Other highlights of this beautiful holiday getaway include a folding LaCantina accordion door that opens up your living/dining/kitchen space to an unparalleled view. It is the perfect cozy ski chalet in the winter and makes for an excellent summer mountain home with easy access to enjoy nearby hikes, lakes and the tranquility of the mountains.

Host was very helpful and accommodating. The space worked well for our mini retreat. We enjoyed looking at the birds who would land on the railing thanks to the birdseed thoughtfully left out. Overall it was a pleasant location and place for our group.

We had such a fantastic stay at the Nordic Holiday Home. The check-in process was super smooth. The host Nick was awesome, quick to respond, and incredibly welcoming and friendly. The house itself was exactly as pictured. High end appliances, beautiful hot tub, fire pit, grill. The linens were luxe-feeling. We didn't travel with any kids, but almost wish we did. The room with all the bunk beds was a kids' dream. Games, reading nook, TV, room for all the kids in 1 place. It was fantastic! We'll definitely stay here again if we're ever in the Running Springs area.

True to size, spacious house to enjoy a family of 12. Kitchen has all the amenities necessary for a special family’s meal. Visited during winter, but this is an excellent location for summer getaway!

Cute cozy house we loved our stay spending christmas eve here was the best choice the house was well decorated felt like we spend christmas at home plenty of beds, Family replied back to me within minutes. Located in a great place with local stores. We took nice walks around with my dogs

This house is absolutely beautiful. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed for cooking/baking. The property is well maintained and clean. The host communicates thoroughly and quickly and is very nice! Easy and quick check in/out process.

This is by far the best stocked VRBO we’ve stayed in. The house was just as advertised and an excellent place to stay. Communication with the host was fantastic. We are already looking forward to the next time we can come back.

Our family of 9, kids ranging from 8-14, stayed in this amazing cabin/home for 1 week. We loved the quaint city of Running Springs, offering a great pizza place, a local grocery and a lake near by in Green Valley Lake for fishing, swimming, boating etc. The lake is stocked with Trout and several of our kids caught their limit and we enjoyed a fresh fish dinner! The neighborhood was quiet and lovely in this mountain setting. The house itself was perfect for our family. The beds were so comfy, the lighting around and in the home had such a romantic vibe and made things so extra special. Appliances in the home were top notch, 2 nice large TVs, great internet connectivity, and a fun backyard with a large hot-tub. There were games and books for the kids and a storage of outdoor supplies. Central AC and Heating which was helpful in the warm summer. We were thoroughly pleased with our vacation and would enjoy a return visit. Lovely decor and colors in the home. 10 out of 10!

The Nordic Family Holiday house was perfect for our family, including our pups. It was clean, the kitchen had everything you could want, 2 TVs with streaming services, plenty of comfortable beds, plus a beautiful, long balcony on the upper deck in front of the house for beautiful sunsets. You can also open the sliding glass doors for a beautiful view from inside the house. The house was well stocked with paper products, towels, soap, coffee and popcorn. Our grandkids (and the adults) loved the hot tub at the end of the day, beach towels provided. It’s close to town and only 30 minutes to Lake Gregory and all it has to offer. Instructions for checking in/out and directions to operate the sliding glass doors were easy and thorough. Communications with Nick and his family was much more than I expected. Informative and so very nice. We are looking forward to staying here again. Thank you again, PeggyThanks to Nick and his family for allowing us to have such a great weekend at their home.

Such a beautiful house, perfect for a getaway with friends. The house appeared exactly as advertised, with a very pretty interior and layout. Not too big and not too small, just the perfect size. We were 10 people in total (6 adults and 4 kids), and we all had an amazing time. I love that the owners provided good quality dish soap, shower gel, and towels. The place was very clean and well maintained. A true gem at a decent price. Highly recommended!

Loved my stay! I used it to host a birthday party and it was perfect! Great views, lots of kitchenware, towels and blankets, plus a hot tub and grill. Close to town and other spots. Easy check in and out. Would book again. Thank you!

This place was great!! It was clean & spacious! The backyard was really nice and the hot tub was amazing. The only things that I didn't LOVE was the floorboard in the kitchen was really loose and came off entirely & one of the downstairs bunk beds was broken upon arrival. Thankfully these were extremely small hiccups. This place is great for hosting families and pets! Would book again

Graduations in the area

We were coming together for a joint graduation weekend. Grandparents, Aunt, Uncles and cousins.We came from Michigan, Utah, San Diego and Ramona. This was a great place to gather and visit. The cousins especially enjoyed the hot tub.It was 10 degrees cooler at there rental than down in the valley where we had the actual graduation party.The windy road up the mountain was beautiful.
