Our home is located at the corner of Jefferson and Beach Ave, beach front with spectacular views from everywhere in the house. Enjoy all 4 decks with a cup of coffee or happy hour in the evening. It has one of the best locations in Cape May with only 1 block from the convention center, 4 blocks to Washington St. Mall. Walking distance to everywhere in town including great restaurants, ice cream shops and great shopping. Mini golf is located at the end of the block and bike rentals too. There are guarded beaches directly in front of the house. This is a great house for multiple families to vacation together. Don't miss this Great Escape!!!

Great from start to finish.

This was my first homeaway adventure and I was hoping I would find a reasonable house that could fit my large extended family coming in from 3 states. This house was not reasonable; it was exceptional. Amazing location. The beach is right there across the street, the shopping, stores and restaurants are all right there. No more than a short walk to anything. The home is so well built that you could be on the second floor and not even hear the 5 year olds running amok downstairs.

Elizabeth made it easy too, communication couldn't have been better. Thanks for a great weekend. Hoping for a return trip soon.

A great getaway in Cape May!

This was my fifth visit to Cape May and my third year in a row renting a home- The dog house was hands down my favorite!

We had 50 some-things down to 19-year-olds and everybody loved this house! It is so conveniently located across the street from the beach! Have to use the bathroom? Want to grab a bite to eat? I need to make a phone call for work? Not really a beach person and need to get out of the sun and read a book? Forgot something? It's literally a five minute commute! Not only is it close to your beach blanket but adults and kids alike can walk into town in 15 minutes.

Our crew of people love to cook. The dog house has a very spacious kitchen and comes with an ice maker which, if you think about it, is invaluable at the beach house! The grill is right outside if you choose to Bar-B-Q. It has a huge dining room table for meals or playig board games with your crew! It also has a mini apartment on the third floor for a teenage hang out place, babies for napping in peace, or for the people that snore really loud! There is another fridge and kitchen up there too which proved invaluable for us! The bedrooms were all cozy, two of them having balconies-nothing better than waking up, opening the door, stepping onto a balcony to breath in the ocean and check the weather! The outdoor shower was the best one yet! Very spacious, clean and private- so refreshing! Everything was really terrific but if you asked all 22 of us (18 people at a time), everyone will tell you its the front porch that holds this house's charm. It will instantly destress you!

When renting this house you must realize.... something this good does not come without great responsibility. You have to dress the huge cement dogs on each side or the steps in the front! Everyone looks to see what they are wearing and asks to take pictures with them- dont let them down!

I would highly reccomend that you rent this house- just dont choose my week! Lol

Beautiful House!

We stayed here in November 2014 and had a spectacular time. The house is beautiful, filled with character and charm. It is in the perfect location, especially for the off season since everything is in walking distance even on chilly days. The owner is very helpful and accommodating. We are hoping to rent again soon.

Loved it!

We rented this house for a girls/bachelorette weekend and it was a huge success. The location absolutely cannot be beat. It is only a few steps from the beach as well as great restaurants and shops. The big porch is perfect for hanging out in large groups -- even on a rainy day! Also, the girls could not stop raving about the ice maker in the kitchen which is super convenient! Would highly recommend this house to large groups of friends or families.

Love the dog house!

This is the third time we have stayed at this property, first time under this owner. We love staying on Beach Avenue and this house has it all. It easily slept the 18 of us with ample off-street parking. Our kids are now old enough to easily walk down to the shops on the promenade or to the Washington Mall. The house was clean upon arrival. The kitchen's ice maker rocked and the kitchen as a whole was well stocked with anything you needed. We've rented houses where this was not the case. This is our 15th summer down in Cape May and this is one of the best houses to rent by far. Beach tags are provided for most in the property and everything was updated nicely. With our kids' changing schedules, not sure if we can return to Cape May again next summer. If so, we will definitely rent this house again (for the 4th time!)

Great house for an extended family; excellent location

Our extended family (grandparents, 4 adult siblings and their families) stayed here in June, 2014. The house is well-maintained and has plenty of room for a large group. The 3rd floor apartment is perfect for members of the group who need a little more privacy or quiet (e.g., an infant who takes afternoon naps). The front porch is perfect for watching people pass on the Promenade. The beach is just across the street; it also is an easy walk to restaurants and putt-putt. We brought bikes and rode to the lighthouse, but bike rentals are available nearby. Highly recommended for a family vacation in Cape May!
