This cabin plus one other at Pine Haven provided the perfect location for our adult family gathering. Comfortable beds and a bathroom for every bedroom. Plenty of seating. Great porch. Well stocked kitchen. Large dining table. We did not use the dock or the lovely pickleball Court. We did use the very nice firepit behind our cabin.

We were very comfortable, except the basement was always cold. When we had trouble with no water, the owner fixed it immediately.We loved the free eggs and had a very enjoyable trip to the owner's farm.My granddaughters absolutely LOVED kayaking!

Great Girls Getaway!

We had the best bachelorette weekend celebrating my sister! All four girls were able to have their own private space - no one had to share any beds or bathrooms with each other! The huge sectional sofas were super comfortable and spacious - perfect for watching lots of classic wedding movies. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed, including some amazing farm fresh eggs that really elevated the scrambled eggs and French toast we made for breakfast (thanks so much)! The views were unbeatable and were able to be enjoyed from anywhere inside or outside of the house. We used the gazebo many times for picnics and sip and paints, relaxed on the deck, and spent our last night gathered around the fire making s’mores and telling stories (loved the option to add-on fire wood delivery, thank you again)! We had the best time and would love to plan another stay here someday. Thank you for an amazing weekend!

Went with 3 other couples to celebrate my husbands 50th birthday. The house was perfect for our needs. All couples had their own room and bathroom. The kitchen was fully stocked with anything you could possibly need and the gas provided grill was a nice perk. Plenty of towels and blankets. Hot tub, pool table and fire pit were fun added amenities that were definitely used. Wifi was great, house was clean. We docked our boat and left in the water without issues. Peaceful compound of rental cabins. Definitely would recommend!

Beautiful cabin

A peaceful spot with a beautiful back deck offering beautiful lake views. Extremely clean! The cabin was spacious with a cozy feel, and my family of 7 was extremely comfortable. The host was very responsive and answered all my questions right away.

The cabin was very clean and cozy. It was well stocked with books, games and puzzles. The pool table was beautiful. You could do as much or as little as you wanted. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook our meals. I would highly recommend this rental.

This is a brand new house set-up for family gatherings. The basement has its own tv and pool table for the late night crowd. Upstairs has the same tv setup w nice kitchen table and good kitchen for group cooking. Upstairs bedrooms are both nice. All bedrooms have walkin showers. The stairs getting to the lake are steep so care is needed there. Overall a grwat place for us.

There was a secondary company that charged a fee. This was not stated upfront, only AFTER a down payment was made.There is a smal window in the living room, so to see the lake, u have to intentionally go stand in front of the window. I could feel a cold draft in the living room.

VRBO charges a fee. That is the company the guest booked the property through. The rest of her booking was paid to us. She paid only what was agreed to. We never charge any extra fee. You can see the lake from every room in this house. There is not “one small window that looks out at the lake”. The house is a brand new log home and is not drafty. She wrote this review because she wanted to check in very early for free. We gave her a one hour early check in but she wanted more. We love our guests and this business, but occasionally you have people who are untruthful. Please read our other truthful reviews.

The house was beautiful.However, it was not the best option for us with two small children. It is a three story home with no baby gates provided. The steps to the lake were extremely steep, creating a fall hazard and because the lake level was low, the floating dock was low enough that it created a ramp down to the dock, which the children could not accommodate and had to be passed from one adult to another and it was also steep enough that it was difficult for 2 of the adults to be able to come up the ramp.Some sort of rails would be very appropriate for safety. The view was beautiful. The house was comfortable. The beds were comfortable. There are games to play and a pool table. The hot tub was very nice. It was just not the right choice for our family and worth noting if others have young children or older family members. The water pressure in the home was extremely low. Communicating with the owners was poor. I received text messages but when I sent questions I never received a response. I also received messages on VRBO but never received any response to those either. A telephone call was answered. The home was well stocked to meet our needs including toilet paper, paper towels, laundry soap, etc

The lake steps are standard for Smith Mountain Lake properties and are no steeper than typical waterfront homes in the area.
