We love staying here because of the location, the view and sound of the water , the ease of booking and the friendliness and professionalism of the staff. We had a great time during our stay. The first 2 times we stayed here I had no complaints at all. I only have one complaint this time and it’s about the carpet in this particular room. There were several bad stains on the carpet that looked like where a dog had peed. The carpet in this unit needs to be cleaned better and if the stains cannot be removed it needs to be replaced.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We always have a good stay at Park Place. We've never had a problem. Great location, very clean, perfect for us. This stay we had a problem / inconvenience with other guest smoking weed on the balcony. We like to sit outside on the balcony before bed and listen to the river and it was almost impossible to do so for the smell of cigarette and weed smoke. This has never happened before and I'm not sure what the solution would be as I feel this will be a growing issue in the future. I know they have a no smoking policy inside the units. Other than that, we had a great stay as always.

Reviewer Comments: For the most part we had a great experience, there were a few minor issues but they took care of them for us and made it right. These condos are so in need of updating, new beds,bedding,mattress as the current beds are clean but very uncomfortable. But as far as location this place has it, the view is great. Just some major updating needs to happen, it would make it a different place. We will be back for sure you just cannot beat how close but yet away it is from the main drag of Gatlinburg. Thanks

Loved the balcony facing the relaxing to listen to. It is located at the very end of the main strip and was easy to navigate to if you took the Gatlinburg bypass. Lots of activities in walking distance. We were happy overall.

Far West end of town right at the entrance to the Smoky Mountains Park.The room is dated and in need of repairs. The hide-a-bed couch had no mattress and while opening it to see we found LOTS of crumbs and wrappers, etc... from previous occupants. The larger couch also has a piece of plywood under the cushions which made it very uncomfortable to sit on.In general the room needs a make over.The staff was very friendly.Good place to stay IF you get a good room.

Best of Both Worlds

Reviewer Comments: Love staying at Park Place as you can enjoy both scenic nature from your balcony whilst being within walking distance to downtown Gatlinburg! The staff is helpful and courteous. The condo is clean and provides everything you need. The price is good too! Why anyone would choose a hotel room (more $) vs. a condo unit, I will never know! We enjoyed our recent stay and will always choose this location for future visits.
