This is not a ski condo. This is seclusion, by design.
The Experience
Walls of glass frame the trees like living art. Morning light filters through the pines; evenings settle into stillness. Inside and outside blur in a way that makes you feel removed from everything — yet within reach of it all.
Spend the day skiing Breckenridge or Copper Mountain, hiking high-country trails, or exploring alpine lakes — then return to the quiet side of the Rockies, where traffic disappears and the only sound is wind in the trees.
The interiors are furnished with layered rugs, natural textures, and carefully selected artwork — inviting slow afternoons, conversation, and reflection.
Kitchen & Dining — Built for Shared Evenings
This is a true chef’s kitchen, designed for the ritual of gathering.
Bosch appliances, a six-burner gas cooktop, and double ovens support everything from intimate dinners to celebratory feasts.
Dual dishwashers and expansive stone counters make hosting effortless.
At the center of the home, a handcrafted dining table seats 10 comfortably — built for holidays, ski-week celebrations, and the kind of lingering dinners that turn into stories retold for years. This is a home made for shared meals and lasting memories.
Work, Play & Restoration
Whether you’re here for a long weekend or an extended mountain stay, the layout allows everyone to gather — and still retreat into their own space.
Dedicated Loft Workspace
Overlooking the pines, with Starlink high-speed internet and complete quiet — ideal for focused work without sacrificing the mountain experience.
The Library & Game Loft
A relaxed upstairs lounge featuring a custom library of novels, local history, and architecture and design titles. Whether you are settling in for a quiet afternoon of reading or a friendly tournament of foosball, cornhole, or board games, this space is designed for restoration.
Primary Suite
A King bed with premium linens and a private deck set the tone for slow mornings. The six-foot marble soaking tub positioned beside the trees creates a true spa-in-the-woods experience.
Flexible Sleeping
Two additional Queen ensuite bedrooms and two sleeping lofts with double beds (ladder access) provide versatile arrangements for families and close friends.
Outdoor Living
Step off the deck and you are already immersed in nature.
Private access to the Colorado Trail places world-class hiking and mountain biking at your doorstep.
Evenings are best spent in the six-person hot tub or gathered around the propane fire pit beneath some of the clearest night skies in Colorado. Nights here often end quietly around the fire, watching the stars appear above the trees.
Moose, elk, deer, and fox are frequent visitors. Keep your camera ready.

We loved our stay at this home! It was impeccably clean, and in a very nice and quiet secluded forest/wooded neighborhood conveniently located off of Highway 285. We loved the close proximity to the Michigan Creek and Jefferson lake wilderness areas for hiking and fall leaf peeping. The house itself was great to come home to after a hike, to cook in the big well equipped kitchen, and lounge afterwards in the hot tub or by the gas-powered outdoor fireplace. And only a 1.5 hour drive outside of Denver. We loved our weekend mountain retreat here would stay again!
I highly recommend staying at this property. Property is about one hour drive away from Breckenridge and Vail. Jefferson has that small town feeling, which was great.
We had a wonderful week getting together before the holidays in a beautiful home in the mountains. The property was exceptional, the location is beautiful and the time we had together was priceless. We look forward to spending our next get together here again.
Perfect for the holiday break. This house is a dream destination and architectural piece for anyone looking to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Its combination of warmth, seclusion, and natural beauty makes it the perfect spot for a peaceful winter getaway.
What a beautiful comfortable home. From the start to the finish everything was great. Would recommend this retreat to anyone. Would definitely rent again!!!
Exceptional home and location was perfect! It was a short drive to Breckenridge and Canon City. The beautiful house was ideal for our family of 9. I loved the bird houses around the house and enjoyed bird watching every day, very relaxing. We had a moose visit during our stay and my teenager was so excited. Jim was a great host and provided information on things to do and visit nearby which we appreciated. I definitely recommend this awesome property. We had a wonderful stay!

Ruby, glad you had such a great time. It is rare to see a moose, you were very lucky! You are welcome back any time.
House is superb. An oasis in a busy world. The kids loved the three lofts (one above the kitchen has a foosball table, and one in each of the second and third bedrooms have a second bed). Heated floors are incredible if you have not experienced them before. Jim made the whole process simple, with a simple checkout process. We visited as a family of 10 for the Thanksgiving holiday and give it 10/10.
Loved our time at this incredible property. It’s immaculate and comfy. There are numerous decks for all times of day or as multiple options for different groups to stretch out.
Kitchen appliances are high end.
We only used the master but the bed was comfy and the shower enormous. The soaking tub is beautiful and additionally enormous.
There’s a hot tub as well on the back side of the house.
Windows everywhere to enjoy the view.
The seating by the tv can accommodate a large group.
We will absolutely return to this peaceful, relaxing amazing property.
My family of 5 stayed and we absolutely loved our stay. The house is everything and even better than what is pictured and described on the listing. We only left the house twice to go in to Breckenridge and Vail as we had such a wonderful Christmas relaxing in this private setting enjoying Movies on the 80 inch TV, playing games, cooking and simply relaxing reading while taking in the surroundings with the mass amount of windows. Kitchen is well stocked with everything you need to cook.Beds are comfortaable and bedrooms are quiet as they are down a long hall away from the Living, Kitchen, and Dining, so early birds don't have to worry about waking anyone.Laundry room is huge and even had a dog bath and kennel for our Golden which was wonderful when we left for town. Can't say enough about this house and Jim was extremely easy to work with and communicated quickly. Thanks for a wonderful stay Jim.

About the host
Hosted by Jim Cull
Originally from the UK I have lived in Colorado fo 25 years. I design and build high end custom homes in Denver and the surrounding mountain areas. I enjoy the mountain lifestyle, classic cars. Hiking, skiing and adventure motorcycling.
Why they chose this property
The Park County area is simply unmatched. Tucked just below the Continental Divide and surrounded by pine and aspen forest, the home offers complete privacy and a true high-country experience. Wildlife is abundant, and sightings of elk, moose, deer, and other mountain animals are common.
What makes this property unique
Newly constructed, the home draws inspiration from classic Colorado agricultural barns while incorporating the understated elegance of Scandinavian design. The result is a striking balance of tradition and modernity, with interiors defined by natural materials, minimalist detail, and the advanced comforts of a world-class luxury home.
