. The home is beautiful, clean, and very well maintained, tucked away in a quiet cove that made for a peaceful and relaxing getaway.The host was extremely accommodating and thoughtful—he even reached out ahead of our trip to introduce himself and make sure we had everything we needed, which we really appreciated.There was plenty of space for everyone to spread out comfortably, and the highlight for us was definitely the deck overlooking the lake. We spent so much time out there enjoying the view—it truly made the experience special.Highly recommend this property, and we would absolutely stay here again!

This was our third stay at this property. Kids were very excited about all the gaming opportunities, the proximity to the arcade, and of course, the fishing and the swimming off the dock. The family loved the lake view, the well supplied kitchen, and overall experience. We plan to be back!

Sunny Days is a great location and close to everything. The house was great. The walk up/down from the dock isn't bad at all. My only feedback is we noticed cameras on the dock, which is the owners right to have, but I feel like it should be disclosed in the listing, in case folks aren't comfortable with the idea of potentially being recorded.

Everything was great. We cant wait to have the opportunity to go back to this house. Clean, well stocked kitchen, views, communication. Everything was great! The only thing was VRBO did not email us the house code. Not the owners fault! Very good at reaching out and answering our calls. Again we will hopefully be back sometime in the future!

We had a wonderful stay with our kids and grandkids. We all enjoyed swimming off the dock without having to worry about boat traffic. Kitchen was large with plenty of room for cooking meals. Loved sitting on the screened in porch in the mornings, especially the swing! House is in a great location, near grocery store and Bridgewater plaza was fun for everyone. Ken was an amazing host, responded to all questions quickly and was very accommodating. Would highly recommend staying here.

Everything was beautiful. Only issue we had was the bed that was downstairs was really dirty when we pulled the covers back. There was alot of hair and quarers in the bed so ws know the sheets hadnt been Changed on that bed. Everything else was neat and clean.

The property is conveniently located near marinas and shops. The house is nicely renovated and well stocked. The outdoor spaces are perfect for relaxing by the lake! They even have a nice fire pit area right next to the water which made a perfect end to our days out and about around the lake. Highly recommend!

Shelley and I have been married over 31years and have always had a passion for enjoying a good get-away. In 2011, we decided to switch our stays at the ocean and head inland to a lake not too far from us. Needless to say, we fell in love with Lake Life! In 2014, we had some great friends of ours invite us down to Smith Mountain Lake. While it was a bit farther, we couldn't stop thinking about how beautiful the mountainous lake was and the deep waters Smith Mountain Lake had to offer.

Why they chose this property

Sunny Days captured our heart for a few main reasons:

1. LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION! - Sunny Days is moments away from grocery stores, restaurants, shopping and probably most important, Bridgewater Plaza (Home of the self-proclaimed, "Family Fun Center".

2. Water Depth - Sunny Days off of the dock averages about 12' deep. This gives plenty of depth for those both young and young at heart to not worry about jumping / diving in the water and getting to the bottom.

3. Water Location - Sunny Days is very convenient via water to both north and south areas on the lake. With SML having over 500 miles of shoreline, being centrally located allows for nice morning / sunset cruises without eating up your whole day.

4. Family Space - While there is plenty of room for your whole family to get together, we wanted a property that allowed those times when families want to spread out.
